Reliance On Its Way 2 Inform No. Change
Saurav replied to Ashokjp's topic in Reliance Communications
i always remind them with my complaints but hv got no such email. -
No friends you are wrong. New version of software is not currently available but is under development (as informed by GTran authorities) Over here we will discuss the features that you will like to have in new version of software. But your views must have practical feasibility or they might be available in other handsets. For SMS software I recommend following: 1. It supports word wrap feature. 2. It displays and automatically deletes acknowledgements received. 3. In list of SMS received it displays numbers of sender it will be better if it displays names of sender as in phone book. 4. It should be possible to add more words in Dictionary. 5. It has good memory so it should be possible to save more than 17 messages. 6. It should be possible to write SMS in Hindi as most phones marketed by Reliance supports this feature. 7. Number steps to send SMS should be minimized. Settings like save as drafts, save in outbox should be available where the acknowledgement setting is available at present. 8. It should be able detect duplicate messages and save it only once. Ring tones: It should enable playing voice ring tones. It should support midi as well as wav and mp3 format. Ring tones should be louder than those available in present version. Charging Indicator of battery should correctly indicate when the charging is complete. Phone book Animations in phone book which should be displayed in sub lcd when the respective caller rings. It should display name correctly in SMS without any need to store number by adding 91 before it. PC sync It should enable users to send SMS typed using PC. This software must be made available in Chandigarh at some ASC or in web world Sec 35 or Sec 9 or Reliance Circle Head office Sec 9 (which includes Punjab, Haryana and Himachal). Add your needs below.

People with Joy 149 will be beneficial only if they at least use Rconnect worth Rs 500/- per month.
-
In this file they have provided tariffs of other service providers but have missed the market leader BSNL. Earlier charges of Rconnect were comparable to that of BSNL both used to get total of Rs 1.20 for 3 min in peak hrs. But now for 7.5 min BSNL charges Rs 1.2 while Reliance is going to charge Rs 4 in peak hours. In off peak hours for 15 min BSNL charges Rs 1.2 while RIM we are required to pay Rs 3.75. Therefore RIM will be costly. But 1 min pulse for RIM may be advantageous for some.

i think they will replace charger. when a company is replacing handset why will they hesitate to change charger. but still it depends upon fault. prefer ASC over ww.

Does anyone own a GTran with camera? If yes, then please post your views regarding it over here. Also attach an image taken with it. If you are unable to attach then please ask a moderator or an administrator to help you. Gtran_rocks the moderator of this forum has not been seen from a large time. So my suggestion is to please contact Chiraq.

The software in the handsets irrespective of its made basically consists of two main parts: 1. Mobile software (Phone Book, Call and other handset features) 2. Rworld Software Mobile software has nothing to do with Reliance its only dependent on the manufacturer. RWORLD software belongs to Reliance and it can’t be used for other service providers this is what you have agreed when you purchased RIM. When u get a MMS and you choose no to run it a text like jattayu …… is displaced. These paths can help us to know the technical basics of RWORLD. I request other users to kindly post those address below for different handsets stating the model of handset they own (only one post of one model). If you open the website manufacturer (not Indian site) you will find that in features they enlist java enabled. It’s java platform on which Rworld is working. When the working platform is same then is there any difference b/w the Rworld software for different models. If yes, then why and how. For errors relating to RWORLD you are always asked to do one of following: 1. Reset Rmenu 2. Reset Rmenu 3 times and clear memory 3 times. 3. Reburn Rworld 4. Rworld board swap What is the difference b/w these options

My remarks were torn out of context: Mukesh Ambani A Correspondent in Mumbai | November 22, 2004 15:19 IST Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has finally broken his silence over the 'ownership issue' at the petrochemicals-to-telecom giant. In a statement issued on Monday, he said that his remark on 'ownership issues' was torn out of context and that Dhirubhai Ambani has settled all ownership issues pertaining to Reliance within his lifetime. Special: The Ambani rift "On my return last evening from the United States, I was shocked to find that my response to a question pertaining to the way our businesses are going to go in the future has been torn out of context. Obviously, it was an attempt to build a sensational story around the phrase 'ownership issues' leading to a spate of speculations and misrepresentation," said Mukesh Ambani. "I am sensitive to the concerns that would have naturally arisen in the minds of our shareholders, various stakeholders and numerous well-wishers at the media blitz during the last few days. It is necessary to remove confusion caused by deliberate misinterpretation or genuine misunderstanding. Therefore, I would like to set the record straight," he said. "As I was leaving a function, a TV journalist said: 'There have been a lot of rumours about the Reliance group and the way the businesses are going to go in the future.' In response I made two points, namely, that the question itself, does not recognise that 'Reliance is one of the strongest, professionally managed company,' and that 'there are other issues, which are ownership issues, those are in the private domain,'" said Ambani in the statement. "This question-answer context makes it clear that I was responding to the query about the future businesses," he said. "It is well known that in the process of its growth and expansion, Reliance is engaged in diversification, acquisition of running businesses and creation of new assets," said Mukesh Ambani. "In such a rapid growth phase all big companies have to deal with several issues concerning corporate ownership of future initiatives. Reliance is no exception. I will like to restate that all such ownership issues are in the private domain. Placed in the context of the question put to me, it is obvious that my reply has nothing to do with the family ownership in Reliance," Ambani clarified. "I will also like to take this opportunity to strongly deplore some totally unjustified and tendentious comments in a section of the media about our father Dhirubhai Ambani." "Reliance is an eloquent testimony of Dhirubhai's farsighted vision, unflinching dynamism, and unparalleled wisdom. In keeping with the worldwide trend of transformation of family owned businesses, Dhirubhai took, within his lifetime, all necessary steps to separate ownership from management and made Reliance a world-class professionally managed company." "With his extraordinary foresight, he has also settled all ownership issues pertaining to Reliance within his lifetime. I wish to assure all stakeholders that I am committed to uphold the steps taken by him and that the foundation of Reliance is and will remain very, very strong. "I hope all speculation on this issue will come to rest with this clarification."

i have not done any thing with handsets. i am facing these problems from the very first date of my purchase earlier i thought some times a missed call may be by chance but later i called mine number from my landline and found that handset has problem.

There is nothing legal and nothing illegal about it. I got first GTran activated 5 PM signal disappeared totally 11PM. I got 2nd GTran Stopped Rworld after 1 week. Now my 3rd GTran gets totally mute in vibrator mode. Therefore fed up with my complaints they gave me option to pay Rs 8000 or so according to prices on the date of my upgrade. To get 7230 I am required to pay even little more than 8000/- and therefore I rejected this option and decided to wait and after few months I will purchase new handset of my choice. Probably in next few days I will get 4th GTran. I don’t know what type handsets they are selling.

if reliance will provide this facility students like me will prefer to escape from Reliance school and Reliance mobile.

WHO WILL BE THE OWNER OF RELIANCE INFOCOMM Ambani brothers on fight . they call it personal but admits on TV. Dhirubhai left no will. share price of Reliance falls down. If Mukesh become CEO of RIM will quality of service improve.
