purchased yesterday acer emachine em350 netbook, for my brother, which was posted by kamal sir in "irresistible deals" topic, now here is aal info about that: first I make a list of dealers from the info available on acer india website. vcl infotech is the name of acer's outlet @nehru place, janak puri and tilak nagar. went to vcl infotech nehru place, the guy quote a price of 13650 including taxes, I ask for 12999 but he told that it is excluding tax price. now I tried some other shops but very less were having the same model, and even some having, were quoting a price 15-16k for the same, and even they were not aware of mts offer. so I went back to the vcl infotech and purchased the beauty. now somewhere i read that it is also having 3G sim slot, but this is not correct. mts offer is also having some locha, we need to register @ acer website and enter our detail after that mts people will contact us, and ultimately will make us their postpaid customer (will provide the device Mblaze free of cost), then after that they will send that money back of 2000 in the form of cheque or neft. acer guy told me that this process will take 2- months. now about the netbook: very good performance for a netbook. I have previously used sony netbook but this one much faster than that. but it is very delicate need to use with full care. battery backup is about 2.5 hour. i will say it is a steal @ 13650.

and the voice is so dull that anybody can confused that there is some problem with the number i.e. busy or not reachable

kamal sir, in delhi, 2 GB is for 95 only and its regular recharge , not as offer. telcos are fooling customers by providing regular recharge (2 GB for 95 doesnt seems like an offfer, uninor is giving 6 GB for 90 and much speed than vodafone in up west circle) as an offer and also biggies like airtel an vodafone are charging much more than other companies in the name of better network.

No it shouldnt be... let it be a fair game, we should atleast give chance to existing operator to convince the customer to avoid the unnecessary porting for example if any customer is moving out because of tarriff, and the existing operator provide the tarriff what a customer then it is fine. why to port unnecessrily ... Am I right

friends I had registered on idea website for mnp and today i got a call from idea, the guy told me following plan : Monthly rent Rs. 249 400 min local/std free, after free min local onnet= 30p, local offnet= 40p, local LL= 50p, std all= 50p, but in roaming all call = 70p 400 sms local/std free 1 GB Gprs free as i am using android phone. plan is good but I refused because of high roaming charges. anyway how is idea network in delhi circle ?

rajan bhai ur topic title and your seems to be mis-match.... I see this post to discuss suitable operator in my circle (delhi-ncr) but yaha pata chala ki aap ki shaadi khatre me hai LOL... but anyway I am fed up with reliance CDMA as at my place continuous call drops and lesser signal strength has been a major issue (I also complaint several times through all channels but no result) so next choice might be RGSM (as it is better than RCDMA at my place), but there are also some issues 1. very tough to talk to customer care for complaints as it always says "this route is busy" (this is not the case with RCDMA). 2. although full signal above ground floor but no signal in parking basement, (although i dont spent a lot time in basement, but i am considering this point because jab operator change karna hai to go for the best), further if they are not having signal in my basement they might not be having good signal in underground metro line. Now if we talk about signla quality the vodafone is the leader (as per my experience, full signal in basement also) but they are hell costlier (3 GB data in postpaid costs 198 per month, and voice plans are also dearer)., so cant go for that. I am shortlisting Aircel as it has both good network and good data/voice plans and I may got some offer by MNP. aircel is having good (although not full) signal in basement. I have seen a plan of 499 rental which gives : 1000 minutes including local/std/onnet roaming 2500 sms local/national Dialer Tune Subscription & Shuffle (although i dont need that) after free usage all calls including onnet roaming 1p/s and yes 2 GB GPRS (no rrequirement of 3G as it will be very costly rightnow). not considering Airtel because it is also not having very good network (like vodafone), but have costly plans. mtnl/bsnl strictly no no dont have idea about idea ? suggestions welcome ....

Yeah within 4-5 months i will shift it to prepaid but right now i can't doesn't vodafone has retention department, (i think yes) ? why dont try them by giving a disconnection call, you might get a better plan. because vodafone has superior network, it will be worth to be with them after getting some discount. and yes if you got any retention plan please share, I also want to shift to vodafone... In my parking basement vodafone has full signal, RGSM, RCDMA has no signal

hi aman, having a spare sim of RGSM and tried it last night for data ... got a whooping speed of 617 KBPS... although voice service is average over here (ghaziabad)

will suggest u to go for it and try. if u don find it useful then again after 90 days make good use of MNP

amazing!!! no one is backing nod32 although some votes are there. I found eset smart security best, cost me Rs. 1370/3 users (on renewal). MSE has some strange problem (used it in past), whenever I download movies from torrent and movie reached about 30-40 % it show some msg and deleted the downloaded file. initialy i couldnt understand but when 3-4 movies gone like this then i came to know the reason, also it slow down pc to some extent (atleast in comparison to nod32). one main feature of eset smart security we need not to purchase newer versions on release, just uninstall the previous version and download newer version and put ur username and password in to it. no slowdown effect on pc and regular updates (2-3 times in a day). very effective in detecting viruses (no need to explain, its awesome) the other special thing is that very simple UI in comparison to other big names in antivirus industry.

sorry but not agree.. as of today samsung is far behind htc in terms of hardware specially in body design. apsrt from this is samsung having any special feature like htc sense (I am big fan of htc sense)

(in discount plan, we get assured discount of 5% to 60% on per second billing so effective call cost ranging between 57 paise to 24 paise per minute). and In 90 Rs I got 6 GB data for my HTC wildfire. now I have recharged with 26 and get discount plan for STD calls also for 90 days. some attractive recharges from uninor are i gain 198: 120000 sec u to u, 42000 sec all local (val 30 days) 500 topup: 600 main balance TT i gain 7 : local onnet sms @1 paise, local offnet/national sms @ 11 paise, (val 30 days). myinternet90 : 6 GB data for 30 days. some topup offers are topup 50 = 50 TT topup 100 = 110 TT topup 150= 165 TT topup 300 = 355 TT topup 500 = 600 TT I am getting good value for money and yes network quality is well maintained, no call drops, full signals across the city.
