Hello everyone Here is the step by step process to update you Samsung Epic SPH D -710 to latest and soon to be official OTA GB27 Put your phone in download mode using the power button plus volume down button. One a screen comes up then press the power up button so that the download mode can be activated on the device. Just ensure that there is 30% or above battery remaining on the device so that it does not power off during the flashing. As easy as that. You are good to go then. Ummm, I spoke to a person over here. He said hes going to open the phone and take a look if it fits or not. If it does not fit then he will give me the broken diplay on the phone. So gotta use with that. *Fingers Crossed*

The phone was working fine untill i dropped it and the glass took a crack. Now what i want to know is will the GSM verison of this phone (I9300) fit the display of the Sprint version of this phone? The touch works fine. It is just the glass that has broken. Will the display of the GSM Version I9300 fit SPH L710 version. Cause I can get the screen only for the I9300 over here. Nope dont go for Palm Pixi Plus. You should go for Epic but its a slider phone. You should get one around at that price.

You guys have to really check out this ROM. PARANOIDANDROID 2.54 4.1.2Its a Rom which has a tablet interface Very unique feature. and beleive me its a FANTASTIC ROM! You guys should definitely flash it. Its very very customizable. Download This first. http://d-h.st/Bc5 Then download the gapps for JB. http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip Place on your internal SD card. That is internal Storage. First off make sure you guys are ROOTED and are on ClockWord Mod Recovery (Otherwise knows as CWM). If you are on TWRP. No issues. Just download Rom manager from the Playstore and then select Flash clockword mod Recovery. Now once you are there,take a Nandroid backup if needed. Once done. Wipe data,Wipe cache,Advanced>Wipe Dalvik cache. Now select install zip from sdcard>select skz_tenderloin-1.13_jb-18FEB2013-170320 Let it flash. Once you get the successful message. Then Flash the gapps-jb-20121011-signed. Let it complete. The first boot may show a black screen after the boot logo. Give it a min. As long as your hard key lights are on, it should boot.. Once it boots up. Enjoy the Paranoid Experince on the Sprint S3! Check out the battery stats for my use on first discharge. Although i had to transfer some files connected to PC for about half an hour so 10% charge in increase. Check it out. Let me know if you guys need any help.

Those who want to flash to EL29 Gingerbread Follow this Process : Download This file http://little-melon.com/sfhub/SPH-D710.EL29_CL852097_ROOTED-oc-sfx.exe Extract it on your desktop,then open the file,then put your phone in download mode (By Pressing power down+power button untill you get a mnenu saying press Volume up button to continue or press down to restart. At this moment Press up button and then connect the phone to pc) Then Click on Start button. Let the process finish Takes about 5-6 minutes. Once its booted you are good to go.. You are on STOCK EL29. That is ROOTED GINGERBREAD for the Epic touch. Has the best abttery backup and verry fast and smooth compared to ICS/JB.

And can I flash a rom of any base? That is can I flash a MA6 deodexed Rom (From CWM or TWRP as required) running MA4 System????

Where in build.prop do I put this? and also I am not able to find the #ro.config.hwft_MatchNum in the build prop of S3..
