I am facing a strange issue with my new handset HTC 816 (GSM+CDMA). I bought this phone one month back and it was working fine. After couple of weeks, there was an issue with CDMA sim slot and I got the board replaced from HTC service center. I also had to apply for a new nano sim card as I was using a trimmed out card previously and they said this could create issue for the sim slot again. After the new sim card activated, EVDO data is not working even though it shows EVDO signals in the signal bar. But 1x data is working. I have been contacting HTC service center and reliance customer care but left without any solution for more than one week. It seems like a problem with my number as EVDO was not working for my number after putting the same sim card on a different CDMA phone. But Reliance people not able to find the issue. I also found a similar issue reported in the below link and I even contacted that customer http://www.grahakseva.com/complaints/197338/internet-service-evdo-not-working-on-reliance-cdma-prepaid But he was telling he could not get a solution for this issue and he opted to port out to a different network. I am getting really concerned about this now. Can someone suggest any fix? Please let me know

As reliance announced moto g cdma, I am planning to upgrade my handset. I spoke to customer care executive from Reliance but he does not have enough information on 3G services available on this phone. From what I understand, reliance CDMA is not offering 3G instead they are offering only EVDO. But they say it has a maximum speed of 3.1 mbps. If this is true, it should be good enough for using any application. So I want to know if anyone has used reliance CDMA with EVDO and if yes, please share your views. I live in cochin, kerala and it would be great if someone from my location is using their data services in any of the smartphones.

Hi, I am from cochin kerala. I have been using Nokia 6265 for the last 2 years. But it is having some issue with display. Since it being a slide model it is bound to have these issues. I am looking for a better phone. I heard that Nokia 6275 offers same features of 6265 and it is also better one. When I enquired, I came to know that this product is no more available. But from some other sources I heard that it is avaiable also. So if anyone knows where I can buy a Nokia 6275 CDMA for reliance please share with me. If u have ideas about any other good phone having the features of nokia 6275 please share that also. Thanks in advance, Retheesh Kumar
