That is mainly because TataCDMA releases only load-man grade handsets and only saving grace is the decent OMH handsets available in market... But since the JE is from TataOffice, he is forced to use the bl00dy n/w locked loadman grade handsets only.. So it is a no-wonder voice clarity of mogul is better than the handsets he ever used... In this case RCom and even MTS is much better imho...

Too many conditions... Docomo's Rs66 juice-up pack for local/STD 1p/2sec @ Rs66 for THREE months is much much better, imho...

Just got this handset for my wife and after some follow-ups and some bashing of @IndicomTata in twitter, Tata senior people just came to my home with OMH RUIM and activated EV-DO on the same... Also they have activated the 15GB_FREE_data/30Days for two months (Total 30GB FREE in 2 months) Well, for gurus like us, this phone may be too weak, but she loves this more than anything now... Now I need not charge my epic twice a day... Thank GOD... Anyone found a way to root this phone??? I am too busy with my seasonal job to google it... So, Please help me... Thanks friends...

I dont think the above mentioned features are available in branded DualSIM phones.. May be re-branded chinese or original chinese phones may have these features...

A still better and STRAIGHT-FORWARD plan will be giving an iPhone4 to a customer and tie him with a rope and LOOT away his home and everything... That will be much better than these cunning tariff plans...

Dr sir... I heard a rumour that Tata is going to launch its EV-DO service in Raipur, within a month or two.. Paagal Tata, they already have 3GSM service running in Raipur and now going to launch EV-DO to become competitor of themselves... RCom's policy of expanding EV-DO in circles they lost 3G license is best, imho as they can cover data customers in ALL circles... So as a result, no EV-DO from RCom in the near future, imho... But I have NO INFO about MTS launching its EV-DO.. Please share if you have some...

+1 for your courage and efforts... This rude behaviour will kill RCom for sure... It seems RCom has now some policy like "FIX a target to Deduct some balance like Rs30 to Rs50 to some lakhs/million of customers a month... If they complaint till PG portal, return the looted amount, else if the customer gets tired and stopped by running around in circles (almost 99.9999% cases) then we get few crores of daylight-robbery per month easily... All the idea is greatly planned and will be successful for sure... But what they forgot is "THE TIRED CUSTOMERS will surely damage their reputation via speech anti-marketing and will surely blocking their progress in whatever way they can, say like stopping their friends/relatives from getting RCom connections"... All these money_minded-greedy-corporates forgot that "A satisfied customer may bring two new leads max... But a HURTED-CUSTOMER will definitely block their TEN new/potential customers from reaching them MINIMUM"

From what I have understand, Ordinary RUIM has Voice+SMS settings only OMH RUIM has voice+SMS+Data settings also... Ordinary n/w locked phones have DataSettings stored/programmed within them.. OMH handsets DONT have DataSettings stored in them... So internet WONT work in (OMH_phone + Ordinary_RUIM) as both DONT have data settings... So simply, OMH_Phone + OMH_RUIM = Internet_working using OMH_RUIM settings (Phone has no data settings) N/W_Phone + OMH_RUIM = Internet_Working using settings in PHONE and not from OMH_RUIM N/W_Phone + Ord_RUIM = Internet_working using settings in phone (RUIM has no data settings) OMH_Phone + Ord_RUIM = NO_Internet (Both DONT have data settings) Plz correct me, if I am wrong...
