See this Post Then Put airtelgprs.com as ur APN See Post Below Recharge with Rs 89, Tel cc that u have Nokia E63 and ask them to activate ur gprs and ur done..

Just call customer care and tell them that u tried sending sms "All" to 55100, but u havent got the settings.. hence pls activate gprs on ur number, And tel them ur handset is Nokia E63, ( dont tel them u have BB 8830), and they will activate the gprs on ur number ... then in ur handset APN setting put rcomnet save exit and ur done... There is Monthly Plan (auto renewal) Rs. 99/-(300MB)http://www.rcom.co.in/ Also you have to go into rworld on ur handset and chose ur plan to get it activated .. if rworld is not reponding properly on ur handset then again call CC and tell the that u have Nokia E63.. and get ur desired plan activated.

Great tool but can I do this on my BB too..if not then I m looking for same kind of solution for my BB...

Thanx dr. for ur reply, my concerns r When I am on roaming, I carry my BB for obvious reasons..(For its portability) and do not carry my laptop..along.. For the simple reason..(Again Portability).. Now If I want to carry my laptop.. Then why shud I carry my BB.., (just to reload the service books) , I know its a catch 22 setuation for me.... That's why I want to get it resolved... There are good chances that a good number of people out there might be looking for solution for this Regards

well very sorry, I dont agree with above I have used Nokia, LG, Spice, Karbonn In service LG is best , spice is good, dont know karbonn but Nokia is worst In quality LG is better than nokia and karbonn and spice is also better than nokia. Nokia is very old and eshtablished brand with high penetration in remote place so naturally it has created brand value. Well i disagree.. just imagine.. if u get 1GHz processor.. 1GB system ram Option of loading Android/Windows or Both works same time.. along with touch screen with qwetrly keypad,mega pixel camera QUAD band Dual Screen EVDO/3G fone for few thousends... would u say no.. i wil update the link soon...

Why cant experts contribute a .jad file which should be a OTA and should contain all the famous service books so that ppl can save it on medi card and whenever required they can be called from Media card. 2. can't we simulate push/pull service book from some blog or forum.. where where we hve all the required books.. If my ideas sound weird.. pls forgive me .. i m just a novice,,.. Regards

Hey guys,..Someone tel me... Wht if I some way I go to the folder where service books are kept in the device.. And then copy and keep a zip folder of sevice book in that folder.. And whenever required then just unzip the files from the folder there itself and I'm done....is it possible...?

Hi All, I have successfully enabled gprs and BB Browser via Ashoksoft’s this post http://www.rimweb.in...view-and-hacks/ But every time i swap another sim.. Then i have to re-load service books again through "legacy Restore" mode, though i can surf through opera 4.2 and bolt 1.6 and can do teether via PC.. But i cant see and use BB Browser until i Reload service books. I am Using Windows XP SP Desktop Manager 4.7 BB 8830 With 4.5.135 Help required.. As i do Swap my sim's as per my roaming requirements. Thanx Dr. for ur reply I did restore via desktop manager, but still cant see bb browser. I couldn't do the legacy restore as i cant type anything in service book option.. although i tried caps on + SEBE, I already have two entries in service book > Wap Push Config and Email[CMIME]

After uninstalling Opera Mini 5.0 Beta Problem 01. my BB Browser is gone, can’t download anything OTA. although my opera mini and bolt are working fine. Problem 02. When I am surfing via gprs I can’t make calls, it says (Authorization failed)(Sometimes even after closing my browser, it works only after battery pull) but I can receive calls. No, becoz it will not change your pin, which is require for BIS/BES. Currently there is no solution for changing PIN in BB. This is only official rom for reliance user. in my post i have clearly written no hacks cracks here. Does it make any diff if I install the this official release on my Sprint BB8830 from Sadik ji. Will there be any specific enhancement or major difference from my existing Sprint 4.5.0.175 to Reliance. Anything country or carrier specific applications in this Reliance release or will it be possible to use reliance mobile world. Regards Nothing gr8, its just a official ROM. No extra goodies. you can try and post your findings here, i have not tried on my bb8830 as it is official bb from reliance. i have done update on my friends mobile. Guys post ur experience for this rom ..does that mean no cracking required to enable gprs on handset..?

Hi Anurag, i just got one sprint BB8830 with OS4.5, surprisingly *311 is not connecting but call waiting is activated in default, though i cannot find anywhere the setting to activate or deactivate on phone.. but when i tried to call customer care from my BB and then called my BB from another reliance CDMA number its was showing incoming call but NO BEEP or Tone.
