I went to Mumbai Customs to clear a consignment of good value. The assessing officer felt item is under billed and asked me to enhance value by 30% to which I did not agree. I have a D3100 with 18-55 stock lens (pristine but lying useless now) + 18-200 Tamaron (non-VR, lens costs Rs 12000 on the streets). at a budget of 30k you wont get 2 good lens. go for 18-200 or 18-300 since its a big headache to replace lens every time. Also buy a tripod stand coz thats a must. since lense with VR are very expensive.

Than play with ROMs. see wifi works on which ROM. The same happened on my Motorola D3 and I had to live with CM9.

Factory reset should resolve this. If not than change the ROM.

I hope you are S-OFF already. use fastboot to wipe your phone's data (fastboot -w) and flash complete ROM (suggest Verizon) using hboot. If this works, Its nice else you need to S-ON again and S-OFF back. Nothing else would work !!!
