Tata Indicom Launches Indi150 Indi224 And Indi325
KanagaDeepan replied to kesav's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
There is no official INFO in their website also???? The above tariffs though NOT AS GOOD AS THAT OF RELIANCE PLANS, they are still marginally better than their current plans... Come on friends, Please tell me, if these tariff plans are REAL or your in-direct request to Tata???? -
SO AIRTEL is getting ready to go downhill.... Its WORDS show its fear upon drastically reducing margins due to competition... TO be precise, this is exactly WHAT WE ALL WANT.... Soon TRAI should interfere in this SMS case and hope it will charge interconnect for SMS as Re0.01 or FREE... Then we will see revolution in SMS charges of new operators say 5k SMS for Rs50... And BIGGIES will :'( CRY inorder to give interconnection charges to SMALL ONES too... Hope it will come very soon....

Tata Indicom Launches Indi150 Indi224 And Indi325
KanagaDeepan replied to kesav's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Offtopic:- Only a diamond can CUT a diamond... Only a reliance offer can beat another Reliance offer... On Topic:- Crappy plans... Even Reliance changed its Rs399 plans' usage to both Local + STD, but 324 has FREE Rs324 worth local calls only... Bakwaas... They give LOW call charges benefits to LOW rental plans only((Previous example is Chat199 AND Chat500 plans))... This is the problem with TataIndicom... They should first decide, whom to satisfy by their tariffs... And finally, in Reliance these tariff are applicable in roaming also... I have lost my all hopes on TataIndicom... Even their GSM wing is doing great with 1p/2sec tariffs.... -
It is actually the limitation posed by the CDMA operators, I think... I earlier used a DualMode DualSIM SAMSUNG phone (May be Duo, but not sure), meaning both CDMA/GSM SIM can be used on a SIM slot... While I used GSM SIM on that slot, the OUTGOING time starts after the caller attends the call... But when I used the CDMA RUIM on the slot, during the OUTGOING CALL the time starts as usually immediately... So I dont think that the software that was a culprit.. Ofcourse may the CDMA operators fault... Because this thing is same for any phone models incl CHINA sets, High End phones of any phone maker has these problems... So it should be service provider dependent... Another possibility is the Basic CDMA s/w given by Qualcomm itself may have this error (to help operators by confusing customers anyway)... CallCentre guys says that all CDMA sets show airtime instead of talktime during outgoing calls... OK... Then why should they just show the TALK-TIME during the INCOMING CALLS... Why not show the airtime by making TIME starting to RUN from the second your mobile starts RINGING???? TOO MANY CONFUSIONS.... Anyway GSM is both user-friendly and straight forward in this case....

Bsnl Introduces Promotional 3g Tariffs
KanagaDeepan replied to sougatadc's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
VERY GOOD QUESTION sir ... And the answer is they need MORE customers for 3G network than 2G network... Another reason is 3G coverage is still a issue and so they have to give nice offers to attract customers.... -
Any Details Known Abt Virgin Tariff Reduction?
KanagaDeepan replied to ravi_patent's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Even TataIndicom is not giving good offers now... Then how come virgin (which is a virtual operator on TataCDMA network) make changes in their tariff... Further, You are very good man, taking only the good meaning from what I told earlier... Just read again what I said earlier to get my point... :rofl_200: -
Sms Tariffs And The Reality
KanagaDeepan replied to ravi_patent's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
So the JumboSMS pack was waived off to you... ANY WAIVED OFF ADDON PACK will be chargeable if you change the tariff plan any time... Initially when I got connections (15) the 75Rs Tata2Tata pack rent was waived off.. When I changed to BizSilverRoam, they started charging Rs75 for T2T and then after my blackmail for disconnections (18 connections @ that time), they waived off JumboSTD rent instead... (At Rs100 rent, STD will be Re1 instead of Rs2.65, even in roaming)... Two months back I switched to Roam450... OOOPS.... Sorry for offtopic..... On Topic:- With call charges reduced to a good extend, SMS is the next way to go... Hope every operator will give FREE SMS offers now... -
Sms Tariffs And The Reality
KanagaDeepan replied to ravi_patent's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
Not like that my friend... Actually I changed my tariff 2 times in those 2 years (BusinessSilver to BizSilverRoam and to Roam450 now---2 months back only) ... All you have to do is to make a tariff change CALL 121 & dont tell them anything about AddonPack... While changing from BizSilverRoam to Roam450, I told them to retain my T2T pack(Rs75 initially and Rs99 2 months back)... Since I told about T2T, they changed my T2T pack from 75Rs to 99Rs... And I told nothing about my SMS jumbo pack, so it is continuing to be 3000SMS FREE (written in my Detailed bill) for Rs50... Hope it will help somebody here... -
Tata Docomo New Stv For Karnataka Local 1ps / 2sec
KanagaDeepan replied to B R SHIVANANDA's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Even though, I doubt that termination charges to be calculated per second, TRAI needs to reduce the same to 10p/min and STD @ 20p/min, so that the other three new operators can at least struggle some time before they die... If that is done, the new operators death will be confirmed by Reliance's new Simple plans with 25p/min local/STD/SMS/Roam plan... -
Sms Tariffs And The Reality
KanagaDeepan replied to ravi_patent's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
Is it so???? I am also on the same plan and for me 3000 Local/national/roaming SMS FREE @ Rs50/month, which comes to 1.67p/SMS... I think, Tata reduced the SMS count now , since I activated this pack may be two years back... -

