Karnataka Circle RCDMA users if your RCDMA Network is switched-off and you already have RCom 4G SIM and any GSM Handset, Don't Panic! insert your RGSM 4G SIM in any 4G/3G/2G handset select Reliance 2G in Network-search [there is no RCom 3G & 4G is not Live yet!] the SIM will get registered. if Reliance 2G signal is poor, select Tata Docomo 2G (if available) and the SIM will get registered if you are not happy with RGSM & feel betrayed by RCom, SMS keyword: Port to 1900 to generate UPC and MNP to any operator of your choice, MNP will be available only upto 16-August-2016 as per Public Notice put up at RCom web site. after 16-Aug-2016, MNP request will not be entertained for RCDMA-RGSM4G migrated customers for 90 days! switch to RJio for True 4G! best wishes

4G signal may be available & you can also latch on to LTE Network! However, can you access 4G Data without SMS keyword: Start to 1925?

Till you receive SMS from RCom stating 4G is Live at your location - you can't access 4G Data, it will be either 2G/3G only, even if your Network-search shows Reliance 4G! The validity of 2G Data [1 GB] is 30 days only from the day CDMA-GSM migration is done on your MDN. The validity of 4G Data [10GB-1GB=9GB] is 30 days only from the day you SMS keyword: Start to 1925. So, one should send the SMS only after he/she receives SMS from RCom stating that 4G is Live at their location! otherwise the 4G Data validity may expire before 4G is available! this is the "Trick" played by RCom and they are legally right! to experience True 4G - Jio to Liyo! best wishes

Karnataka circle I had recharged with Rs.1/- via PayTm after registering the 4G SIM collected from RCom Mobile store at my location. on the day CDMA-GSM migration was done at my location, 1GB 2G data (1024MB) was credited with validity of 30 days [to check Data balance SMS keyword: MBAL to 55333]. the moment one sends SMS keyword: Start to 1925 the remaing 9GB is credited under 2G Data with the same 30 day validity [at present my balance is 10239.93]. unfortunately, at my location RCom 4G is not ready yet!. checked with RCom 4G SIM in Lyf Flame 2. so my 10GB will expire beform 4G network is ready! following points may be noted: Ensure that, your handset supports 850MHz LTE (Band 5) for RCom 4G. Don't SMS keyword: Start to 1925 unless you receive SMS from RCom that 4G is ready at your location [even if Reliance 4G appears in network search] There is no VoLTE support in RCom 4G, for Voice & SMS it will be Circuit Switch Fallback to pathetic 2G/3G Network 4G Liyo to Jio best wishes

Karnataka circle RCom CDMA-GSM migration seems to be completed at my location. I am not interested in RCom 4G (Data) but keen to use my MDN 934xxxxxxx in GSM only mode (2G) for Voice & SMS. However, RGSM signal is fluctuating indoors (my residence) & most of the times there will be either no-Signal OR 1-2 Signal-bars! since this morning (17-July-2016), i have noticed that, whenever RGSM signal drops to zero, it switches to Tata Docomo (R appears above Signal-bars) with full Signal (5 bars)! I presume that, Tata Docomo is the Roaming partner of RGSM in Karnataka. however, the network reverts back to RGSM whenever 1-2 Signal-bar is available. To avoid this Auto-switchover, I have manually set Tata-Docomo in Network selection. my Question: Since i have manually set Tata Docomo in Network selection for my RGSM MDN, will I incurr roaming charges in Karnataka (for Voice & SMS)? thanks & regards

Karnataka Circle Current Status of my MDN 934xxxxxxx is: Active LTE4G_Prepaid as per http://myservices.relianceada.com/ No incoming Call OR SMS. Caller to my number 934xxxxxxx hears, "Please check the number you have dialled"! Outgoing calls seem to work! No response from corporatecentre.customercare@relianceada.com so far! InstaCare App/My Account/My Balance shows detailed balance: Promo Voice: 2Hr.30Min. (Val: 30days); R2R Calls: 720Hr. 0Min. (Val 30days); 2G Data; 1GB (Val 30days) [no RCom 3G in Karnataka & I have not activated 4G] RJio is the only hope!

