SPICE QUALITY IS BETTER THAN NOKIA???? Oh come-on Ramesh don't compare the rare situations.. We all know "One should either LEAD or FOLLOW or GET LOST (wrt a project), But NOKIA is doing ALL-3 at the same time, wrt CDMA market".. That is the reason for its FAILURE in CDMA market, which I have told already here and NOT DUE TO LACK OF QUALITY, except some rare occurrences.. I am even using a Nokia2865, which was run over once by my friends TataIndica (Tata car on a Tata phone) car & it went off.. On switching it off, it started working like before... Hard to believe, but I promise it is TRUE.. We have to blame NOKIA CARE and NOKIA PRIORITY guys for milking the customers who come with faith in them.. Yes I too won't give my Nokia for service to CARE, but to some local friends.. Their service is much better.. But still, the quality of the NOKIA phone (wrt battery backup, NETWORK COVERAGE, build quality) is much better that you will have no or very little chance to goto service centre for repairing & that too mostly by wrong handling or accident or minor errors and not due to lack of quality... YES, even their Basic phones are over-priced... But you can be sure it will go on for minimum 2 to 3 years working (can you be sure that ur Spice can go working without fault for years, NO CHANCE) and when comparing that advantage that small extra Rs paid is NOT BIG.. Do you know why SPICE is giving 2 Batteries for your phone The only problem known now wrt smartphones (GSM ofcourse) are NOKIA is nowadays releasing them without much stable firmware.. But for regular smartphone users, firmware upgrade is not a big task, since you need not take it to CARE for the same.. But still it is a -ve remark for them anyway... My E71 is as hard as rock, even though my child has thrown it a hundred times on the mosaic floor and I too have dropped it accidently on stair case for twice.. NOKIA CORPORATION is avery very nice company.. It has given replacement battery for the whole batch as replacement, when it suspected a few batteries of the batch has problem.. I have got 5 new batteries BL-5C 1020mAh for the old BL-5C 970mAh batteries for FREE (All for my staff's Nokia2112 phones given by me).. But KEEP AWAY FROM THE NOKIA CARE guys and even Priority (their rates are highest) ones too... I am using Spice D-88 Gold and I usually call it as "SAME CHINESE $HIT in new colour"... And I have not used LG for a long period till now..

Virgin wont' say Tata 2 tata.. It will say Virgin to Virgin... Everything else is correct.. But in this SPECIAL CASE OF FULL ON BOL offer, only DoCoMo to DoCoMo is FREE They should bring that free calling benefit to Indicom and Virgin too...

Only Halwah for TN circle... OK.. Jokes apart, Vodafone used to give nice offers to circles, where its position is soooo weak... I dont think Voda launch this offer to other old circles, else only when competition forces ... May be it can bring to MP-CG or Bihar or Kashmir or NorthEast circles

Very good initiative by BSNL... Like Black out SMS day, they are bring the BLACK OUT CALLS DAY too.. Hope other operators who are waiting for any opportunity to take money from customers will follow soon... Then Reliance will offer NO BLACK OUT CALLS days... This way, RCom is regaining its lost faith from customers again...

Any C+G DualSIM qwerty handset available in market... I am badly in need of this type of handset... Even Spice, Karbon, etc. is OK for me...

Reg. CDMA, Nokia should either try to Lead or Follow or Leave CDMA market... But NOKIA is doing all the three at the same time... It should try to LEAD the CDMA market like its position in GSM market, even by adjusting to the patent problems in CDMA.. OR It should FOLLOW Samsung by offering new decent mid range OMH handsets, if it hates operators mole$ting their phones' firmware s/w... Even many people around world prefer a basic 2865 without a cam or TFT screen (it has CSTN only) or card-slot for Rs7000 over SAMSUNG explore for Rs5000/- with MP3player, super-SLIM, Camera, memory card, etc... OR It should LEAVE this CDMA market like Sony Ericsson , as we all know very clearly that it hates CDMA patents, operator interruptions, etc... BUT NOKIA is TRYING to do ALL THE THREE ABOVE... That is the reason for its failure in CDMA market...

Sadikk Bhai, now I am using Tata Indicom's RUIM card (for 3 years) on any CDMA phone, even a RIM Nokia handset with RUIM slot... So how a CDMA OMH card, differs from my RUIM card??? Thanks a lot...

Atleast they should have give the validity to the end of the year 2010 and 2010 more FREE Local/STD minutes to TataIndicom/Docomo/Virgin also... I wonder how many people will go for this offer For this value, BSNL offers HyperTalktime and 49p/min all India calls (for all@49 plan) including roaming... Long long ago, Once upon a time, Tata Indicom offered nice offers (FREE T2T, 1 year validity when Validity recharge of Rs250-Rs350 per month was mandatory)... Where those people have gone??? May be they have joined to RCom and so Tata hired people, who once worked for Airtel

RGSM is good in my area, because its tower is just 20 meters away from my home and office... But from my roaming experience, the network quality of RGSM is not upto the mark... U see, I wont use RGSM while travelling by train .. The MOST WORST place I have ever experienced is in Raipur, capital of CG, where my calls didn't even get connected to any number even on 10AM morning for one hour... Even now, if I try to call a RGSM (smart) customer there in Raipur from my RGSM in my home (NOTE 20m from nearest RGSM tower) the call was junk and I didn't hear his voice at all for even 10 attempts.. Then I called from my BSNL landline... BUT NO PROBLEM FOR RCDMA THERE IN CG... But why I still believe in RGSM is they seems to improve network (in TN, M&G, Chennai, etc..) except CG, may be not in RTL circles...

I am using Home Combo 500 plan with 2Mbps speed and 1.5GB limit and 175 FREE calls with NO rent for landline... Night FREE is available from 2to8 AM.. Charges above the 1.5GB limit is also less and (I don't remember the value) it is same for 500plan... All these for rent of Rs500/month... And if you pay Rs5000 in advance, this plan will be available for 12 months without rent (U save 2 months rent)... I am expecting changes in tariff for broadband within a year, so I didn't go for advanced rental...

Ya, I am loving it... Please dont bring the 11-digit mobile phone number...

Nowadays I am using Double Dual-SIM handsets... One with Postpaid TataIndicom + Postpaid BSNL and other with Docomo Prepaid + RGSM PPC Prepaid... If they didn't launch MNP, I think I have to go for triple TRI-SIM phones later .. Yes, I cannot throw away any number given to others once

There should be some censor board for TVCommercials also and the Ad should be shown to TV only after getting the approval from that board, by showing to them... Most of the foreign Ads are very very vulgar especially the perfume ones and many Ads are baseless and FULL OF LIES.... For example get 2 colour shades less by applying face cream for a week... Ridiculous..

Tatas should launch that FullOnBOL offer to all circles (5Lakh on-net seconds FREE for Rs99/year) and the FREE seconds should also be made applicable for Tata Indicom & Virgin customers too, so that they can continuously hold the First Place in net additions for coming months too..
