Yes, 11k for 3.6Mbps HSDPA modem... Not so worthy, imho.. Hmmm, better to use an android HSPA phone with HotSpot app or even latest S60 phones (E72) with Jaiku-Hotspot app... Will be much better, cheap and fast..

If MNP is implemented, I will be happy.. But if R@ja was thrown away in the process for postponing the MNP, I WILL BE DOUBLE-HAPPY.. I think they took PHOTO-COPY of Tata's tariff sheet and just written their name after striking the name TataIndicom.. Atleast they should have done any of the following changes, to look like their original tariff:- 1) Priced ONE RUPEE lesser than Tata say Rs949/Rs1099/Rs1499 or 2) Giving Rs200 discount for OLD customers also or 3) Giving Rs200 discount for TWO years or 4) Writing the speed as 153.6kbps instead of 153kbps.. Now Video calls rates are revealed... PAY AS YOU GO (MEANS BUNDLED MINUTES-DOESN'T INCLUDES VIDEO CALLS)... Just 5p/sec for on-net(Rs3/min) and off-net charges not yet revealed... FYKI MTNL charges just just 1p/2sec for Local/STD on-net video calls.. Even Docomo is charging 5p/sec for ILD calls to US/Canada in some circles... At first, I missed Docomo 3G a lot in TN.. But now, there will be not much difference even if they are present in TN, imho... For the time being, BSNL/MTNL-3G is best.. Atleast they are available all over India and don't have any FUP in their UnLimited plans.. But I still have doubts on BSNL.. They may increase their 3G tariffs, once they are br!bed by pvt operators and we can expect BSNL will repeat the drama it played in PayPerSecond plan, where BSNL initially charged 1p/sec for offnet also and after released their PayPerSecond tariff with 1.2p/sec offnet, BSNL also changed to 1.2p/sec for off-net.. So for enjoying cheap 3G from now itself, better to get Rs1359 Unlimited postpaid plan from BSNL.. (That Rs4200/6 months is available in prepaid only) Simply put, 3G is NOT for everyone and we may need to wait for one year minimum to enjoy reasonable 3G tariffs.. Till then 1x and EDGE is the way to go, imho...

Hmmm... If they say half of the number of SIMs activated in our country are FAKE, then we can atleast believe that small lie... But saying "Half Of Country’s Mobile Customers Use Internet, Data Service On Phones" is nothing but a joke.. May be they have included SMS, as part of data services..

Adding soo many conditions @ launching an offer is different... But launching a good offer with NO special conditions and later add one by one every month and make it too complicated AND THAT TOO WITHOUT INFORMING THE CHANGES TO CUSTOMER BY ANY MEANS, is almost cheating, imho.. Atleast they have to inform this by SMS, when we activate this pack.. NOTHING WAS DONE.. If RCom launched the offer as say "@ Rs88/- first-Local R2R-call and first STD-R2R call will be chargeable @ default and later as 20p/min and this facility is NOT APPLICABLE IN ROAMING" means OK.. We will say the offer is NOT that tempting and we will move on.. But they have launched the offer as simple as "@ Rs77/- ALL Local/STD/Roaming R2R calls @ 20p/min" for first few months (I have used this STV earlier), then add "First R2R CALL @ default" condition after 3 months.. Then add "NOT VALID IN ROAMING" condition after another 3 months(After addition of this condition, I stopped using this STV).. Again add "First Local R2R and first STD R2R @ defaults" after 2 months... (ALL THESE CHANGES, OF-COURSE WITHOUT ANY ANNOUNCEMENT) Then how one can have faith in them??? What is wrong, if we call them playing foul game??

I hope, the details of this mobile is not posted earlier.. Even I dont know whether this is TRUE or NOT.. But pics dont lie, imho.. This is getting ridiculous – safety-razor level of ridiculous. It started of with one razor blade, uh sorry, SIM card, then came dual-SIM, then triple SIM and now this. Check the photos below – 4 SIM cards , 4 signal strength indicators OTECH F1 phone has Quad SIM support, probably glows in the dark. Four – count them! – four SIM cards, all of them active.. Oh, and there’s a built-in TV receiver. FM Radio and Bluetooth are also available but it seems there’s only GPRS for Internet connectivity (shame, quad-3G would have been fast). Look closely at the back – do you see the label next to the camera? Yep, it says “12.1”... May be "12.1-GIGA-Pixel camera " I only wonder one thing really – have they got a SAR rating for this thing? That is the main problem with TataIndicom... They have about 5 models in around 1000Rs mark, Have some ten models in sub 6k mark, and three models in above 20k segment (though NOT AT ALL WORTH the money).. BUT THEY HAVE ZERO HANDSETS IN RANGE OF 8000 to 18000 range..

VERY TRUE... Mine is also a corporate connection.. Like your case, initially they tried something and got NO results.. Later Hitesh ji and Sumit bhai helped me and LUCKILY my BB got activated permanently.. I was among the few, who got corporate connections when TI reached my town, many years back.. Again I will be among the first few, who are leaving Indicom in my town after MNP..

Very nice to hear this Kesav ji... May be Obama's visit to India also a reason for this super fast security clearance.. Then when will we south and east zone people can expect MNP in our circles???

What I dont like is, the way they are limiting the speeds... ONLY 3.6Mbps speed till Rs1250.. Also the minimum charge of Rs500 will limit many people to go for it, imho.. Further 15GB FUP for 21.1Mbps connection is and the speed after that 15GB is :rofl_200: 128kbps, atleast that slow speed should be UMTS standard like 384kbps, imho.. Otherwise voice tariffs are good, especially as they have now included ROAMING calls also in FREE MINUTES OF USAGE .. The Rs750 plan with 1250 minutes and 500MB FREE data, will be suitable for my usage on my E90..

I will move to Docomo after MNP from Tata Indicom...

Well.. I thought that first R2R call is charged by default only.. Now they are charging default for FIRST LOCAL R2R and again for FIRST STD R2R call... That means TWICE A DAY, THEY ARE CHARGING BY DEFAULT TARIFF FOR R2R calls... Thanks brother for notifying this.. Please write this also in the famous "RCOM showing its TRUE FACE thread" here

Now Docomo has reduced that STV (JuiceUp-Pack) cost from Rs77 to Rs66/- Further the LocalMobiles @ 1p/2sec juiceUp cost was reduced from Rs119 to Rs89 (THREE MONTHS validity)

Mostly those codes are valid for ONE day only... So check with the date it was sent.. May be the code may not be valid, when you received..

I got update to this info from @Tatadocomo from twitter, that after the FREE 100MB data on 3G, you will be charged as per 2G tariff till the seventh day.. If you are using 2G pack, you can get 2GB for Rs49 also... But they also accepted that, 3G data charges will be more than current 2G charges after the seven days offer period...
