After the pack is activated the subscriber have to send sms : ACT WWW to 144 to get full internet access on desktop and laptop. Oops...I missed that...sorry Honest... However I activated GPRS plan by sending ACT VL to 141...and I'm able to use apn www...don't know...but may be I was lucky

If you deactivate the GPRS paln by sending the SMS you won't be able to access data on your phone...you have to again SMS ACT VL to activate data IMHO...

No Honest, you don't need to deactivate default plan...I just do a recharge from Vodafone site...while recharging..just select "I want to buy a Bonus Card" and select rs 99/- voucher for 1GB GPRS pack...it should work...

Well I'm able to surf using www apn on my pc...earlier there was some configuration problem...below is the speed test result...

Yes, I am using Rs 99/- topup to use 1GB plan...however I'm not able to connect via PC using my mobile as modem in Mumbai...it was working fine in my hometown Patna...don't know..why they don't allow in Mumbai...

Just got Canon EOS 1000D DSLR Camera. I was pissed with my Canon Point and Shoot as it took very bad photos last time I went out with my parents in night. It ruined my mood and I started searching for a good camera. So first I thought of buying a high end Point and Shoot but some people suggested that it's time to move on to DSLR. Initially I was not confident as I heard that DSLRs are pretty hard to operate. However I was wrong, the Auto mode of 1000D lets you use it as a point and shoot. And there are many presets present which you can use according to your need. And if you are advanced photographer, then you can take full control of camera settings using Manual mode. SD cards are used in Digital Cameras....and for DSLRs...you need hell a lot of storage space if you are shooting in RAW

Well I'm hearing form past 3 months that Canon will announce a new model to replace 1000D...and this deferring the purchase...but now I can't control myself...

Congrats on the purchase....this surely is a nice DSLR...am also thinking of getting one...but I'm more inclined towards Canon...thinking of getting a Canon 1000D right now...will buy better one in future when my photography skills are improved

You can also consider Siemens...I've heard it's pretty water efficient...

My registration ID was already 14655, that's why I was seeing a browser icon with name Reliance Mobile World...I didn't know it's coming because of registration ID...i thought it's coming because I used Reliance PRL...the browser icon always used to go away whenever I removed and re-inserted the battery...but Reliance Mobile World icon used to stay...so I stopped loading service books again and again...anyways...nice info doc...
