Hmmm... They should atleast bring Android 2.2 phones, so that apps can be moved to SD, imho... Because they usually bring phones with just 128KB (YES KiloBytes) of Internal Memory (Eg GFive E71, etc)... Now guess an android phone with just few MB of PhoneMemory and running Eclair :NOTriste:

In my EPIC, I just use lowest brightness settings in indoor and switch to FULL in direct sunlight (using QuickSettings)... Also I use a PURE-BLACK wallpaper and Black themes in all apps... It saves huge battery power comparing the NOVA/RETINA/SC-LCD, which is the only problem in Android, imho...

Download and use the SWYPE app from AndroidMarket... You won't miss a keyboard then... Else google for its apk file, if you don't have OMH RUIM till now...

Yes... Matrix is the best choice and it has FREE Incoming IR in many countries and it even pays for INCOMING (like virgin here) while roaming in countries like Austria, etc... But in CHINA, you can get SIMs easily.. They are selling SIMs in airport itself, but it is slightly costlier than the same is available in streets... If I remember correctly, my incoming calls are also charged (not much, but still) and I used China-Mobile-GSM... Man, their coverage is THE BEST, not even a single SIGNAL point (out of seven) got reduced when going on the road under the river on Shanghai and also in Second-stage of Great-Wall in Beijing... In Germany, once I bought T-Mobile-D1 prepaid service (incoming FREE, *100# for balance) and FullTT on all recharges (at that time), but still it is better to go for MATRIX ones... Here some service providers like AirHELL-MTV-prepaid also provides IR, but Rs150 for in/out calls and only saving thing is Incoming SMS is FREE.. My friend bought this when he was gone to Sweden, but as usual AirHELL played DIRTY GAME on his number (when he was in SWEDEN) by activating some FREE song-download VAS and asked him to call some bl00dy number (WON'T WORK IN IR) to deactivate it and they started deducting Rs80 per month (upto 3 times)... He has to reach India to stop that bl00dy VAS and so as usual "BEWARE OF AirHELL"...

But I have read somewhere that even ChinaTelecom is NOT OMH complaint... They support RUIMs and NOT OMH... In that case , lets NOT have our hopes too high...

I don't think TataZone pack possible DIRECTLY ... (Even if you go for that complicated method, you will miss access to all Google apps like GMail, Goggles, Market, Talk, Docs, etc...) Instead get OMH RUIM and you can go for HSIA packs for Rs300--1GB, Rs99--250MB...

This handset seems good for my office staffs... The main attraction apart from the cost is the JUMBO battery 1800mAh (Even if it is 1200mAh in REALITY/practically, still it is much more than enough)... Time to upgrade the more than 2 years old Samsung-Raaga handsets... Sorry to disappoint you dosth... OMH) 0.5/5 -Quality of Customer Service 4.0/5 -Depth & Quality of HSIA (High Speed Internet - EVDO) Network & 1x HSIA-Depth :- 1.0/5 HSIA-Quality :- 3.0/5 1x Depth :- 3.0/5 1x Quality :- 3.0/5 So Average :- 2.5/5 -Data Tariffs 3.0/5 -Whether allows Imported Handsets & EVDO Data on it? 0.0/5 -Follows Ethics and NOT cheats??? 5.0/5 -Performance of Retention team ?? 5.0/5 -Special services for corporate customers? 5.0/5 -The Network quality/clarity of their GSM wing, if you want to jump away from their CDMA service(due to their handset policy) ? 5.0/5 I have specified the DEPTH of voice network coverage as 2.5 and DEPTH of 1x coverage as 3.0... On seeing the HIGH ROAMING charges of TI prepaid, I doubted some AirHELL's Trojan attack in another thread... Now my doubt has got confirmed... AirHELL has very criminal ideas to kill competition by sending Trojan Horses to their enemies' castles...

With the quantity of Fascinate ordered by RCom in India (998 units), I doubt iPhone CDMA coming to India...
