Thanks KShah Ji... If that is the case, then EVDO is definitely better than 3G with better indoor coverage and availability (EVDO thru USB data cards are available from all CDMA players now, but only BSNL is available for 3G now)..

Is it TRUE that the download speed of EVDO reduces drastically, if few (say upto 10) users are downloading (means ALL trying to download heavy files or movies) using signals from the SAME tower??? Gurus please explain whether this is TRUE or a mere hype...

Docomo is giving new offers day by day.. But beyond a point they are a bit confusing, say calculating/checking calls @ 1.33p/sec or 0.66p/sec (I remember we are blaming Airtel for that silly 1.2p/sec NON-SIMPLE per second plan once..)

Get one BB8830 from Hitesh Bhai or Muffy or dkaile sirs... You can use them for GSM BIS/BES without a trouble..

Yes, VERY TRUE... BSNL/MTNL are used as THIRD MEN here...

One thing for sure, there will be less signal strength issues in Chinese handsets (and rebranded ones), as they DON'T respect SAR rating guidelines.. The antennas are too powerful to catch even weakest signals and also to BURN your ears on heavy usage..

I want even Aircel to get out from COAI and join hands with RGsm and Docomo.. (Remember Docomo+RGsm+Aircel can form PAN-India 3G presence..)

Unless the operators are fined heavily for about Rs10Crore for EACH DAY, they missed the new dead-line, MNP will never come... Penalty for non-implementation are the only way and hearing lame excuses are NOT at all a solution..

Don't worry friends, our beloved RCom also has got 3G spectrum in Metros... So it will start a price war in 3G there.. (If RCom <who paid relatively low spectrum fees comparing Airtel/Vodafone> didn't do so initially and follow the same steps as Airtel, then no body will take their 3G connection considering their pathetic GSM network and THEN RCom will start 3G tariff war, as it has done on 2G-voice and SMS on Airtel)

I have checked the "CURRENCY CONVERTER" thingy.. It is A FAKE one, just emitting blue light and not the one which shows hidden shining spots in the 500 rupees note..

I have a friend in Sweden and I used to talk to him once a week for ten minutes, using either my TATA postpaid number (Rs12/min) or RGsm (Rs9.19/min).. Both Tata and Ambani are kind enough to charge the same during roaming too.. Now I am looking for other options (PREPAID preferred) for reduced ISD call charge to Sweden, either as default tariff or using Booster card.. It is OK for me, if tariff is less only in Home circle Further I am NOT happy with skype. My friend is using Telenor of Sweden, but I have NOT seen Uninor offering low ISD calls to its customers in Sweden or am I missing something??? Please help me friends...

At least with regarding to CDMA technology, Chinese vendors are more interested than western equip makers.. This ban actually affects CDMA guys more, so even doubt arises over the GSM Cartel, behind this issue ..

2GHz processor, 1080p video, 10 MegaPixel camera beats my new netbook and old Laptop easily... But what about battery power, my netbook runs for 6.5 hours on its battery and my laptop for 2.5 hours..

Nothing like this can be expected from KumbhaKarna BSNL...

Imho, since Rimweb is becoming big and heart of CDMA operators are becoming small day by day, more and more Buy/Sell topics are expected.. Many new buy/sell topics are expected until cdma operators started giving feature-rich (OMH if possible) handsets @ reasonable prices, which is NOT going to happen in near future, imho.. But charging 3k for phone configuration is too much of course..
