Network name as shown above in the pic has been there since the time i bought it. It is not new or has anything to do with this update

Guys, I have upgraded my USC S3 and its been over 24hrs now, so far there is no issue of any kind. Everything is working perfectly including 1x & EVDO. Call conferencing connects to the other 2 recipients bet when i merge calls the first recipient gets waiting tone. But since i never used con call since i started using USC S3, hence am not sure if it was working earlier.

@garynsa, Question to be asked is what will happen to BlackBerry, as after opening up BBM it will have hardly any USP. Also many BBM users are also on Whatsapp, so wondering if it adds any value to shift to BBM except for security.

What is the price and does it have 3G capability

Just wondering, if BBM would be made available on other platforms then what would be the USP of Blackberry Platform. I feel its too late now as Whatsapp is quite popular among other platforms and why would ppl wanna pay for BBM besides the security aspect. Had they taken this step earlier the could have pinned down Whatsapp and likes before becoming big.

I get 3G icon but net does not work. However 1x works fine. Have enabled hidden menu ##data# does not work.

@Rajanbhai, I have never had this issue in Mumbai. Whenever my 1x connection was active I could still receive calls. So I guess nothing new in that

One of WW guys told me that Rs94 pack is only avbl with one the ZTE handsets they are selling. Called up CC and was offered 1GB for 94

@Rajanbhai, I am given to understand from WebWorld guys that if you exhaust 6GB before 6 months you can recharge it. They said Rs94 for 6GB is max. But it is only for Mumbai circle as mentioned and that too for PrePaid. They have not mentioned the speed anywhere, whether it is 1x/HSD. But guys at WW say it is HSD where ever available else 1x. Which i guess too hard to believe. So i would request if anyone can throw some light on this.

My friend sent it from US. Have asked him to send a couple more of them. Lets see if he can source and send it. Will come to know by tomorrow
