Actually in my busy life I couldnt find out whether the remote with d2h dvd is universal or not and even I didnt felt the need of same because my sony lcd automatically startup in AV mode if set once. I have also used tata sky, Remote buttons are not comfortable in pressing like TS. also some functions are very confusing like changing channel language (available only in some channels). moving around channels is more better in TS but if d2h can provide all channels for 275 why airtel and Tata sky are charging so high, this is the reason I went for D2H..

I am using d2h since 3 months DVD 5002 Model following is my observation: 1. cheapest plan, they simply have two plans for hindi viewers GOLD (Rs. 150) and DIAMOND (Rs. 275) unlike airtel which have several plans and highly priced. 2. No problem till in hardware 3. in rain all dth show disturbance even in tata sky 4. remote of dvd is not user friendly, very confused 5. most important, it take about 50 sec to startup, very slow 6. if you take gold pack and want any sports pack, it has to be taken for min. 6 months. 7. built quality is average not very bad.

Dude understand the difference kBps and kbps, if you are getting download speed of 5 kBps it it means the speed is 40 kbps. for downloading speed of 280 kBps u need at least 3 mbps connection.

I was using 499 Plan (256 kbps, 3GB limit), when I called them first time they give me 20% discount (i.e. 399 for 256 kbps, 3 GB limit). then I called 121 2nd time as suggested by Manish ji, The retention dept offer me 449 Plan+ 20% discount, Plan detail: Rent- 360 512 kbps upto 500 MB and after that 256 kbps downloading-unlimited But the interesting fact is that I have downloaded over 1 GB and speed is still 512 kbps. Manish Ji I think Airtel has doubled its speed (promised to be done in june), because I am getting consistently 512 kbps even after 5 GB download, as my limit for 512 kbps was only 500 MB.. difference is that it is not a regular plan, you need to grasp it. but is is not very tough to get this plan. I call them just after first bill and get 20% discount and after second bill I get this 360 rental plan.... :Sorprendido:

Samsung and lg are coming out full qwert keyboard phones, in competions with likes of blackberry. they are expected to be out in next two months. The prices would be quite competetive and would have full feature in them. unlike blackberry which is halfbaked product I think samsung ang LG mobiles have high degree of halfbaking than blackberry for example samsung corby (low qwality battery and touch screen)

one interesting thing about BSNL: use micromax 3G data card (MMX 300 G) and use BSNL 2G SIM with 274 voucher Result : you will get nearly broadband speed i.e. 256 kbps(DL speed of upto 30 kBps) good one na.............

I will suggest you Sony H-20, if you can stretch your budget about 2000 (will cost you around 17000). Dont go after megapixel blindly.

In CDMA battery is main issue, Look @ the corby, No use of good phone unless it has a good battery.

what about postpaid user ? CC has no info, Webworld has no info, to offer k liye kya Anil Ambani k paas jana padega... And No info is given about battery mAh even at www.samsungcdma.in , rather very little info is given at website about corby speed as compared to other handset. Kavita is also not responding.

Ask CC today about Corby speed 15 gb free offer but they dont know about it (even about handset, offer to door ki baat hai). it is the time that Rcom should stop waisting money on these silly guys and declare RIMWEB as official CC. it will be Huge cost cutting, and rcom will be able to give more offers
