Recently, I have found 'another' method to find MIN number from a RUIM card. If Nokia handset is not available or a smartphone. I have just used an unlocked MTS dongle EC122, which I use for laptop internet. Just insert your RUIM Card in this dongle & software Mobile Partner will start automatically. then, in settings you can select diagnostic, where few parameters related to RUIM card will be visible. Like sms numbers etc. Here you will find an IMSI number. which is ia 15 digit number. Last 10 digits are actaully MIN number associated with this RUIM card. I have checked with another smartphone user & my own RUIM card, (whos number, I transfered to my HTC Rhyme, by entering MIN number found from this method). Guru's please, correct if this is not the case always !!

Similar kind of issue also were raised during KG Basin Gas block. Rel has come out of it unharmed, so they are kind of used to fight legal battles & 'win' them also..So, don't think, anything can happen in this case as well.

That if inverter AC saves power by avoiding "on/off" cycle while cooling, then why not reduce the "on/off" cycle itself in normal AC by going in for a one size smaller AC ? Like in case of 1.5 t requirement, if we go for 1.2 t capacity AC, then, naturally on/off cycle will reduce, since it takes more time for 1.2 t AC to cool where requirement is 1.5 t. Assuming 1.5 t AC does 5 on/off cycle in an hour, then 1.2 t AC may do 3 to 4 on/off cycle in same period. If capacity is even lower like 1 t, then, this on/off cycle will reduce it further. I have purchased an spilt AC of 1 t, however, my room size requirement is in same range. Dealer was suggesting for 1.5 t or 1.2 t (very few model in this range), but I have purchased 1 t, with above logic. This will increase "cooling down period" initially. So, what I do is make it run for 16°C for 10 / 15 minutes & then, change over to 25-26°C for rest of the night / day. Works great. I have panasonic, 5 star AC. but, from experience, of using this, I can give you good advice at least for remote. Check, if remote has display with light / for glowing buttons etc. Since, @ night, when you want to change some setting due to over chill or over heat, you have to get some light source, like mobile phone, main light etc disturbing others in deep sleep. But, this probably a small part of decision making.

Do consider XCent, if you have Do consider Xcent. As it offers same level of features as in i20 + additional space. And very good / economical for city driving & occasional highways. I have one & enjoy it truely. I don't have any other hyundai cars, but from whatever I have see, hyundai has improved quality of car with this product & set a kind of benchmark.. I have petrol version. I didn't go for diesel, since after 1-2 yrs I may switch to CNG. So, Xcent can offer me space for CNG tank, which other cars can't offer..

Hope this purchase qualifies for this post.. Hyundai - Xcent - VTVT SX(O) - Petrol - MT - Passion Red 7.28L OTR. 12th April 2014. First piece to touch ugly roads of my city Baroda. Had booked Verna in Dec 2013. Deal got cancelled, as my required colour was not available & Hyundai had discontinued the same. Purple. However, there was a confusion between i20 & Verna. Since me & my wife uses car equally, so a long car would have been difficult for her. Hence, I was about to compromise for i20. However, I do plan to switch to CNG once warranty period is over & having such modification in i20 would have been difficult due to limited boot space. Hyundai, came to know about my problem & immediately launched Xcent. This model was launched in Auto Expo 2014 in Feb. Hyundai officially started taking bookings after 12th March 2014. Was available on display in Baroda on 22nd March 2014. Booked on 4th April & got delivery on 12th April 2014. Dealer Shivalik Hyundai - A'bad was great help in this deal. By luck, or coincidence, they gave me my required color in shortest possible time. Sales team manager was amazing man. While booking verna 4 months back, he was simply helping me to make a right choice & not just sell his inventory. Normally dealers, give you good discounts / offers on existing inventory, but if they have to book an order with Hyundai, similar offers are not applicable many times, as new lot comes with new price etc. (minor variation). He made my purchase experience highly memorable, by managing ultra fast delivery. He has handled a customer, exactly the way a customer like to be treated. Like a King. He was flexible in everything I asked like payment terms, payment method, color, delivery date etc etc. Not a single time he said no for anything. Except more discount !!. He smiled & replied, if you come after 1 year, we can discuss discount etc for this model, but not now, while taking first bookings. Brief Review - Simply Brilliant. Expect anything & it is there. May be less in bhp front, but my main requirement was city driving & I am not a great automobile enthusiastic, so many of the terms like rpm, bhp, pick up things rarely matters to me. Earlier I was having Alto, & I never had any complaints of that. Before buying this, I had checked dezire, etios, amaze, duster, verna, superb, i20. However, in this segment (4m-sedan), this is the best package in terms of value for money. Hyundai has managed to provide quality of interior like a proper high budget Sedan. And price levels are very attractive for this model. We can't compare absolutely, since many features are simply not available in other similar budget models from other companies, like folding ORVM, reverse parking camera, boot space, rear AC vent, large number of water bottle storage etc. Smart Key feature is amazing. Now, many reviews / information is available on line so it will not serve purpose, if I write too much here. Go Google.

Very much true. Rarely people verify the facts, before jumping into similar conclusions & then, as some one said rightly in past " if you repeat a lie 1000 times, eventually people will believe it's true." With WA/Facebook/Chat etc it is becoming more & more easy to spread misinformation.

