  3. ^^^ they seem to have discontinued the plan. before it was 995 where all Reliance to Reliance calls were free including Reliance LL, GSM. Incoming call were totally free & R-R call while roaming were also free. Attached proof. Extracted from my Reliance PostPaid Bill dated 09-sept-10

    Most of the GSM operator charge 3G data roaming. idea charges for 2G as well. For Data roaming Reliance CDMA & TATA CDMA are the best. Also today TDSAT has rejected operators plea to allow 3G roaming.

    I shall come up with a very small version of remove.bat shortly. only about 6MB to download. just reboot phone to recovery and run remove.bat and you are done. But this would Factory Reset your phone.

    I do not remember the last time I purchased a Platform Ticket.. If ever I am WT than I ask my office guys to get 2 Platform tickets so that we can get out of station easily. And I like to get a Chalan made rather than a Bribe. Like get General Ticket & board Sleeper or 3AC. Yesterday only I paid Rs. 185/- + 41/- for 3AC from Jabalpur to Katni (91 KM).
  14. I have not tried much. I was able to get data on Reliance 1x Network on Bionic. But it fails where these is EVDO coverage. Reason unknown. APN / ppp-ril.options both do not work even if IP behaviour is set to Simple IP. There is a build.prop tweak to get it working, which I have not yet tried. Once we have APN / PPPD working in CDMA, data with OMH is possible. Since Razr, Bionic take everything from OMH, even the PPP HDR passwords. I do not have any such handset like Razr, Bionic to try this out with, So I cant help.

  16. Rajan bhai, you are right, most eBay sellers mention about Data & everything, but they hardly do it. Most of them go for the cheapest MEID registration thru UN-authorised sources or register MEID as Blackberry where the Buyer is always in problem with Data. So ask seller for Data before you buy. Else you wont get data except few.

  18. Rajan bhai took my words. Remember to buy from Reputed eBay seller. And call him prior to purchase. Many modems are used. But its the best and suitable for the purpose. But works on GSM USB modems only. I purchased this and got a used item. Had to file a case and get refund.

    There is a similar feature with Etisalat UAE, you can send a call back message to local mobile using USSD codes. Reliance does have a feature (With MCA) informing "Called number is now available", This works with Reliance numbers mostly.

    You are 100% right. HDR username & password are must to enable EVDO. without them only 1x will work.

    in short - No need for any programming if you want to change number on your handset. Since HDR tunnel authentication UID & Password are MEID based & EVDO/1X authentication UID & Password are standard for all (irrespective of MDN). Hence no need for re-programming. Before it was required to program handset everytime in case of MDN change since MDN/MDN were used as EVDO/1X authentication UID/Password.

    ^^^ Please do not expect seller to respond to such queries, update or not. You should google it yourself, Learn & ask thru public forums. And still unable to find a answer, ask your seller. Android has no problems with Updates. Operator Programming might be lost if your use SBF or Factory reset your phone using Settings -> Privacy -> Reset. Always keep a note of your MIN (Check from Settings -> About phone).
