i was not aware of any gender specific phones anymore than there are gender specific cars or even white goods. any girl's AC or girls washing machines or fans or laptops? its much easier to simply buy any handset that suits your budget and put a 'girly' cover on it! i'm not going to suggest pink since its such a cliche but whatever floats your boat... maybe even 'bedazzle' it like teenagers do abroad for a uniquely gaudy look. i know some indian brands tried feminine phones like micromax bling which totally flopped in the market and are not readily available anymore - which says more about the concept and demand for girly products than the fact that women don't buy gadgets. japan has hello kitty handsets [again for teenagers] but not much for adults since most girls just customise the cover with photos etc. p.s.: just noticed one of the requirements was 'cute' but not iphone that's such a personal preference, we might as well ask total strangers to suggest a fav colour or 'best song'! everyone has widely different interpretations of 'cuteness'... also is it ironic that only men have given suggestions so far? any girls out there who want to weigh in?

that's true; but over 3/4th of the voters [about 75 - 85%] decide on party first else why would they knowingly vote for criminals? they just don't know or don't care even when people choose an individual it is mostly decided on caste / religion / surname etc. at least for aap, its not based on caste / religion...

i was expecting congress to win so i never bother to vote, i was amazed that AAP beat congress so i promptly went to their site but donations were closed. there is no point in closing donations - you miss the impluse giving factor. to be transparent, all money collected once polling starts [or target is reached] could be kept in escrow until the next round of campaigning. i feel its silly for any party to turn away donors unless its illegal to accept contributions. until then there should be a way to 'pledge' online like its done abroad so that you can be charged the amount you decide once collections reopen. seems like bjp and aap will refuse to form majority and repolling will happen even though its not desirable. aap might lose the novelty factor the 2nd time around and congress is bound to gain some seats since they will attack with a vengance.

ok, i got my dell battery and ram upgraded from quikr so i'll try posting a wanted ad to see what happens [obviously this swap is much harder than the others] after using my wife's macbook air for a few days it just seems essential to have backlit keys!

1. can you get blowers installed for the rear? 2. is it possible to park in the shade nearby? 3. what about using reflective sun shades inside your front windscreen? 4. have you tried keeping your windows open an inch to vent out the hot air? you can have door visors attached to keep out any rain 5. rolling / folding curtains on the side windows or suction 'jaalis' sold at traffic lights? [which do look bad] over 15-25 min seems like too long assuming the ac is serviced and the car has the correct type of coolant topped up. 6. also try rolling down all 4 windows when you start and put the blowers on full / max speed [usually fan setting of 4] this way you can vent out most of the heat before you start your ac and even save fuel on cooling down to ambient temp [outside] 7. i saw this in ecco ac taxis in delhi - a transparent plastic curtain at the 2nd row which can be rolled up whenever needed. this reduces the large interior volume to be cooled and brings down the passenger space faster to a tolerable temp. the ecco a/c are also quite underpowered for the cabin size.

since i love making predictions, i think 5s will outsell 5c in india! why buy a budget looking cheap plasticky phone for rs. 30-35 k? there are so many better premium options below rs. 25 k. if anyone really wants the ios ecosystem, they can buy the 4s instead and not have to start buying lightning connectors. next year apple will be forced to start discounting unsold inventories of 5c. i'm happy with my 3gs and will be content once i get it jailbroken.
