Our Family is going to enjoy Summer in Kashmir for 3-4 days... Can I use my TataIndicom's USB modem (1x) for internet there... As it is prepaid service, I doubt whether it will work while roaming in J&K circle??? Whether the DENIAL OF PREPAID ROAMING IN J&K applicable only for Voice or as well as Data??? I doubt my USB Modem will never even catch the signals from TI's towers, as it is a Prepaid number.. Please confirm this, my friends... Thanks...

Sorry friends... For all the confusions on the Capacitive/Resistive screen on CorbyCDMA... My friend was having CorbyGSM (FullTouch without KB) and I asked him, what number (his second number) is this, and he said Reliance... He is actually having RGSM SIM in it and I mistakely understood as RCDMA and hence thought as CorbySPEED/CorbyCDMA.. But still, one thing remains TRUE... The performance or TouchResponse of capacitive screen of CorbyGSM (what name I don't know, Samsung is having too many Corbys, even some without touch-screens) is also NOT AT ALL as good as I have expected from Samsung (comparing my experience with iPodTouch)... For GSM mobile phones, to know its specs there are many good sites for eg:- gsmarena, with infos like screen, Battery model+Capacity, OS, Cam features, etc... But NOT so for CDMA phones... ==================================== Once again, SORRY friends, for blowing up the existing confusions to a large extend...

Yes, it is because the touch sensitivity of the screen is so bad, that even Samsung is feeling shy to proclaim it as having Capacitive touchScreen... I too had a look at the phone and initially got the feeling that the screen is resistive, as touch response is sluggish and NOT as good as my friend's iPodTouch.. Bored with TS performance, I used a stick to check the other options in the phone and the screen shows NO response at all and hence I concluded that it is a capacitive TS phone LOLz... This screen is having the disadvantages of Capacitive screen (only fingers) and LACKS (almost 50%) huge advantage of capacitive TouchScreen, due to poor response of screen.. No wonder, the screen felt like resistive to Raccoon Sir...

Now my BSNL BB is back to the form... I mean, it has became VERY VERY BAD as in earlier months/year...

Govt should ban DoT for playing the confusing BAN games (first with S-Tel, now with Chinese equipments...

But very strangely, for a few days I am experiencing good browsing speed and uninterrupted BB service from BSNL (earlier, it is near to impossible to browse continuously for 1 to 2 hours in BSNL).. Whether it has any link with the UnderSea cable repair works in anyway?? Say like limited traffic in india or something like that??? Or it is a silly co-incidence???? Please tell me...

But all good offers of DoCoMo are limited to Mah circle only.. Why??? Previous example is FuLLOnBoL offer... What wrong does other circles have done???

So what... Everything same as earlier and nothing new imho... Those who are roaming using DoCoMo, please use manual network selection, as Docomo has bad in-building coverage and jumps to other network (mostly IDEA) and you will be charged more...

DONT worry my friend... Vodafone can't overtake RCom in near future.. Because RCom is also following fake activation technique like Vodafone ... Can you remember RCom saying, it will cross next 10Crore in just 1000 days, which comes to around adding 1Lakh new subscribers daily???
