^^^ I got two Motorola D2G's. one is with me & one I sold. The one with me worked with no Problem, But the one I Sold came up with the same problem after it was activated by customer. I had to guide him for everything including SBF (Froyo) & npw he's on GB. Yesterday night I Flashed MIUI on my D2G.. Its working Great & Bye Bye Moto Blur.

Actually you need to "Hard Reset" the phone. There is nothing like "Hard Reboot" imho.

Why you are going for XDA Recovery again & again ??? this is the one which is creating all problems for you. I have already mentioned about "How to Flash Recovery", so you can flash "Sarkari" rom thru PC & Flash Recovery on Phone & your Step# 3. Simple.

If you are not able to send or receive any Text message on CDMA network. SBF to 2.4.330 is the ONLY Solution. Coz no matter what SMS should come at least.

S-OFF = Security OFF. It means unlocked boot loader. Hence you can flash different Recovery & ROMs.

^^^ Radio is included within the ROM's itself. Hence no separate link required. I suggest you to download Stock Verizon ROM & Flash it using PC. Link & Steps mentioned above. Recovery / Nandroid Backup don't have Radio included. Hence a Fresh ROM flashing is recommended. Alpharevx root & Revolutionary both change hboot version to higher version so that ROM flash does not change Hboot version. Hence S-OFF is retained while flashing ROMs. And hence its not a issue. It seems you are making mistake at some stage.

Yes.. for Balram might be that only. Thats why I tell all my people not to remove any Apps.. Only Phone which is working good with Chinese Blotware removed is with Mr. Mazdayar Vatcha. While removing problems came & had to flash phone 3 times... But success finally. Take Care while flashing... Its not NV here.. its ROM Game.... Right now I am on "Verizon 2.3.3. + Chinese Radio + CM7 7.2.0" on GSM.. working great.. final version 2.3.7.. Wow.... CDMA not tested..

You or Tarun ji must have tried removing some Chinese Apps or did cwm backup / restore. Please note Chinese ROM is very sensitive (Really very sensitive). Don't try removing any stock apps or else you might end up... = ~dead phone....

Factory Reset won't do anything with Unlock. May be PRL would be reset. You can dirctly flash to Chinese ROM, But use hboot or fastboot only.

I suggest you should do following --- 1. Factory Reset your Phone. 2. Flash fresh 2.3.3 Verizon ROM thru hboot (Download link in 1st post by Hetal Ji) And this Flash should skip boot only. If TP is being skipped than some problem is there. After you finished this PM me..

^^^ Brother reduce screen timeout, its 1 minute by default. Set it to 15 / 30 seconds. And lock the phone (Screen off) after you have used it.

As such while goggling for Flashing Phone's Carriers, I have seen people flashing Sprint / Verizon Phones to MetroPCS, Boost Mobile, Cricket.. But never read Verizon to Sprint or vice-versa. May be they do MEID registration with a Data Plan. Rest you will have to check with them only.

I tried the latest version of MIUI, It does not support GSM. Older version does support GSM. Can You please share link for Custom rom which work on Chinese Radio ??

tried MIUI. But dont have a RUIM. Donate me some money, I would get it working

Have you tried a Verizon SIM ?? Since its not active, it wont show any coverage. If that also does not work than it 100% hardware issue.

I got a MIUI ROM working with Reliance RUIM in Incredible 2. Call going & coming, could not check data & reliability. Don't have a active RUIM borrowed it from someone & tested it for 2 minutes.

^^^ I feel its Hardware issue. coz even if phone is NOT unlocked, You will get a message when a SIM is Placed in slot. Check Settings ->security -> disable SIM Lock -- If your Phone is unlocked, You will get "SIM lock disabled".

^^^ @Tarun Bhai --- Settings are 100% same as Reliance except for username & password. He went to TATA Hub, Changed his OMH Card & got internet/internet as username & password. He got handset from me, Hence I know. May be its a RUIM issue, Get it changed. Visit TATA Docomo CDMA office..

Agree with Parin bhai.. On iPhone & windows mobile push mail (Microsoft Exchange) are Super Fast. While all Android email app including Push mail & Gmail lag for a second.
