Sadik, I suggest you to visit "Ramoji Film City" only if you a full days time as it will take up your entire day. The rest of the places like Salarjang museum, Golconda Fort, Hussain Sagar lake(best time to go is evening), Eat Street(best time to go is evening), Charminar, Laad Bazaar(Near to Charminar) - since you are visiting with yr fiancee. You may also like to visit Lumbini Park. Dont miss the biryani of the following places 1. Paradise 2. Hyderabad House 3. Bawarchi Haleem is available only in the month of Ramadan. You may be lucky if you spot Haleem when you visit Charminar(old city area). Let me know if you need further help.

MASTER TUTORIAL: Make Your Windows XP Super Fast !
saikatmandal replied to Vishal Gupta's topic in General Technical Discussion
Hi Vishal, If you could write a bit more about the registry tweaks that you have included it would be useful. Just a line as to what happens by including those lines. A splendid job otherwise.. Keep up the good work. Thanks! -

Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !
saikatmandal replied to basant_jp's topic in Nokia
Schumi, Nokia might be quitting the CDMA segment. That is, it will not manufacture CDMA handset anymore. Consequences: We may not get any new handsets from Nokia anymore. But I don’t think, they will stop their after sales support for the CDMA phones. As such, GSM and CDMA phones have the same service center. So as far as the resale value comes, it will not get effected all that. Because you still have a good number of Nokia CDMA handsets in the market and Nokia cannot deny their support to them. Right now, Reliance is entering into GSM sector for the 2 circles in Delhi and Mumbai. But Reliance already has their GSM services in some 8 circles. So CDMA and GSM for Reliance will go hand in hand. But their CDMA network would still enjoy the highest coverage as it spans literally the whole of the country. Acquiring GSM license would still take some time and investment for Reliance. So CDMA should stay for long and good. What reliance needs now is retaining their customers with good competitive pricing and offers. -

So you are saying that the phone is worth its price... is it?? Thanks for the info Vikram... My father uses a Nokia 2112, which I want to exchange it for 6235. I wanted to know if it be good to get it exchanged for that price or should I wait for a better nokia handset. Please advise.

Has anybody come across some fascinating/interesting game recently? I am tired of installing and browsing through the games one by one. It will be nice to see some fresh faces for my (ageing) 6255. cheers!!

An unique problem I face now with my 6255 is that after upgrading the firware(V N150V0402.NEP) I am unable to go to the caller groups menu. On selecting the Caller Group menu, it goes to the main screen . Dont know how this problem arised. Have any of you faced this problem before?? Any solution guys?? One more thing I would add is that using Nokia Diego software, I have set the EMS option 'ON' and now I can send really long SMS. Diego also lets you to customise some/all the hidden features of the phone which are otherwise blocked/disabled by Reliance. For e.g. I have configured ny camera options to record video in mp4 format. There's a setting that is "ACCOLC updated by MDN" or something similar. If you turn that off you can set your ACCOLC to whatever you want. It's a priority level for your handset to the tower, IE if the tower starts getting overloaded the tower will hold you at a higher priority than everyone with a lower ACCOLC. By default your handset should only be able to get from 0-9 (it's usually assigned by the last number of your phone number) but you can change it as high as 15.

Hey avi... go through all the forum posts and you will have all your queries answered for sure.. The mobimb software gives you drag and drop facility to install games.. you just need to drag a .jar file to the games folder of the phone and you have it installed.
-
Atul, it shouldnt be the case.... are you sure the game jar files are being loaded correctly without any errors?? is this the case with 1-2 games or all the games that you are trying to install. does it give any message when you drag and drop the jar file to the games folder?

CA42 is a connectivity adapter wherin it creates and works thru virtual port. like DKU5, it emulates virtual serial port. CA42 would be similar. The DKU2 actually uses the port from your PC. If the phone is CA42 compatible, it should also be DKU2 complaint. check out with DKU2 cable, your problem may get solved.
-
I am not using Bluetooth dongle, I connect rconnect using the DKU-2 Cable. Thanks for confirming me. I am already a proud owner of the phone, but wanted to go for a higher capacity MMC. Now that you have confirmed, thers no stopping to buying one. BTW, any idea of the prices of the MMC card? some one quoted 256MB - Rs 1000/- 512MB - Rs. 1800/- in Bangalore. Hows the prices in Delhi?
-
Has anyone tried the 6255 with higher capacity MMC card? Does a 256/512 MB card work on this?? Can anyone confirm. Thanks in Advance!
-
Yes filesize of more than 6.5 may not get transferred thru Bluetooth/IR. Anyone able to find a crack on this? Transferring thru a PC is a better option for larger files as you can place the files directly into the MMC.
