Hi, I have been facing problem with the Mobile data. I am using a HTC E8. I do see the signal bars Ex being full and 1x as full. But when I turn on mobile data it says disconnected and keeps endlessly trying. Sometimes out of the blue it gets connected. but very unstable. Here are the configurations I am using Mobile Data > ON Mobile Data >> Data Roaming > ON Mobile Data >> Slot 1 Network > Preferred Network > CDMA Mode Mobile Data >> Slot 1 Network > CDMA Options > Network mode > 1x/EVDO --"-- System Select > Home Only A quick question. Hi, I am planning to buy the E8 through Reliance website. When checked with HTC Support they told me that its GSM + GSM. But reliance says its CDMA + GSM. Pretty confused. I am using a HTC Desire VC whose backlit is now gone so the phone is fully dark. Do we have M8 as well that supports CDMA in reliance? And are there any problems in using E8 with Rel CDMA? Dont use the Nokia PC suite. Instead set up a Dial Up networking on the Bluetooth Adaptor, use the IVT Bluetooth software to dial out the number #777.

There definitely exists a problem regarding compatibility of mini SD cards with this phone. Yesterday i tried out the shops in Vijayawada and found that none of the NCP cards were recognised by the phone ( the fake ones were recognised) The phone recognised Yes and Kingston cards. I was unable to find a 2 GB card here so can't comment on that. Somebody who's using a 2 GB card can throw some light on this please. I'm going to Bangalore this weekend and intend to check the compatibility of all the brands available and then i'll post an update on this issue. I would say my experience: 1) I use 2GB Kingston miniSD card and it works well. The speed is much better than the card provided by Nokia along with the handset.

HI Schumi, I hope you have mastered the phone by now. I need your help greatly. I have a strange experience or it might be my ignorance. Few days back when i was using the default Mini SD card provided in the phone I could only take photos / videos in PORTRAIT mode. Now I have upgraded my memory to a 2 GB Kingston MiniSD card, now the video / photo I capture is all in the Landscape mode. Is there any particular keypress or a setting by which I can change it to Portrait & Landscape as my wish? please let me know. I remember in my Samsung D620 you can change by pressing the Key #3 and there was no option to change otherwise. In this 6265 i have pressed all the keys but could not change. Please help!!! Hi, Is there any difference between the 6255 purchased from the reliance to that purchased from Nokia Dealer and then converting it. I have a set from Reliance, I have not yet activated my phone as I am happy with my LG7230. they have a seperate instruction set for R-World. So is the limitation of Rworld a feature from Reliance delivered handset? could some body shed more light to it? Thanks, Ravi
