Guys, Fly has launched the Windows 6.1 based Ivory with EVDO. Some websites suggests price of Rs 15000. Specs appear to be decent. I think so someone should try this on BB 8830 as some of them work on RUIM. Should be interesting to see if it works. If anyone has tried this plz give your feedback.

@sunny1974, I agree to your view to a certain extent but must say some memebrs with whom i interacted are helpful like Mufi (Doc), Dkaile. But as u said once the handset flavour changes, there is hardly any help for ppl using the previous handset. Right now am facing the same problem with my Diamond. I have posted a request for help on the HTC Diamond topic but there has been hardly any reply for over a fortnight. Guys dont take it to heart just posting what i feel and noobies feel. raju

Hi Guys, My ordeal with radio roms continue. After the above i tried Alltel radio which also failed. Has anyone got an idea as to what cud be the reason or any ways to correct the problem i have mentioned above. Guys it has been almost a week and there are no replies. Hi Guys, Have just put my Touch Diamond handset on reliance but am unable to send sms. Currently, I am on 1.08 radio. On Hetal's suggestion i switched to Sprint 1.11 F.. radio. But it shows no service. Then I changed the ROM to MR4 but still shows no service. So again re-loaded the same 1.08 radio and as usual voice works. Am i going wrong somewhere, can our experts provide suggestions. Thx in Advance Raju

They are looking to reduce their debt which is at Rs 22k Cr and also they require money for 3G spectrum auction which will cost them over Rs5k Cr or even higher as they have to bid for both CDMA & GSM.

Providing a plan is one thing but first is does it work on the BB connect

I dont think so its a case of imported handset. As when u subscribe to BB connect services a new pin is generated. But am not sure if it works with CDMA. Can our techies shed some light on this.

These things happen in the world, Its no big deal. Globally almost all auto co's have sometime or other recalled vehicles for faulty parts/manufacture. But this should not take away the credit of the Automobile Industry of India. Also media has a tendency to hype/spice things up or make a mountain of a mole. Hence, i feel we should not get carried away by such reports. Moreover, this is a learning curve which every co has to go through. And you never know if any rival is fuelling and raking up the whole issue of malfunction.

My friend Sharp pineered LCD television technology. They are the best. Its only in India they haven't been able to market well.
