Moto E 2015 LTE XT1526 to work with Reliance CDMA
KanagaDeepan replied to bhoodarmal's topic in Motorola
Using Mumbai 3G sim on Maharashtra Tata's 3G network is NOT ICR.. It is just roaming in partner's 3G network, which is very common.. But whether Maharashtra RCom number is allowed to use Maharashtra Tata's 3G network? This is very important for the people using RCom CDMA in Mah and converted to 4G sim as using 2G for data will be very slow and RCom doesn't have own 3G network in Mah...- 84 replies

Actually no one cares about 2g data during icr. I think he is talking about 3g data on icr. Please check whether you can use 3G data of Tata Docomo in Mah circle, using new Rcom 4g sim.. sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk- 84 replies

Be careful yaar.. I feel the phone's name and your usage has some similarity... -
May be he is talking about 3G coverage of BSNL.. 3G coverage of BSNL is pretty BAD...

I am sure RJio will NOT come with such type of STUPID offers, at least initially, till it gets few crores of customers.. Else it will be ignored as well, like current RCom 4G.. One remote possibility is -- May be RJio is testing waters with RCom, wrt 4G tariffs.. Even though I didn't expect Unlimited or dirt cheap 4G tariffs from Jio, all I am expecting is Rs150/GB 30 days tariff from RJio, which will surely force AVoId to reduce their data tariffs as well, imho...

Are they at least going to honour the existing cdma postpaid plans after the horrible 4g transition? Rcom Prepaid plans are as pathetic as their management.. sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk

Guru Gopal ji is talking about RJio and not Rcom. The speed you are getting is most probably on Rcom 3G, as I have never seen this much slow speed in RJio.. sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk

So better get PORT code now itself and move to other operator to avoid the RCom FAKE 4G Chaos...

4G spectrum used in TN and Delhi are totally different.. In Chennai, Airtel is using just 5MHz of band 3 (1800MHz) spectrum, whereas in Delhi its using 20MHz of band 40 (2300MHz) spectrum. Further Airtel is using 10MHz of band 1 (2100MHz) 3G spectrum in TN, which is twice as other 3G operators there and hence its 3G speed is almost as good as 4G speed.. Please Wait till Airtel get 20MHz of band 40 (2300MHz) from Aircel this month and launch LTE-A with carrier aggregation on both Band 3 and Band 40 spectrum and then check the real 4G speeds. Airtel is using 900MHz 2G in Chennai (but 1800MHz in RoTN) and has soo many users in Chennai. The 3G speed was very pathetic before 2015 auction as they had just 5MHz of 3G spectrum and too many users. They bought second lot of 3G in 2015 auction and then the condition of 3G is better in TN. In my home town Sivakasi, Airtel's 3G is twice faster than Idea's 4G (Idea NOT using OFC backhaul is also one reason).. Moving to Airtel till RJio launches is really a good idea for a Delhi user, imho... -
A better way is asking for sim swap to new series sim [may 2016] where data works without the need to patch. It's much better than banging our head at the useless store guys. sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk

What is the tariff plan after commercial launch ji? Didn't the donor operator opposed it for moving to non commercially launched network? sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk -

TATA CDMA Shutting Down?
KanagaDeepan replied to ti_user's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Tata CDMA closing is discussed only in circles like TN, AP, Mumbai, WB, Bihar, etc circles, where they don't have 3G license. Not in circles like MP, Mah, Guj, etc , where they already have 3G license. May be the rumor that they are going to launch narrow band 3G on 2.5MHz of band 5 [850MHz] CDMA spectrum is true. sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk -

Yes, 246 for 4-5 GB will be a killer plan. Will be beneficial for both operator as well as customers sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk

One option is changing to CDMA RUIM and then apply for 4G SIM. But since RCom has stopped RUIM sale almost everywhere, I think you better port out to some other operator and then after 3 months come back to RGsm, so that you will NOT lose your number...

Yes, I have similar doubts.. Whether call wait, call forward works on Jio Join or not? Whether the "Jio Join" call disconnects when another call comes via 2G on another SIM?? But it can make offnet calls, but NOT so sure...

This is exactly what I am thinking... -
So they have started with Mumbai circle.. but why ONLY HSPA? Why NOT allow upgraded users to use RJio's 4G network at least???
