Dear All Thanks a lot for helping to connect PC to Netbook & Sharing Broadband. I am Now using Beetel 450TC1 WIFI Modem. I connected LAN from Modem to LAN1 on WIFI and RJ45 Cable from Desktop to LAN2. Netbook is connected by WIFI. For WIFI Security: 1. Added MAC of Netbook 2. Network name Hidden 3. Added a Password for Access. I think this solved my requirements to a large extent. Now the only problem is when BB is working on Netbook its slow / Error on Desktop. I think its just a setting problem for which your help is required.

I am using Beetel WIFI 450 BX1 it has got 4 LAN ports WIFI & 1 RJ11 input port. My BB Provider HFCL Modem provides an output of RJ45. I hv just to connect it to LAN on PC and access Internet no Username & password are required. Is it possible that I provide the output from HFCL ADSL Modem to LAN1 on Beteel & connect Desktop on LAN 2 & Netbook by WIFI. Will it enable me to access Broadband on Both. If I experiment this are there any side effects?

I have been able to arrange beetel 450BX1 WIFI Modem from a friend who earlier used it with Airtel. It has got 4 Ethernet Ports. At home most time I will be using internet from Desktop only sometimes I will be using WIFI to connect to Netbook. 1. Is it possible to turn off WIFI when not required and using data using same modem? 2. How can I share only files without using BB from this modem? Actual Problem is I am afraid of using WIFI always as heard a lot negative about it (news).

Due to some budget constraints I cant immediately upgrade to wifi. Will a RJ45 splitter solve my purpose. I have a good bunch of RJ45 straigh & crossed cable. My Modem has RJ45 port. & same is used to connect to desktop. If I divide this port to Two RJ45 using splitter can I connect my Desktop & Netbook to use same Broadband. Password is not required to login to BB.

Can anyone pls suggest a router / switch with price details.

I am getting Airtel WIFI Router. Will i be able to share files on my Desktop as well as Netbook.

Someone told me that files can be shared by using Crossover RJ45 cable.

yes u can. For number recharge enter Y Number and when it reaches option for payment enter X number. I hv recharged many numbers from single account.

I requestd Reliance to change my Address 2 months ago. When I call *222 they say that address has been changed and validate me with new address but the bill generated still has old address. Its a corporate number. Pls help. *222 as usual is helpless.
