hello friends.......... about this problem (r-connect works for first 1 or 2 minutes and then goes to a state of dormancy. no data flow after 1 or 2 minutes). it is a network problem of reliance. You are not the only one facing this problem. infact, most of the users of Reliance Phone are victims of this problem. I am myself facing this problem since last 20 days. Reliance Customer Care earlier told that this technical problem is being worked on and would be resolved by 5th September. Now, it says that it would be resolved by 17th September. so, kindly stop blaming your Phone / Data Cable / Windows XP settings. If at all, anything is to be blamed, it is Reliance itself. IMP. ADVICE : Anyone under the Freedom Data Plan, kindly call up customer care and immediately change your plan for the time-being. Because, as such you won't be able to surf internet till this problem is resolved. So, no point paying the fixed rental for internet usage.
