  2. Reliance GSM Network in Pune & Maharashtra

Dear ami1, we are all talking about 2g rgsm. May be 3g rgsm might be better wrt call clarity (in bsnl also voice clarity is better in 3g mode). So please check rgsm in 2g only mode and then decide... Sent from my Razr MAXX using Tapatalk2
  3. They accept any electronic waste, imho... I have dumped my very old Nokia phones, few dozens of their batteries (mostly swollen), lappy battery, broken chinese phones, two samsung phones (low end), some dozens of headsets, chargers, non-working data cables, few panels, cases, etc... Please go ahead...
  4. Please, Goto nearby Nokia care. I have done that earlier... Sent from my PantechP9070 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Reliance GSM Network in Pune & Maharashtra

  6. Android Updates For Your Phone

Going to service centre for Android OS update ??? Welcome to 1998, dear Micromax .. Further we have to explain those people in service centre (who have been dealing with rebranded Chinese phones ONLY for many years) about Android, JB, ICS, etc... The RCom CC who shed those golden words "CDMA tech is not capable of data usage, only GSM can" is unnecessarily coming to my mind now... We have to wait and see how this setup works...
  7. Whether it will support our Jio's 2.3GHz LTE and unconventional 2.6GHz LTE of BSNL (in future)????
  8. Motorola Droid Razr M (Global)

^^^^^^ Ganesan sir, comparing GNexus battery life with ANY Motorola Phone's battery life is an insult to Motorola, imho... My RazrMAXX gives me 3 days of battery life and I have to charge my GNexus three times a day...
  9. Must Have Android Apps For Your Smartphone - Part II

More the merrier... Competition is good for we users.. Sent from my PantechP9070 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Android - Desktop Softwares - Essentials

^^^^^ Contact, GMail can be backed up by GMail (by default if you have enabled sync)... For backup of SMS and call-log there are good apps in PlayStore. I use "SMS backup & Restore" for backup of my SMS during changing of ROM
  11. Android Mobiles From India

    ^^^^^ Please also add 5" 1080p display vs 5" 720p display...
  12. Android Updates For Your Phone

^^^^^ I have to agree with your point as they promised JB for OG DroidRazrMAXX (Verizon) and 'HALWAH' for (GSM) RazrMAXX international users...
  13. Everything is good except the reactivation of same number after fifteen days from disconnection of the number . It should be again ninety days, imho. It is good for people who has gone abroad as all they need to do is keeping a good balance. Recharging with 200+ Rs the day before they leave is enough for one year. (default 90 days and nine months x Rs20 = Rs180 for a full year) Sent from my Razr MAXX using Tapatalk2
  14. Ubuntu comes to Android

Thanks yogesh ji, I thought of flashing it on my Galaxy Nexus, I think now I have to wait for next release. Plus one to both you and rajan ji... Sent from my Razr MAXX using Tapatalk2
  15. Afaik both MBlaze and MBlaze-Premium (foldable) data cards are unlockable (yes, using CDMA workshop very very simple and straight forward)... While premium has SIM tray, we have to solder a Tray in OG MBlaze.. In latest batch of modems (with updated firmwares), MIN range has to extended so that other network RUIMs will work in it... Thats also a simple job... I have unlocked both modems earlier and will upload that MIN-Range extender when I reach my home by month end.. So MTS data card users of Rimweb, need not worry much... But there may be some rare cases when the SPC is not traceable (rare case only in very latest batches)... Else no need to worry...
  16. Handsets will be the first problem, next is in-building coverage as 2300MHz will be worse than that of 2100MHz 3G... In 3GSM atleast our phones switches to 2G when 3G coverage is scarce or in low in-building coverages, but in VoLTE thats not an option...
  17. Must Have Android Apps For Your Smartphone - Part II

^^^^^^ Yes... That app is useful for browsing via EDGE only.. On WiFi, its NOT at all working... I have to disable the HOLA (in the same app after getting update from PlayStore) so that WiFi starts working...
  18. Android Mobiles From India

^^^^^^ NOT only the performance of CanvasHD will be better than xolo A1000, the battery life will be better in CanvasHD.. Even though the processor in CanvasHD is quad-core, its light on battery as its made using 28nm process/tech like Snapdragon S4 and 40nm in case of xolo... Further Quad-A7 in CanvasHD is less power hungry than Dual-A9...
  19. ^^^^^ Good suggestion Rajan ji... Further friends using MTS, please make only minimum amount of TopUp or data recharges till the completion of auction as a precautionary measure...
  20. Amit ji, you can go for Pantech-Burst too... it has 1GB RAM, ICS, 1.5GHz DualCore snapdragon S3 (like US S2), 4" 800x480 pixels AMOLED screen, 5MPx camera with flash, frontCam, 16GB Internal memory, Unlocked for Rs8650/- and price will further get reduced on applying Coupons... Link HERE
  21. Thanks Rajan ji... First time I have made one international transaction using my cc, all due to your recommendation.. Ordered one each for my Razr, Maxx and GNexus... Thanks... Sent from my Razr MAXX using Tapatalk2
  22. Update Your Sprint Galaxy S III SPH-L710

I think Ankur ji has mistakenly pasted that zip in signature for RimWeb, instead of some-other forum... Infact my wife has beaten me on seeing this web-page now...
  23. Prepaid - Data Packs - 1x/HSD

Rs94/- for 6GB Data + 10p Local/STD SMS for 6 months... Rs99/- 250MB Data for 1 month... Go home RCom, you are drunk...
