But Bhai please think about the security issues too.. Earlier there was some voices from established phone-makers against ChinesePhones' lack of IMEI.. No sir.. RCom charges Rs9.19/min for calls to RestOfEurope (other than UK, imho) only in home as well as roaming.. The call charge to UK (especially UK LandLines are cheaper) are slightly cheaper imho, but NOT sure as I have not called any UK number.. Most operators charge UK_Landlines same as that of calls to US/Canada.. Even TataIndicom, which is LEAST favorable in ISD calls charges calls to UK @ just Rs7.2/min... Anurag Ji... First check out the MTNL charges.. MTNL has heavily reduced ISD call charges few weeks back...

When I first saw MTS starting CDMA services, I thought how can they survive the competition of Tata and Ambani.. Especially their logo gave me an instant laugh.. But now, they are making Tata and RCom to follow them... First the Instant Balance by SMS, then Unlimited EV-DO, now extensive EV-DO coverage, Enabling EV-DO on imported handsets later...

I am using it (for postpaid) with my BB.. So with BlackOutDays, RCom SMS offers may NOT be as cheap/useful as earlier...

Yes.. Reg. Photon+, there is only Coimbatore covered in ROTN circle, NOT EVEN MADURAI COVERED by Tata But MTS is SO FAST in increasing EV-DO coverage.. It covers Madurai and few other cities in RoTN along with Coimbatore.. So I am planning to move to MTS due to this VERY reason... Wake up Ambani and Tata.. Don't lose to a foreign player and DON'T CONCENTRATE JUST ON GSM.. DON'T take we CDMA users as granted...

But if you think iPhone4 and Incredible are similar, then just avoid buying iPhone4 and get Incredible from here (at almost half the money you need to spend for iPhone4)... Believe me.. Incredible doesn't need to have a c0nd0m around it, to get FULL STRENGTH of signal .. Whereas iPhone4 without a rubber around, DROPS your calls..

I guess it is another tharik pe tharik thingy, just like in MNP... Almost all private operators are NOT following radiation norms... If DoT is really going to be strict, then we are going to get BAD in-bulding coverage, call drops, etc... Then almost all pvt operators have to stop PPS tariffs..

Because many users' CDMA handsets are lower end only and giving better tariff for browsing on mobile vs tethering/USB-Modem will bring small load to network imho... Simply put USB-Modems and 1x tethering (USB) cables for low-end mobiles with 1x are easily available, when comparing high-end handsets worth browsing on mobile.. Further this may boost their official high-end handset sales too a little.. Similarly, Tata has introduced nice offer for HSIA (EV-DO) browsing on handset like Corby, even better than Photon+ and MBlaze offers... Same Reason... With 1x possible in foreign handsets , these types of offers are boon for we Rimweb members... Wait till MTS offering EV-DO on foreign handsets, many friends are using here and the CDMA story will be different then...

Who knows, maybe they are testing 3G illegelly...

This is actually cheating the customers... Earlier I once had such experience in Vodafone.. Even now Airtel is daily sending SMS to my moms number saying FULL-TT on Rs50 EXCLUSIVE FOR YOU... With Ex-Airtel guys in RCom, this cheating is expected.. PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE SUCH EXCLUSIVE FOR YOU OFFERS WHILE CHECKING BALANCE IN USSD--- Later you will be cheated and you can't even prove CC about that offer.. Thatz why nowadays, I never believe such offers via SMS and always go with regular FullTT recharges like Rs200..

Please dont compare Rcom with Idea.. Still now, RCom is NOT as evil as Idea .. Can you guess why Idea giving this offer in Delhi and NOT in Mah or MP+CG??? Atleast RCom's most FullTT offers are also applicable in its old circles too...

No Ramesh Ji... They won't increase tariff openly.. They will increase tariff unexpectedly, just like they have done with R2R 20p scheme, SimplePPC, decreasing tariff validity, increasing 1p SMS voucher cost, etc... To be Simple, TARIFF INCREASE will never be SIMPLE and straight-forward .. It will be done with some complications or to be precise, CUNNINGLY... All of course due to the Airtel guys in the RCom camp...

BSNL is so special.. I expected BSNL to be better after launch of 3G as high end users will be shifted to 3G and 2G services will be better.. But still now IT IS VERY VERY BAD in TN and in NAGPUR... It was sooo POOOR that I changed my 6 years old BSNL number(s) to Prepaid now...

Wow.. 1000mbps net access by BSNL... What is FUP??? 2GB or 4GB??? After that the speed will be 256kbps... Let them first give 2Mbps BB without a flaw and GOOD SERVICE...
