I was once at a place where there was no network so my phone LG RD 2030 was showing searching for some time and then it suddenly showed Battery saving mode on. So I suppose LG phones have battery saving techniques and anti heating technology.

Well above it says that SCM is a 4 bit number. Now when I read through UniCDMA it shows SCM as an 8 bit number. What does this mean is UniCDMA readin it wrong or is it also possible to hava an 8 bit SCM. I've attached a picture of what I found maybe one of you techies could make some sence out of it. I think if they've developed some way to reduce this heat then we would have to go to LG service centre to upgrade our phones isnt it. And anyways I dont remember exactly when but last week it came in Times of India that a Nokia 3310 EXPLODED while talkin on the phone and it was totally shattered. These incidents have been happening very frequently with Nokia phones it said and that uptil now about 5-6 phones had exploded and that it maybe due to some fault in the battery which couldnt handle the heat coming out while talkin too long on the phone. I think increasing the attachment space would be a gr8 burden coz maybe now this forum is not that well known but after a few months itll be a headache with all thousands of users crowding and posting large files spamming, etc. Then maybe Arun would rethink hosting on his server and then ull have no forum to post on so better sumthin than nuthin get it so I think u should post on free servers and provide link here thats the best.

PROBLEM SOLVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I uninstalled ver 0.7 of BitPIM and installed the old and good 0.62 and believe me the process ran as smooth as butter. Well anyways have any of u'll got the same errors or somethin similar if yes then maybe this is a bug in .7 coz I tried this same proess of bakin up about 2-3 times on .7 only and yet it didnt work and then on .62 it worked pretty well.