I still feel, Aadhar card was ill conceived project. As many of the things that were needed to deliberate before such mammoth exercise, were left open till the end & eventually it resulted in many debates in parliament / courts etc, eventually going nowhere !! Condition as of now, is Aadhar card serves no additional purpose. For ID, there is a PAN card, passport, driving license etc & for residence proof anyways, we require latest light bill / phone bill etc. And now, with SC saying Aadhar card can't be compulsory for subsidies, what extra help Aadhar card can offer. Instead of spending thousands of crore on a new card, why did not they thought of making one of the existing card, more stronger. Like PAN card, Voter ID card ? Had they put in more effort for Voter ID card, strengthening, by way of fingerprints scanning etc, they could have at least avoided duplication & also side benefit will be increased participation in elections. Eventually linking bank account to your Voter ID card & thereby making subsidy payment also possible. Aadhar card was a fancy idea & no doubt execution was done nicely, but who knows, what future govt wants to do with it ?

Yes, SBI card s**ks. In my office, 2 or 3 people had this card, & many times, I have seen wasting their time on call center helpline phone, for various reasons, like excess charges, payment not received etc. Eventually switching to other cards. Read more reviews here.. >>> http://goo.gl/1uDOub

^^^ "they agreed", who ? A local sbi manager ? Doubt, if he is authorized to agree for such thing. Has it been approved ? Applying CC is one thing & getting CC is another. Most CC issuing banks like icici, hdfc, citi, stanchart etc, do thorough check on income as well. Since, they have to ensure that customer should be in position to pay the CC bills once it is raised. Since, credit card, as such is an unsecured loan kind of a thing. Be careful while reading terms / condition.

WiFi hotspot without Foxfi on VZ N2 - by using ES Explorer Net Manager on - NON-rooted device. 1. My VZ N2 is non-rooted. And also it is NV based. 2. I was able to connect it to my laptop with Foxfi earlier. However, Foxfi Free don't work for large data transfer. It says maximum limit of day reached & was keep on cutting connection. 3. I have managed a successful wifi hotspot connection by using ES Explorer Net Manager. 4. In the settings itself you get the option to create a wife hotspot. Click cancel when presented with cancel / retry button. 5. Your wifi hotspot will be set just like in case of Foxfi it happens. 6. Normal setting is random ssid / password, which will keep on changing every new session. Hence, go for permanent / custom AP details in settings. 7. For connectivity - I have checked only for Airdroid & not for internet data (as I am facing some data problem in N2, so can't check internet). But, mostly it should work. Status as on 10th April 2014. 7a. Checked for data (from 2nd April 2014) & it is working like a charm.. Now, I have removed FoxFi from phone.. 8. Attached are two screenshots from computer / phone. 9. If anyone, tries, this please, post experience & maybe a benefits/limitations with respect to foxfi. This can be tried for S3 also, in case S3 users have the similar problem.

imho fb paid too high an amount for wa & I really don't know 'to achieve what ?' size of customer base is totally a function of price of application. In this case, WA was free for most of the users. Imagine a case, if WA was priced only let's say 10 usd / year, would they have got this many users ? Half of them ? even 1/4 looks doubtfool. on a slighly different business perspective.. instead, fb could have purchased some startup (telegram) or even moderately established players like line / viber etc OR could have made their own tool with keeping eventual cost of 10 usd/user/year & next thing they could have done is give every user 10 usd/year for some minimum usage of data. (let's say in some 100 MB / month etc). Evetaully cost model could have worked out @ 20 usd/year/user. Once you have got user numbers close to WA userbase, make that usage reward to 5 usd/year. Eventually making it to zero. They could have easily managed this changeover in half the amount. If direct credit is not possible, then in terms of credit money in google play account. Google will also be happy, since this will result in direct sale of 5 to 10 billion usd for their paid applications. Even develpopers also will be richer in few cases. it's like classic case of MS buying hotmail mainly for userbase (which was already big due to 'free' tag attached to it) & Google not buying any existing email service provider but launching their own tool- gmail. Google have certainly not regretted that decision.

on a relevant note, someone had coined a term few decades ago.."Hindi - chini bhai bhai.." Note only mobie phones, but most of the plastic itmes are either sold "as it is" or rebranded. I have seen most of the local so called manufacteres selling CFL bulbs here & most of them actually sell dumped items from China. The onlyl thing Indian about their product is the paper box, which contains the bulb. Few of them tactfully writes "Made in PRC" in order to fool customer who would like to shy away from China made product. Recently, during holid festival, therewere makeshift stalls in most of the places in my city were selling Chinese waterguns in all shapes / sizes & prices. Not a single indian piece to find. And if you find, you can never trust it. Surely this time few importers have purchased at not price of killos, but in price of tons & dumped in local indian market.

Dear Friends, I am facing a hardware problem, & a software solution can solve the problem temporary, so looking for one. In my HTC Rhyme, I have damanged SD Card slot. There was some spring problem in slot & sd card was keep coming out after inserting. So, in order to solve the problem, I decided to remove spring (in sd card slot), so that sd card won't come out & then apply tape so that it will get fixed. As such, we don't require SD card removal day in & day out. However, while using uneducated method to remove spring by inserting a paper cutter etc, I have damagned sd card pins on the phone, so now SD Card slot itself is damagned & can't read SD Card. As such, I can live without SD Card memory space, (as phone works perfectly for data, sms, voice), but only problem is camera & whatsapp. Camera is not concern, but Whatsapp is. Whatsapp downloads images / media on a folder on SD card & since it is not ther, it doesn't display photo / video etc. So, is there a solution, (software) , which can make this What'sapp images / video store on internal memory of phone ? I do have home network & phone can read/write on my laptop through ES explorer. So, if whatsapp can store photos/video there, then also it is fine. I am planning for hardware repair, but parts are difficult to get, hence so far none of the repair shop, I have visited, called me back saying that part can be arranged & problem can be fixed. Hope, I can get some solution for this..Thanks in advance..

rhyme has an MEID number, but tab is wifi only, so no MEID / IMEI number. I don't know how WA identifies the duplication in case of Tab thing.
