It will be much better if you people also complain this at *333 and CEO office along with ww. They will ask u to reset rmenu, reply that u hv done it. Visit ASC, reply it’s not working on incharge of ASC. Only then they will take ur complaint. Don’t forget to ask for case ID. This is the only way to get out of troubles of rworld. In many cases it helps. Tanveer On Gtran mms option is not available from last few days. Its not working even from favorites menu. While on other handsets option is available and they are facing problem which we were facing a month ago.

Hi The battery problem is solved to a certain extent at least in my case. I actually read all posts relating to the charging of battery and made a conclusion on the basis of which I carried following steps which have helped me. 1. Discharge the battery completely. 2. Charge the battery alone on desktop charger for 12 hrs at least 7 times. In the mean time you can use substitute battery on your phone. This results in increase of talk time for each battery. Desktop charger results in scratches but there is a solution for that. Place thin foam below the battery. I used foam that comes with motherboard. You have to cut it and place carefully in the deep area in the base. You all would have read this before but I assembled it to make it useful and its helping me after 2 time charging. it helps try it

I am unable to save ring tones on GTran. Is this problem faced on all handsets?

Sorry I was wrong GTRAN is a well reputed company. Do you agree that GTRAN is a genuine company? I will never agree. There executive said that it is a genuine company supplying products to big manufactures like Samsung. I have never seen such big bugs in Samsung handset. Hv u seen? Every time I read SMS on Gtran my hatred ness for GTRAN gets squared. GTRAN IS A BIG FRAUD COMPANY. NEVER TRUST IT.

Today rworld is not working. Whenever I try to connect it gives message Rworld not connected. Try again. Is this problem faced by all or only by Gtran handset users or only by me? Please help. i hv tried restting rmenu.

My favorites option has been removed from Rworld. It is not available on GTran handset. Further today I am unable to save ring tones. Further the option of MMS and webmail are also not available.

What u hv said are really good features in GTran, adding ring tones and pics from PC. But how many times you use these features? Probably uncountable times only when u have recently purchased it. It would have been better if it supports voice ring tones like other handsets of same range. It supports midi files which are difficult to be arranged. It would have best if it supports MP3 format. If there were animations in phone book it would have been better. I didn’t talk about these features bcz these are luxuries while using a handset. In daily use the main properties of handset that matters are making and receiving calls, SMS and charging battery. As far as making calls is concerned handset works fine but fails in the display of SMS and battery charge issue. So how many points will you assign to such handset. Opinion about the company is derived from the quality of the product not by number of countries where it sells its products. People trusted LG and LG proved to be a good company with products really worth its value. On other hand GTran hasn’t been able to reach essentials in of a mobile handset.

I have heard and many times read that when an entire consignment is found defective reputed companies call back the entire consignment and replace the product free of cost. Entire consignment of GTran GCP-4020 marketed by Reliance in India has been found defective. It suffers from SMS bug and even the battery is not fit for use. GTran authorities are very well aware of these bugs in handset. I don’t know about the repo of GTran, a new company in Indian market so can’t expect much from them. I purchased this product by trusting Reliance, one of the most reputed companies in India. But I am sorry to say even Reliance is not helping customers who purchased GTran. Further to enhance sales of GTran it has reduced its price. If Reliance continuous its marketing relations with companies like GTran and kept marketing product like GTran GCP-4020 it will loose its repo in the eyes of its customers. People will even become suspicious about the quality of Petrol filled at Reliance Petrol pumps which are to be opened shortly.

Code the problem in LG is the number of steps required to send SMS. The same problem also exists in GTRAN but it looses importance when we see a basic problem of appearance of text. This problem of SMS has to be solved by GTran who has to provide a software update according to hardware in handset. RWORLD has to be solved by Reliance. Every time I use SMS on GTran my dislike for GTran gets squared. GCP-4020 is a good hardware in the hands of bad software developers. Till now we have 1 fan of GTRAN who is ready to buy it in spite of bugs. I think he will love to read in following method. Problem of mes saging does not effect me as I a m love to read i n this format.

Even on mouth shut there is a review written by me. i have mentioned the shortcomings of handset over there. am i correct? pls invite more people to vote. write CEO office to provide us upgrade schemes. it's required GTran is not trust worthy company. i will provide evidence shortly.

Code you are very active member of this forum, you have always participated in discussions favoring and against Reliance. So there is no question of thinking you as representative of Reliance or GTran. I fully agree with your views supported with good techie knowledge. But in opinion Reliance has cheated me incase of RWORLD. I can justify this for GTran handset. In features of handset it has been mentioned that it is Rworld compatible. Further it’s written that voice ring tones are not available on GTran. So this implies all other applications will be available on GTran. But its not true. We customers are suffering due to other customers. Many of the applications are not available on various handsets and most of the people don’t complain. This was used by CEO office as justification for non availability of certain applications on GTran.

now hutch provides similar services on Nokia handsets. they hv enlisted the model number of compatible handsets and same services are available on all models irrespaective of model number. why is reliance cheating us first it says rworld compatible then after ur purchase tells not compatible for certain applications

they hv extended rworld free date bcz they hv failed to provide proper rworld services on all handsets. if they make it paid they have to face many questions from customers. for which they don't hv answers.

One thing i've noticed is that, if u send an email from ur email account to customercare@relianceinfo.com abt a query or anything, u never ever get a reply. But the same thing, if u do from their website, by filling the Customer Service Form or Chairman's Office Form, u get a quick response!! Tanveer even on my handset this message is displayed from the very beginning of charging. earlier after 4 hrs it used to display charging complete. and this message was even displayed when i first time charged it for 12 Hrs. while charging it for 12 hrs second consecutive time the message didn't change even after 11 hrs. is there any technical reason for charging it for about 12 Hrs?

For RWORLD LG 2030 is best. WHy r u comparing gtran with every handset? Instead of doing so have common forum for all handsets in Discussio about RIM. there is no fun in repeatedly writing same things for a single handset. Better close this topic here. No more replies here please.
