The deal looks decent (NOT good and NOT too bad) enough, especially since the phone though outdated, is atleast UnLocked.... Looks like a STOCK-CLEARANCE sale for me.... Vodafone and AirHELL may bring matching offer without UnLocking the phone and with a Limited plan (1 or 2GB limited)...

The last time, RCom brought Tab (from ZTE) people have few doubts, whether to get that one as it looks like usable in one way... But this time, sooo many thanks to RCom, we have NO single doubt, this is useless one... Android 2.3 + 512MB RAM + Rs14499/- is a deadly combination for a 2012 Android Tab, especially when Chinese Tabs with half its price are much better and Nexus-7 is around the corner with almost same price....

Hmmm, there are few places Bsnl service is good without a doubt... But are you sure they are giving the same good service u are experiencing throughout the city? QoS is PoS wrt BSNL here in my town... Even Wimax has 2 to 3 days downtime a month.. I am using 35 to 40 GB per month on 512kbps Wimax unlimited plan. Its better than BSNL dataone, which has upto 8 to 10 days downtime a month in my area.. In centre of city near exchange the quality is good. But I am also giving same paise as people living near exchange.. I am not even going to mention about their (linemen) problem solving capacity.. BSNL and AirHELL had a wonderful chance to bring internet revolution in India.. But former is kumbhaKarna who is powerful but always sleeping.. Later is greedy kamsan... These two arrogant giants are responsible for current condition of internet in India... BSNL should concentrate on qos and AirHELL should be less greedy.. Internal 4GB + 8GB memory card.... It is nothing but the same cheap Chinese made tab powered by cheap yet powerful all winner processor A10... Eg: micromax fun book, ainol mars, iBerry, etc... The features list has sooo many clumsy mistakes like: Upgradable to Android 5.0 Amoled Led backlit (false, only LCD) A10 1.6GHz processor (false, its 1GHz oc possible to 1.2GHz) FullHD 3xxx x xxxxx some crazy numbers 4800mAh battery (false, its 3800 mAh battery) Corning gorilla glass (false) Atleast AINOL and other direct Chinese cos are selling telling the truth... With too many fake Infos, its better to avoid such tab, imho... I am using Ainol mars... It is a good tab for the money I have paid.. It came with ics + Chinese bloat... Further its pre rooted, but without Su permission granting app.. So all we have to do is download superuser from play store and device is rooted and then 12+ Chinese bloat can be removed... With 1p/3s = 20p = IUC....!!!!! I wonder how can they offer such tariff for offnet calls? I am sure iuc is calculated in per minute and not based on per second or per call (from earlier post on Rimweb)... May be they are expecting change in (or removal of) IUC in August? @Kumar sir Yes, speed of rgsm edge is good in TN and they throttle it down in circles where they got 3G license.. Even they once throttled down in 2g only circles also to promote their EVDO services.. Then they stopped that mischief as it was not much useful.. And during their film release dates, downloading from file sharing websites is like pain in the donkey... Reg voice clarity issues, that is not only in their new circles, but also in their age old RTL circles too... Considering the condition of their gsm network, they are definitely digging their grave if they are not interested in Cdma services... FIRST Quality standards should be strictly maintained for LANDLINE/ADSL broadband connections only... They are the main reasons for failure of BroadBand in India... BSNL is affordable, but quality is slightly better than sh!t (FROM MY EXPERIENCE, minimum 2 to 5 days downtime and rest of days with service at its worst)... AirHELL service will be good, but costs an arm and leg... MTNL is best, but its limited to just 2 cities... -

NOT even half as good as the plan launched by Docomo in Karnataka... The 899 plan in Karnataka has UnLimited FREE roaming incoming and also OUTGOING FREE (onnet roaming)... Further unLimited FREE Local/STD/Roaming SMS... They should atleast give Roaming-Incoming and SMS FREE... Else I don't think it will be any useful... -