Good/cheap Postpaid Plan For Vodafone
KanagaDeepan replied to coolminilife's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Especially in postpaid (non-corporate) plans... If vodafone is new in that circle, you can expect reasonable (Note: NOT GOOD, just Reasonable) prepaid plans... But for CHEAP+GOOD+Postpaid plans in vodafone, :'( -
Docomo Vs Rel Simple Vs Rcom Per Second Vs Reliance 1re/3mins
KanagaDeepan replied to vvinayakpai's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
No doubt... Simply reliance is the best tariff plan in India, atleast for now... I feel very sorry for the upcoming 3 new operators... :'( Oh NO.... How can they survive???? It is better they gave up now itself and giving back the Spectrum allotted to them.... Or else they should come with some ridiculous tariff plans such as Rs100/month unlimited local calls (incl offnet) FREE... or 10p onnet, 30p offnet local/STD or 0.5p/sec local/STD on/offnet... :'( -
Celebration Plan Prepaid
KanagaDeepan replied to hritik123's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
1) He is talking about prepaid 2) In postpaid, Tata has Roam450 plan where ALL roaming incoming calls are FREE (No Cap here) and BSNL gives 300 FREE incoming minutes in roaming under 525plan... 3) The Rim995 plan is for existing customers and for the five and a half months only isn't it???? Afterwards all plans get changed to Simple plan, Right.... -
'telcos Inflating Subscriber Base'
KanagaDeepan replied to Himanshu Singh's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
Oh... Now I can understand, how biggies get more number of additions without competitive tariffs (via fake activations) and keeping their network congestion-free (by getting more spectrum as they showed more subscribers count)... -
Posted on their Facebook wall... Following them on twitter.... Hope something good may happen then...

Vodafone Introduces Local & Std Calls @ 1p/s
KanagaDeepan replied to savramesh's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Then how can they reach their target of 20 Cr within 2012 Only in their dreams, if they dont match reliance-simple or 1p/sec tariff... -
Celebration Plan Prepaid
KanagaDeepan replied to hritik123's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
No doubt... Simply Reliance is the best tariff in INDIA, or atleast by now... Tata should atleast give tariff @ 50p, as they cant give roam @ 50p... Or 30p onnet and 60p offnet, to retain its old and to gain new customers.... -
Yes now a days China mobiles comes with valid IMEI number, dont know how but they have valid IMEI numbers These cheap (NOT in RATE, BUT in QUALITY) CHINESE handsets are nowadays using non-allotted new IMEI numbers... So they are looking like VALID IMEI phones... These phones are not at all controlled by International bodies, like FCC, etc for even SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) rating verification... Further in CHINA, these phone manufacturing is like COTTAGE industry ... Or in simpler terms, these CHINESE people, just get cheap parts and assemble them and sell.... Then how do you think that, they got allotted IMEI numbers, The last check digit of the IMEI number provided by them may be correct for the previous digits.. But that doesnt means that those numbers are correct or (IMPORTANTLY) unique... (Means they may have one UNIQUE/VALID IMEI number for a batch or few hundred phones... For example, the phone purchased by you from TRIVANDRUM and by me in MADURAI may have same IMEI number... But how can we know that???? It is always better to avoid these crappy phones, even if they show valid IMEI numbers... BUT if you are too budget consious, go for it... Because, BAN on CHINESE phones (EVEN THOSE without IMEI) will not come. The deadline of Dec09 is a bloody joke... Our BAABUs are not concerned about security... The ban will be only possible, if only again terrorists attacked and killed few central BABU's.... (Please NOTE:-- NOT YOU or ME....)

Andriod Qwerty Touchscreen Phone On Sprint - Samsung Moment
KanagaDeepan replied to ami1's topic in Samsung
Great keyboard with seperate row for numbers... Nice to hear from Sadikk, it can be used for Tata... Further why our CDMA operators doesnt release these type of phones?? Else they sell for ridiculos PRICE... -
It is very hard to believe that Battery is 1800mAh... My E90's BP-4L is 1500 mAh and is size of tiny mobile phone.. But I have seen CHEAP CHINESE phones with wrong/ridiculous description in battery, such as 8800mAh, 3600mAh,... Is this the same case???

KanagaDeepan replied to gsmsikar's topic in Other handsets
I cant understand... Battery lasting not even a single day, can be considered as LONG LASTING???? May be you tried to say "Battery is NOT long lasting, Not even a single day", right.... I guess so Whether this thing, at least has "Airplane Mode" or "Multimedia mode" (all 3 SIM's network reception turned off) to save battery power while travelling???
