No good here in Mumbai .. Network absent at most prominent Corporate park in mumbai. Now I want to say this :- Reliance cell site is on my building (residence) & I get full strength on my handset. Now the matter of truth is VOICE CRACKS LIKE HELL !!! On a Docomo no. which i took for Internet has voice crack which is lesser than RGSM & RCDMA both. What I believe is IMPLEMENTATION matters the most. Reliance has technology but those fools have not implemented it properly. Well I believe CDMA is technology far better than GSM but implementation also matters. For me wherever I have gone Docomo has always given me better service.

I guess this is because most of the corporate users bills are reimbursed only in postpaid .. so operators will get their margin from those customers .... As nothin is going from the pocket of the end user .. !!

I use HP1018 Ljet since 2004 & believe me I have never purchased a cartridge till now !!! I am writing this guide to help you all refill toner in HP Laser Jet : Requirements: 1) HP Printer 2) Empty Toner Cartridge 3) Screw Driver 4) New HP Toner (magnetic) 5) Blower or Vacuum cleaner -- i would prefer the later coz it will not dirty your room. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqidzfPIv60 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dccr_RML_cI&feature=related Follow the instructions in the video. In there you will see a cap where the guy puts toner. HP has realized that and now there is no cap, instead you can open the magnetic roller just above it & also a strip.. Slide the new toner in the gap & put the roller back again. Do not forget to match the roller threads before packing. 1st time it would take half an hour or so but then it is very easy once you are thorough with the procedure. Please be prepared to become black for the 1st time. All cleaning shown in the video can be easily done using a soft cloth and a vacuum cleaner. Also play safely with drum it should be scratch less for optimum print quality !! I dont know about other printers cos Samsung toner is also expensive & gives low throughput. Please spread a newspaper before refilling toner & dispose off the unused/spilled toner safely. My budget : JK green paper : 500 sheets : Rs110 : 0.22p per sheet i.e 0.11p per side. Toner : Rs50-60 depending on availability gives me 2500 sides : Rs 0.024 per side. Total : per sheet : 0.22 + 0.048 + 0.03 (drum charges) = Rs0.298 i.e if you print both sides You will have to change the drum every 4 refills for best print quality if medium print quality is ok it can last upto 10 refills. I buy drum for 300 but i bet it is available for much lesser than this .. didnt take much pains to look for one !! Caution & Note : I am not responsible if you damage your printer/cartridge during the refilling process. Happy refilling. If you have any more info pl let us all know in this thread !! Edit: I know one person in Mumbai who gives corporate one time used cartridge for Rs 1200/- It as new toner & eveything inside is new. That is what he claims but I am not sure if he replaces every part even though it is a good deal !!!

Thanks to all who gave me +1. DK sir I have got one place who gets these chip reset on your toner. (CC388A) there are 2 opts: 1) Everytime you refill your toner cartridge replace the chip on the toner. Each chip costs Rs250. 2) Replace a chip in printer permanently for once & enjoy refilling. Chip costs Rs 1800. Note: I am not any printer reseller or dealer, I got this info from my friend so just passing it !!! Edit: If you want bulk quantity I can bargain with the dealer.

Dhiraj can you tell me the model no of the cartridge present in your printer. There must be a way to reset the page count !!

No that chip is still present in Samsung printers !! It is still not present in HP printers though -- For samsung printers you can short the EPROM's pins so that page counting will stop i.e. it will permanently become to zero i.e it will reset the page count everytime the printer is booted !! So you can print 1500 pages in a single go then just restart your printer & page count will become zero !! For eg: Samsung ML 1640 :

Yes .. refilling it also takes no time if you know the right technique. I purchase the toner & refill it myself .. Believe me you can do it in 15 minutes once you know the technique. I bring its toner for 50 bucks (100g) which prints me 2500 pgs apprx .. Rs 50 for 2500 pgs .. damn cheap .. I used to refill it from outside but it took me 30 min of travel & 30 min of waiting time ... so instead i refill it myself If anybody needs technique PM me..

Well I do get speeds of 28 KB/sec with docomo .. since signal intensity at my place is only 2 bars .. i have brought a long USB cable& have put the phone near my window & then i get good speed !!

Well the better thing than Chrome will be that it will not store our data on any 3rd party servers ... well since it is based on mozilla all Ffox features will run ... It is surely worth a try !!!

No yaar ask your dealer to get it on a preactivated SIM. I got a preactivated SIM from dealer on which the scheme was already present with the card ... & guess what the SIM card was packed & not opened !!! I dont how that dealer got me ... but he did one ... If u want I will ask the dealer if he has some more cards with that scheme ....

Just look @ our Hitesh bhai's store & u will forget Samsung !!!!

I switched to Tata Docomo & the area i am getting is @ distance of 1.5km from my place & still signal shows 4 bars ... I am able to talk flawlessly .. I like docomo after dumping my RGSM connection.

Just bought a new connection ... got the same scheme ... Enjoying internet now on Tata Docomo !!! Thanks a lot guys ... Coverage at my place & office is also excellent !!! I was able to make a clear voice call with only 1 signal bar on my handset .... This is something i have never seen in RGSM !!!!

AFAIK, Tata network is the most congestion free network & to use their empty network they are partnering with others so as to remove operational costs at least !!!

I second Sadikk ... all Nokia handsets have been very stable ... It's only after people install a lot of Apps ... issues start to come !!!!

Kanha Tiger Reserve ... has hotels rite inside the jungle .... It is very nice !!! I had been there last year same time & it is awesome to see hat forest !!! Sir but one more thing ... do u require HD to be played on cell phone ... cos even a 700mb normal avi file looks good on cell phone screen...I mean the screen resolution is less than the 700mb avi file resolution ... how would it matter if the video is HD or not !!! Only if it is to be played via HDMI on a TV .. things will be different ....

@ Raccoon, for Rs95 6GB/month ... dont u think that combo is good ? Those who want more can recharge their phones again ... Personally for PC i prefer wired BB, as it is much more reliable & FAST for the price it is now. I will love to install Nimbuzz & skype on a Docomo connection & talk with ppl ... even if I talk 8 hours a day I am not running out 6GB ... That in itself seems cool to me !!!
