  2. Hi friends (and RIMWEB Gurus) I want to buy a GSM Android phone, budget is max 15000. I have chosen 2 phones HTC Wildfire and SE Xperia X10 mini pro. but somewhat confused between them. here is my views about both of them, I want suggestions from your side. HTC Wildfire Plus points 1. Running android 2.1 and getting update to 2.2 in december while SE Xperia X10 mini pro is running only android 1.6 and getting an update to 2.1 only. 2. large 3.2 inch screen. 3. good looks and built. minus points 1. Low resolution. 2. although battery power is 1350 mah, but I have read reviews that battery drain out much faster. 3. less powered processor (528 mhz) although RAM is 384 mb. SE Xperia X10 mini pro Plus points 1.well built slider keypad 2. good resolution. 3. although battery is of 930 mah but have read reviews that battery is long lasting. minus points 1. smaller screen. 2 it looks like lady's phone. (like micromax bling) 3. older android 1.6 version. friends please suggest which phone I should go for ? is there any other phone in this category, I dont like samsung at all (because they have poor built quality, poor looks)
  3. Which GSM Android Phone to Buy?

bought htc wildfire.... well phone is awesome, touchscreen is very nice. signal reception and radio reception is quiet good, call voice is very good. the only drawback seems to be the display, which I can bear if I am getting so many good features.
  4. what is the function of accelerometer sensor ?

Mr. Rajan you might laugh on me but it become a very necessary tool many times.
  7. Which GSM Android Phone to Buy?

Oh Diraj bhai, now I am confused in moto quench xt3 and wildfire. the only drawback of wildfire is its very poor resolution quench has little good processor (600 mhz), good resolution. I have 1 special query as we can use flash as torch in wildfire, can we do same in case of quench ? is the offer of jacket is still valid on quench ?

  9. Advice Needed: Going To Start a School

dear copperco, its a semi urban area, where I will be starting upto 5th class in first session, and during the session (2011-12), I will complete the affiliation formalities. and here is not any school with good infrastructure and facilities, I am thinking of this untapped market. @ sumit sumit bhai DPS and RYAN are too big yaar. The area I belong to is a small town, and there is hardly any school with good infrastructure and facilities. I am thinking of providing good infra and facilities but DPS and RYAN will be too big. I will be starting with minimum infra needed for upto 5th class and then gradually increase it year by year upto 12th. but in future if there is any option I consider them... thank you guys for ur suggestions
  10. nice move by BSNL. and where is IDEA, do they hold licence in haryana, if yes why didnt they respond first. IDEA is only operator flooding Ad of MNP on TV since 1 week but sleeping now.
  11. MNP confirmed, today's times of india has evidence I hope I am the first on this forum to report the MNP to go live without further delay
  12. Which GSM Android Phone to Buy?

I saw the phone (htc wildfire) at reliance digital. resolution is very poor, otherwise phone is good, well built. is moto quench xt3 better choice ?

  16. Comparing Android Touch Phones Under Rs. 20K

dude u missed motorola bacflip and recently launched motorola flipout.....
  17. Which GSM Android Phone to Buy?

@ dhiraj bhai thanks for your suggestion, I dont like samsung phones and even dont have higher budget for desire etc. so HTC wildfire from ur side. @harishmahesh legend is much costly than wildfire, I also think same about x10 mini. HTC wildfire from ur side too. @rajan bhai thanks for suggestion. apart from quench xt3 motorola also has launched backflip. I am thinking of these 2 also. any link for detailed review of these phone. but LG phones are not upto the mark if we compare with sony and HTC. huawei, spice and videocon handsets are just crap. so till now wildfire is winner but just two doubts Is the processor performance really bad, I am not going to use it very heftily ? Is the display is very bad ? what about battery life ? any comment...
  18. The Truth Behind Led TVs

Nice info thanks for sharing Rajan ji.
  19. this is an old issue now, I have mention it somewhere in forum earlier.
  20. sms has to sent to which number?? 5XXXX? send sms to 1900
  21. Karthik bhai here is another reason to say bye bye to reliance (I forgot this to mention earlier) In june there was offer that if we activate Ebill then itemised billing will be free, I did mistake (it seems like that) by activating Ebill. the fool person activate itemised bill instead of Ebill. In next bill I was charged for it. I called up CC and got waiver for it also file a complaint that it should not happen again, but look at the height of foolishness and carelessness of ****ing reliance, they are continuously charging me for itemised bill since then, and I have to called up CC every month to get waiver and to file complaint that it should not happen again, but has become a recurring process. But now for october bill, there was another low for rcom. I called up CC as usual for the waiver of Ebill but the donkey answering my call doesn't know what is Ebill ? shame on you Anil dhirubhai
  22. It seems that RCDMA is ready for MNP. I sent message from my phone "PORT 9310634209" (sms format to change operator) and got reply "Dear Reliance customer, your porting request code number is RDD4EVBL. The code is valid for 24 hrs. Thank you." It will be nice to leave reliance as early as possible.
  23. Many people are desperate because of the treatment they are receiving from their parent operator. It's not the case of "The other side of the road is greener". One point is clear, after the MNP, the on-net call packs will not be there, as it will be very much difficult for a caller to track which subscriber is with which operator. but atleast we can compare the service provided by different service provider.
  24. Why you so desperate?? Did they rip you off Kartik bhai, I should now tell you the whole chapter I am using RCDMA since 2005 as prepaid. In april 2009 I became a postpaid user, everything was fine till I shifted my residence to vaishali (Ghaziabad) in feb 2010. I am not getting proper signal at my home, cannot make a full call without dropping. also I cant find a single signal in my underground parking. I lodged complaints in every possible manner (*222, webworld, mail to service assurance cell and nodal officer), but all in vain. On *222, they keep saying that there is no problem from our side. nodal officer didnt bother to reply my mail and Service assurance cell sent me same mail in all 3 replies (posted below) "Dear Mr. Chaudhary, With reference to your e-mail regarding network issue on your Reliance Mobile number 9310634XXX, please note that your complaint is registered vide Service Request ID 122511344. We have escalated the same to the concerned department and will respond to you shortly. We understand the inconvenience caused to you and take this as a feedback to improve our services to meet your expectations. Yours sincerely, Moumita Chandra Service Assurance Cell Reliance Communications" and now since 1 week, it has become very common when I call my friends or they call me "This route is busy" bhai now I cant bear any more, bhaaad me jaye cheap tarrif. I was using vodafone for some time in delhi circle and find it awesome and full signal even in underground. bye bye reliance
  25. Thank god, I am coming in synverse zone, will be getting MNP in first phase, and getting rid of worst service of RCDMA right from first day.
