Today In Hoshiarpur I got EVDO signal for 1-2 Mins on Samsung MPower TV but it soon disappeared. I tried to search a lot but in vain. Can anyone confirm are they planning EVDO in Hoshiarpur?

At existing Prices I will never opt for 3G. Broadband & 1X are sufficient.

I am using Beetel WIFI 450TC1. I have even enabled authentication for MAC ID but still sometimes due to Network speed I feel someone else is using my Connection. Kindly guide me some Procedure to find the Number, name, MACID for Devices connected to Network Recent News regarding WIFI have made this requirement as my Priority.

Will EVDO RUIM work for RGSM?

For Punjab also they are saying same thing. I think RCOM played a Joke with customers as they were the only to share these dates.

Reliance must break its silence now atleast on their Website. They have also mentioned anything even for Harayana. They must mention procedure for MNP from RCDMA to RGSM and Vice Versa.

Only Reliance Customer Care is intimating dates circle wise. All others are saying 20 Jan 2011.

For MNP are the Name & Address Required to be same as for Previous operator.

Majority of the Fiber network laid in Cities be it any Private Telecom Operator, None has Permission for even 25% of total Network. I am talking of Network in Cities not National Back Bone. As per MC or other Govt Local Bodies in Cities charges are required to be paid for every metre, every Pole and every Main Hole as well as Restoration but Local bodies have never bothered to count them. They bribe Govt. officials directly or indirectly through Vendors. Maximum Mouling is done during Nights for the same reason. Media people are aware of it but they never Highlight it due to their own requirements. U can imagine the PAN India Length of Network laid by all operators and calculate SCAM amount involved.

A little Bit off Topic One of my Friend purchased 10 connections in Corporate RGSM. I liked 1 Premium Number so I took it from him. I contacted Reliance for Changing ownership of that single Number but it failed. Down the time all of the 10 connections have been migrated to Prepaid but still they are on single CAF so as per Reliance Address for single number can not be changed. Now I want to convert that Number to RCDMA postpaid using MNP (Bcz of CUG & Signal Strength). But the Number is still on the name of my Friend. Pls guide the way.

For Punjab Reliance Customer Care is saying 5 Dec 2010.

Is call Conference facility available in RGSM? How can it be activated? Is to be used same as we use it in RCDMA?
