I too experienced the same problem while installing my 6230 mobile, the problem i identified is with the firmware drivers which are off late i.e., of some where around 2003 which was being supplied by the cable and by the reliance website, whereas the updated drivers & patch are with the service people and they're installing with ease. I too will test with drivers of 6130.... thanx for the information

Iam facing a strange problem with my MP3 player, when i play songs it plays for some time and with hissing sound stops sound output, i checked disconnecting head phones but, there is no out put from even speaker phone. I thought the problem is with SD card and i replaced with new one and also checked without SD card but even the default mp3 songs came along with phone were also not working. Normal ringtones are heard fine. SOme time i observed this problem persists when i pass in and around exposure to stong electro magnetic induction as passing below HT electrical lines, near transformers etc., Have any body experienced these problem? I approached service center and they said that at first they'll replace software, later speaker and finally mother board if not rectified at each stage. Pls. help me with any solution. The problem is i have to back up all my data....

May be those guys are from any reliance outlets/WW/WWE from where you're obtaining new numbers, what might happened is (assumption only) you may have visited with your girlfriend to their outlet and later on they might have obtained the handset sl.no. and every time when u are changing the number they can easily get your new number using the sl. no. of your handset. That may be one of the reasons how the number is being revealed. Why not try to change the H/S and a new number from a different place than the usual place where you get new connection???

U can rrequest SDCA change after u submit ur documents. SDCA change is free. Drop me SMS ill get back to u. But how is it possible that in order to submit the documents at WWE/WW originally our proof of ID/address proof's should be of Mumbai circle? later on only once the documents are submitted and entered into the system, we can change SDCA. But Munnabhai i understand that your real intention/motive is to obtain the dealer/Distributor specific promotional schemes on activations and not the induced sale on handsets to postpaid am i right? If you want to sell the unprovisioned handsets to postpaid what is the need of activating the same with prepaid GSKs and again offering others to unprovision it with your own expense of GSK and HCC. dont think otherwise..........

The logic behind this is they are giving the promotional balance to let the customer stay behind with them and as one of our friends have given their idea of changing number to old handset and selling it off for making profit, likewise to avoid such things reliance has induced lock-in period. But if any way we want to transfer this number into another hand set make a recharge for lifetime rcv say 79 or 90 BUT BEWARE all the promotional balance will be lost and you can do a HCC on this set. I have followed this procedure and am successful in changing the number better try your luck with your OWN RISK, but if you are successful at least you'll be happy as you have changed your handset in lieu of your promotional balance and if not your promotional balance will be lost and you would be struck with the same stinking old hand set. ITS UPTO YOU GUYS.

Yeah i too faced the same problem when i upgraded from 5130 to 6230. Alternatively you can visit any LG service center and request to exchange the data they will charge 75-100 rupees.

He might have complained about his missing bike to the control room at the first instance and that it self will have to be compulsarily be recorded for an FIR. Here in Vijayawada every call to control room (100 Service) is being monitored by the Higher officials (Commissioner and above)on daily basis, Quarterly, Fortnight & Montly basis which indirectly bound them to compulsarily act on behalf of complaintee. Hai everybody, the persons mobile is an prepaid connection and not an postpaid connection.

I also enquired at a WW and got the correct/ complete picture regarding price of 5430. The ones available now are pre programmed with free talktime of Rs.2006 (for calls to any network, not just rim-rim) and come at a price of Rs.4299/- so effective price is only Rs.2293. So, amitnk, you could actually try to bargain with any retailer for giving it to you at a discount and without any free talktime. I don't know whether this is feasible but you could atleast give it a try! NO it is not feasible to remove this scheme from the hand set as it is preprogrammed to a particular set. But even handsets without numbers are available at a price tag of 3700-3800 at WW. The only problem is that we should check at right source.

Quite little often we get into certain circumstances as mentioned. Ethically as of the nature of job or of Mr. Mohanty, just thinks that interviews should be attended personally and should not be done on phone (unless the company desires so). I dont think this will be materialised before March'06, as there will lobbying by other operators(excluding BSNL,MTNL), as already their earnings are too low when compared to the operators abroad. Also this would only mean a booby trap to the customers wherein there is a chance of the local rates in terms of pulse, to be reduced say 60 sec pulse to local as well as 'India one' & naturally we are the only ultimate losers.
