Its because of Network. May be network coverage is low or fluctuating. Also might be that you are getting coverage from 2 towers & the phone keeps on switching between networks. Good Fastboot is the best. I don't do flashing from SD card now. Use Fastboot only.

Ask the person you got meid registered from, to give you PPP HDR Dump. And write it onto your handset for data to work. Also check Radio version. Data does not work on higher Radio versions on EVO 4G.

Phone will show Fastboot USB after you connect it to PC & Have all fastboot drivers installed on PC. I dont know about Atrix. But most Phones support Fastboot flashing. Google for 'fastboot flash atrix'

Connect to your PC on Fastboot. Install drivers & You will get 'fastboot USB' on Phone. Use fastboot.exe to flash fresh stock ROM.

See if you compare hardware, Photon is Un-disputed winner. If you compare them for World Phone features Incredible 2 is winner. For Basic stock features & usability Incredible 2 is winner.

I have used Various Verizon Motorola Android world phones but non supports USSD on GSM. HTC Incredible 2 supports USSD on GSM and you get balance update after every call as well. Same like normal phones.
