I have a RUIM enabled nokia 2280 & want to use it for RCONNECT.I have installed d driver for DKU-5 and installed nokia CDMA 1xRTT 3G packet data modem (COM1).Its not dialing and showing error 692 -hardware failure in modem. I tried tata also but same results. Is it possible to use rel,tata or garuda for net with such flashed sets?

Yes you should be able to use it,try tweaking the settings using phoenix or deigo,or try copying pri file(using diego or phoenix) from a working ruim based 2280 (ones sold by tata) and write it to this phone your problem will be solved. Thanks pankaj and Ashish, Diego 3.09 is not detecting it.can i try it with nokia 3125(reliance). Its d original reliance phone (not flashed).I want to use it for GARUDA net. tell me how to proceed?

you did it well but you need to run a updater to complete d process.here is the updater WL3TCPF21001_UPDATE.zip

you can get spc using CDMA WORKSHOP - go to security tab-SPC-choose Universal EFS than nvm_0002 press OK. u will get the spc with phone lock code.

I tried CDMA WORKSHOP but it ask for verification #1 & #2 for converting to UIM ONLY or UIM IF AVAIL(SS attached). how and where can I find these Verification values? Does it need some firmware,updater as required to unlock HUAWEI EC321& EC325? If someone has done it successfully plz post here.

GReat News......hurray! I have unlocked my Huawei EC321 with the same technique & updater provided by my dear Ashok. Now I can use any SIM (garuda & tata) for net & my default RELIANCE no. is working well without d SIM. Ashok ,Thanks for your timely help & support .

Dear ashok do you have any updated firmware for my Huwaei EC EC321? I did all(except updating firmware i.e 25.09.01e) as you mention above but now only Reliance Ruim is working in it along with the inbuilt default connection. can I use your firmware to update it . I want to use garuda sim and my default rim connection (1GB free per month). Any special software needed to update D firmware ?

Can I use this modem with MTNL GARUD? Does this ZTEPST software require SPC for changing SID & NID? If yes, then how to find SPC as its not detected by BITPIM? Any other SW to find spc of ZTE MG880 or HUAWEI EC321?
