That was but expected else how would a handset which sells here for 18-19K is available for 12K -
@Vabs, If u r planning to use handset for GPS get a 12V (i guess) adapter which takes power from car battery. It works even if yr battery does not hold charge but shud be in the phone.

@Puneet That is a tough one as almost all budget Android come atleast with one camera. What an irony even the Rs3K Android handset from Spice has a camera. On a lighter note Cover the Camera with lens tape etc. -

Guys, Small update here, hesitantly had to restart the handset which i had been avoiding for fear of losing data. But did not have a choice so rebooted my handset after which calls have started working and as feared data is gone. So now I will also have to get in the grind of following the procedure in the OP to get back data. Moral of the story "U can postpone problem(destiny) but never get rid of it alltogether" -

Guys, I have a US Cellular S3 working on OMH and on the latest JB version (Had not rebooted the handset after hearing problems of losing Data). Today am faced with a weird problem, till morning everything was working fine. But when in the GYM there was no signal for sometime so confirmed with my friend who is on HTC he to said signal is not there so was not worried. Once out of the gym my friends handset started working with full signal and mine was still showing no signal. So I used my friends handset to dial my number and to my surprise I was getting incoming calls. But when I dialled out it says "Mobile Network Not Available". So i put the handset in Airplane mode and back but still no signal. I still get incoming but no Data, while the handset does not show any signal bars. In the Settings menu -> About Phone -> Status it shows the following Mobile Network type - Unknown:0 Service Stae - Radio Off Mobile Network State - Disconnected So just wondering what has gone wrong. Want to keep flashing as the last option. Any help will be appreciated -

I am facing a weird problem with my Galaxy Nexus. I am on 4.2.1 and 2 days back all of sudden wifi stopped working. Now the wifi option in Settings menu is 'Grayed' out and am unable to switch it 'ON'. Can someone help with this

Yes my friend has updated and everything is working fine. Have not checked EVDO as he has not activated it.
