I have bought one 12 cell oem Battery for my old Acer laptop by GEB ebay (shipped from USA).. It was working great and really had good battery backup (more than twice that of Acer original battery when its new) and costs one third of Acer's 6 cell battery here in India.. So you can go ahead, imho... -

As a frequent traveller, I have used the new irctc... Yes its now faster than earlier like say "IRCTC is upgraded from being a snail to tortoise"... Improvement is nothing compared to the necessity, traffic growth and the money-inflow (considering the irctc charges and not railway ticket fare), imho... -

^^^^^ I may save the Rs150/- by buying T-Mobile Note3 (just like Note2 I am using now) in future at discounted price in the future ... So its a worthy investment imho... Further there is a rumor that current Note2 will be on the same fate after 4.4 KitKat update... Further we have to support those developers who spend their talent and TIME for android community.. This may encourage them... And with Rs150, may be I have just lost the money for buying 1.5 kgs of onions ...

Great marketing idea.... ------------------------------ Got one more news reg M$ buying Nokia for DAMN CHEAP... In 2007 Nokia bought Navteq for 8.1 billion $ In 2013 M$ bought Nokia for 7.16 billion $ This reminds one incident happened in a village called Amathur near our town 15 years back... In Amathur, there was one small theater (some call it as turing talkies or something like that) and once the FILM-BOX got stolen there. Then the owner of the theater paid the amount for FILM-BOX by selling his theater...

^^^^^ But when did HTC priced their phones reasonably in India??? This phone is slightly better than Galaxy Ace Duos C+G in specs (Quad_A5 and NOT Quad_A7 like CanvasHD and other cheap phones) but they have priced it higher than GrandDuos, MegaDuos, S3, Note2, (though none are C+G) etc... May be they are thinking that Indian CDMA users have NIL choice and they have to come to HTC for higher end CDMA phones. Simply, they don't know about Rimweb.

M$ should be proud of their spy Mr Flop Elop... He has done a pretty good job as being a Trojan Horse... He has removed Nokia's Pride, bright Future in the form of MeeGo, other Linux OS for S40 devices, stripped off LUXURY Vertu division, closed many factories & HO, gave pink slips to Symbian developers, and all other possible damages to make NOKIA a CHEAP BUY for M$ (even cheaper than SKYPE) and for comparison sake less than half the amount Google Paid for Motorola Mobility... But NOKIA should have been MAD to NOT feel fishy about the TrojanHorse and keep him till now and they are paying the price NOW... RIP NOKIA... RIP WP... Now HTC and Huawei should look for another OS as alternate to Android as even this tiny WP ship has almost become PRIVATE and NO SINGLE ROOM FOR THEM...

How To Stop OTA Drop Down Menu Ads On Gionee Dream D1?

If the phone is running JellyBean, just press and hold the notification till it shows a pop-up menu (just like right click Menu in PC) and select "App Info" from that menu... There you will be displayed the app which is bringing those annoying notifications... If its NOT looking like anything important (say like System UI, Phone apk etc) or just in Chinese letters, disable it there itself (if the option is available). Else if the Disable option is Greyed out, just make a note of this app and remove or freeze it using Titanium Backup. -

^^^^^ NO.... Ganesan Sir, PLEASE DO NOT TRY... IT WILL NEVER WORK... Its actually for OG Razr XT912, running CM based ROM on another slot using safe-strap recovery... Or simply, in OG Razr XT912, GSM capabilities are allowed after ICS update (I used a patch to use it on GB and later on ICS and JB 4.1 no need for that patch). But for someone who wants latest Android version 4.3 or 4.2, they used to flash CM 10.1/10.2 based ROM (for 4.2/4.3) on another slot (first one is Stock ROM and since OG Razr BootLoader is STILL LOCKED encrypted, people have to use safestrap recovery and flash custom ROM on other slot). Since CM has main focus on CDMA Verizon, I GUESS the GSM capabilities are not unlocked or NOT enabled (to less the confusion) and to enable the same the patch has to be applied and then even call forward will work for GSM numbers too... IT IS CLEARLY NOT FOR Razr M or RazrHD which is completely different from XT912 the OG Droid Razr....