Karnataka Circle, No outgoing / Incoming Call OR SMS on CDMA RUIM since yesterday 8.45AM. Caller to my number 934xxxxxxx hears, "Please check the number you have dialled"! Inserted the 4G SIM in my Infocus M2 4G, no Network! same situation as earlier. Raised Service request at http://myservices.relianceada.com/ and sent e-mail to corporatecentre.customercare@relianceada.com waiting for response! RJio is the only hope for faithful CDMA community!

I meant Normal Aadhar-card, which is accepted by all Telecom Operator as ID & Address proof for new connection, not sure about E-Aadhar! Operators have their own set of rules, though the Govt. may declare otherwise! best wishes -

Update: Inserted Airtel 3G in SIM-slot 2 and Enabled Data, Voice & SMS for SIM2, App-icons & images load perfectly in Google Play store. Conclusion: seems like Reliance Lyf Wind4 is alright. could be RJio Network issue! Contacted Jio Care via E-mail, no reply! Similar problem has been reported from South Africa (Vodacom 3G Network) at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1557482 thanks & regards

Ref.: Reliance Lyf Wind4 In Google Play store, most of the App-icons & images do not load at all! Tried Device Software update to "Latest". Google Play store & Google Play Service Apps Uninstalled & Reinstalled - No improvement. Further, Factory-Reset of the device also performed - Problem persists! However, App-icons & images load perfectly when Lyf Wind4 is connected to a WiFi Hotspot (BSNL Broadband WiFi Router). Any solution, RIM Gurus? thanks & regards

Hi, is there a budget Dual-SIM Feature-phone [no Touch Pls.] which would support RJIO / RCom 4G LTE Bands (2300/1800/850 MHz) & 3G/2G Fallback? this is for my mother who is on RCom CDMA and is uncomfortable with Touch-screen mobiles! thanks & regards

In RCom CDMA, I regularly activate SMS Pack Rs.14/- by sending SMS Keyword ACT RC14 to 53739 to avail All SMS at 5Ps. & validity 30 days. you may try the same for Voice / any STV by replacing 14 in the SMS keyword ACT RC14 by appropriate Voice STV pack amount. best wishes

How can I connect Reliance Netconnect via Router?

I have Reliance OMH RUIM with EVDO activated (Rev A). I use it in Unlocked Huawei EC152 Dongle. When the Dongle is connected directly to USB Port of my Desktop PC, the Speed is 1.0Mbps. however, when I connect it to TP-Link WiFi Router (TL-MR3220, V2), the Speed drops to 0.45Mbps on Desktop PC (via LAN) and on mobile (WiFi) when the devices are connected individually. any solutions? thanks & regards -

On 21May2015 (after 2 weeks), i sent a strong e-mail to Motorola-India General Manager Mr. Amit Boni - aboni78@gmail.com - with details of sorry state of Motorola Service at my location, I got the device back on 29May2015 with Motherboard replaced "free-of-cost"! After I received the device, I have sent a feedback to Flipkart CEO Mr. Sachin Bansal - sachin@flipkart.com - to use his clout to impress upon Motorola to strengthen Service Network. Hopefully things will improve! -

Contact Motorola service center. Looks like battery totally totaled.. Contacted Motorola Online Cust Help and was asked to take it to Motorola ASC at my Location. Device was handed over to Motorola ASC on 07May2015 & got it back on 29May2015 with Motherboard replaced! -

Handset: Moto G (XT 1033) 16GB; Android version: 5.0.2; FlipKart Purchase: 02-March-2014 (out of Warranty) Problem: my Moto G has suddenly become "Blank" while on normal use and doesn't respond to Power button. I have tried the following: 1. Pressed & held the Power button for 7-10 seconds, NO Response. 2. Pressed & held the Power Button for a full 120 seconds while connected to a charger (powered up), Only the Notification-LED blinks once after 7-10sec and also after 120 seconds. 3. Device powered off, and unplugged; Pressed & held the Volume-Down button and Power-button for approximately 3 seconds then released, No Response. 4. Connected the Charger For 5Hrs.(powered up) and repeated steps 1,2 & 3 - No response. Pls. advice thanks & regards -
