I am using LG RD5130 handset. My profile has got automatically changed to Carkit mode and now I am not able to change it to any other mode. While trying to change it, it says that "Pull out carkit". I can't receive/make calls, I can't hear the ringing bell not any voice from incoming call. But it works fine if I use headset. I went to LG service center they are saying that- The handset is exposed to water thats why it is behaving like this and it can't be repaired. Please let me know if anyone came across this problem.

I have taken a few pics from the phone camera, they can be seen here I have tried transferring mp3's and pics from the desktop to the phone and back, the process is smooth enough, and the sync software is well made. The phone cannot display images of resolution greater than 1024*768, sometimes only upto 640*480. Also the pixels per inch must be 72, any higher and the image might not be displayed. In order to change the resolution of your digital camera images, I recommend using GIMP, an open source image manipulation program. Open Gimp, hit the Image menu, and select the Scale option, set the width and height to 640 and 480 respectively, also set the pixels per inch to a lower number(i use 72 to 95 depending on the complexity of the image). And save the image. Gimp can be downloaded here I have not encountered any trouble while using the sync tool for mp3's or images. I will try and debug your problem... Now i am able to tranfer mp3 songs and pics thanks for your willingness to help . One quick question. which kind of movie format phone supports ?

I am unable to access the content folder in the PC sync software after connecting to the phone . I am able to synchronize phonebook,memo,etc . but i am unable to tranfer mp3 songs,images ,sounds etc. Both the arrow keys < > are disabled in content tab. getting the msg - cant open internal memory .Please anyone help me out.

Each time you connect ipod By default it would be in auto sync mode and you can only change the ipode settings only when itunes is on and ipod is connected . By the time you change the settings to manual . ipod must have started erasing the songs with the blank library list. you will get a message ' ipod updating dont disconnect'

I have purchased APPLE ipod 512 mb .Each time when i am connecting my ipod to the usb port . all the songs are getting replaced with the blank list in the library.If i dont have the songs stored in my system everything has gone for ever. Is there anyway to keep the existing songs and add new songs to the ipod. Thanx in anticipation.

I enquired about the R-WORLD availability in N6155 to chairman's office. They told me that it will be available from August 10 onwards. Is there anything true in this ?

I confirmed with the pricing about 6255 with Chairman' office - For 6255 they charges 13218 where as for 6155 its 9700 - 10100 .Is wap disabled in 6255? . I have attached the price list i got from chairman's office Handset_Price.doc

The LG service center will charge 170 rs for servicing + charges for changing parts. I advice you to go for handset upgradation to LSP350 which is more superior to LSP-340 by paying 800 rs

I went for change of my old fwp instrument (LSP-340) for ( LG LSI - 110 ) under replacement offer of 800 .I believe under the current scheme it is not possible to replace LSP -340 with LSI -110 (cordless model ) However ww executive was not aware of that and he gave me LSI model and ask me to activate the number after 2 hrs and i did the same and got my old number on the new set. The next day i got an sms from reliance to pay some 3450 rs . when i called up reliance CC they told me that you lost your old handset and go for a new one and for the new handset they have charged me 3000 rs and 800 rupees i paid along with my old instrument was adjusted in my bill and he asked me to contact the ww and sort it out the same. I would like to know is there any problem with r-connect on LSI model and whether they take back my LSI model as it was wrongly given to me ?

what was the cost of 6155 ? you purchased it from WW or Nokia dealer ?

In one of the earlier posts . I got a document which lists down the possible Handset Upgrade options. In that it was not mentioned that from LSP 340 - LSI 110 is possible . Event the same is confirmed by CC also . LS1 is simply a waste . battery life is pathetic. Is it possible to go for another model LSP350 as LSI model was wrongly given to me. Hi all, I am facing a problem in reliance FWP model LSP 340 E . it is giving error "Service required" .it is not catching signals. when i approached LG service center people .they tod some IC'S are damaged that you have to change one board and it cost more than 2000 . 3 months back only i have changed one IC board due to problem in keypad which costs me around 500 .Please suggest is there any other way to get one refurbished or new set and get the number transferred to that phone as i am having Plan700 and i don't want to loose that one.Is it worth ,going to local technicians and looks for solution.Please do reply

Thanks for the wish , I believe even the CMO will say the same thing that CC has said, you have to give the old instrument in working condition to get the new handset . Regarding replacing the motherboard with the mother board of any old fwp will not work for me as this number is very important for me as i am in plan 700 and i want to retain that one.Moreover replacing with any other provisioned motherboard will result in getting that number in my instrument .i have to get one non provisioned fwp and provision it with my number . I believe ,reliance has something called quarentined numbers where you cannot have a number which is deprovisioned for the next 3 months untill and unless you are high profile customer.

I am ready to purchase a new FWP but i want to know whether the number in the old instrument can be placed on the new handset without repairing the mother board of the old instrument . Lg service center guys told me that you have to replace the motherboard & provision your old number on it and then go for a new instrument and swap it ? Please advice whether i can have old number on new instrument without replacing the motherboard

But whether they take old instrument in non working condition. Do i need to go for repairing for 2000 .Is there any other way . if i am managed to get some refurbished landline and replace the pcb board of the old instrument with it .whether there would be any problem . Please reply asap I am totally confused . Do anyone know any Reliance dealer in pune who can take the non working instrument and swap with new one by paying a little extra with 800 Any one pls help whether the instrument which is getting through 800 option is a provisioned handset if i am not replacing the motherboard of my old instrument is it possible to provision that number on the new fwp .Please confirm
