I am very very eager to attend and meet fellow RimWebians. The problem is time. Can this be planned for Jan or later? I think I have even shared this same thought in some thread 2 years back, that the gap between planning date to meeting date should be minimum 2 months, so that most people can alter their schedule, dedicate time, even get confirmed train/flight ticket to Mumbai. So that people from far away places can meet, else it will be beneficial for mostly people nearby Mumbai/Maharastra only imho. Also I feel one month is small time for deciding, planning and organizing such once/twice a decade meeting. P.S. :- Multi-City meet will be even more complicated, confusing and difficult to organize esp for DECEMBER meet, imho. For Mumbai event atleast car pooling and some help from friends is possible (from above posts) and reasonable good number of members may attend, but thats not possible for multi-city, imho. If web conference is the idea, that can be done even from the comfort of our home. But the main idea here is meeting many people who we know in Rimweb world in real and exchanging idea, contacts, etc. Just my two cents paise...

I think its a matter of time, the Note2 (especially CDMA one) will get reasonable price. Happened with S3, GNexus before. Now S3 CDMA is selling for 21.5k (by our HP ji) and GNexus-32GB was selling at just 17k few months back, whereas GNexus-16GB-GSM is still selling for 20k (LOWEST price) in eBay. Note2 will get the same fate, but since its much more desirable than anything for many (including me), we are NOT ready to wait till the price drop to reasonable level. I guess atleast CDMA-Note2 may reach 25k mark around Jan/Feb2013, no such luck for GSM Note2 lovers like me. So as always, CDMA phones will be costlier than their GSM counter-part all over the world -- EXCEPT Rimweb.

Well.. I got the bill after the my plan got changed to this 1299 UnLimited plan. Here are my observations:- So Tata_1299Plan + BSNL_RoamFREE_Plan + RazrMAXX is a winning combination for frequent roaming customers... (For high speed data I use EVDO + Verizon Pocket router)

Since the Drama is going well as preplanned, I too now believe MTS is here to stay... But the next fight scene after giving them license will be the climax...

I am NOT talking about Swype that came with Moto or Sammy phones... I am talking about Beta-Swype downloadable from swype website... Its more buggy than Stock 4.2 KB, imho... I first used beta-swype in 4.1.1 and returned back to Stock 4.1 KB (NOT the gesture based new KB)..

So the drama was well played... All actors have done their part very well...

I am using all my paid apps in my GNexus, RazrMAXX, OG_Razr, AinolTab, Ideos at the same time using my personal Google account... Even PlayStore (on PC browser) shows all the above devices associated with my Google account and the apps installed in them.. It is completely legal and highly beneficial to customers where most paid apps are 0.99$ only and even TopApps will get discounted price on special occasions..

Thats why we call them as AirHELL, India's MOST ARROGANT OPERATOR... FREE DIWALI WISHES SMS of other operator is affecting their sh!tty network???? They even can m0lest COAI and TDSAT too... This is the problem, when NO.1 GREEDY company gets too much cash/PROFIT.. They will try all tricks in book to kill competition.. AirHELL is Indian example and Half eaten rotten fruit is International example...

So 16GB WiFi only Nexus7 in India is costlier than 32GB_HSPA+ Nexus7 in US (299$) and even Europe (299 Euro)... I don't know whether Asus (as well as LG) thinks we Indians as fools or they don't want our business??? This is a very good time to capture Indian market from Nokia FULLY, but I don't know why they are NOT taking India seriously???

If you travel a lot, diesel cars are best suited both practically and economically (even considering maintenance high cost, etc)... If you use the car lot less or it sleeps more than 15 days a month (like my case), Petrol cars are best, imho..

I think still now NO PREPAID roaming is allowed in 3 circles, JK, Assam, NE... I think Sikkim comes under RestOfBengal circle along with Andaman & Nicobar islands (not sure)... I checked in JK say two years back, all postpaid numbers were working, whereas NO prepaid numbers were allowed for roaming...

I have enabled pin in all my phones and tab when i saw that option many months back. Further, i don't keep internet on unnecessarily, especially when my baby is playing with my phone.. At the max, she had depleted all powerups bought by (me) in app purchase from angry birds. That's it.. We can't control our kids or keep an eye on them always, but we can control internet and online transactions at our will. That's the only best way for now.
