is there any way to record a call ?? any third party java application that can do the job (it must be touch screen capable thats why) ?? urgently needed ...... i tried the voice recorder during call conversation.. but i guess it only records my voice... and the limit of recording is of 5 minutes... so any other better option ??

1. cant find it either.. 2. dont use "photo browser".. its slow coz it loads all the pics on mobile.. instead use "my files" and locate ur folder of interest and the photo sliding (transition effect) will be at normal speed . 3. cant find it.. 4. are u sure ?? i can see all the pics from both phone memory and mem card... u talking about "photo browser" ??

I opened the pc studio.. clicked on "widgets" and then on "internet connector"... its the same msg i get on my mobile when i try to use data service.. i dont know if i should laugh..... MTS is crap in data service field.... dont use MTS if u want to use internet on mobile...

Is there any digital zoom available ?? If YES then how to do that ?? I cant find a way to zoom while taking snaps.. Also its given : "Stereo FM with Auto tune facility of up to 30 stations. Enjoy listening to your favorite music with one touch access. Record your favorite FM songs to micro SD card / phone memory." How to record FM ?? I cant find any option to record .. Am I missing something ??

i have a strange problem.. i send sms in group.. I have created a separate group for that. after pressing the send button, when the msgs are being sent, if after 2 or 3 msg getting sent, i recieve a delivery report , then all the remaining msg (i mean the same msg but to remaining people) dont get sent. i have to cancel the sending operation. than go to outbox and send again the msg to the remaining people.. (i have turned on the receive delivery report option ).. i hope u guys are getting what i m saying...

cant do that also. i got a reply from MTS. they say : "Dear sir, Kindly send us the scanned copy of Times of india (showing date & place) with the complete AD. of this." This is completely idiotic. I already sent them an image file of that ad (downloaded it from telecomtalk.info) in the first mail. Now they want me to prove that they are having such scheme... Rubbish....

corby pro is available in GSM version only till now...

I think you can use "Favorite contact" feature. Its available in widget. Add ur speed dial contacts in that fav. contact list.

I am still usning the memory card that came with the set.. Just removed and inserted it again.. And magic... Battery life increased... Nope.. Havent tried that... Or may be some application or something like that is continuously running from the memory card in background... And once i ejected it, that application closed... And now haven't started till then...

1- You should try to charge phone when battery is completely discharged, it will give good life. 2- NO, dont over charge your battery, it reduces the life. THANX A lot !!!!!

its still running good.. I think the problem is with the damn memory card... Charged it on 22nd jan at night. Still running (lost 2 bars in battery level).. Great yaar.. Now I am happy.... Till now, i was like... "ohh sh*t... what a crap i bought..." but now i now its good... thank god !!!! hey i have a doubt.. its off-topic... 1) should i charge the phone when the battery is completely discharged or should i charge it whenever i get time to charge it ?? 2) also is it ok to leave the mobile on charging for the whole night (i mean should i remove the charging when the cell is completely charged or is it ok leave it on charging after it is fully charged ) ??

Still customer care executives have no update about OMH sim card. I called them again and asked about their free internet usage scheme on purchase of Samsung Corby and OMH sim card. They dont know when such scheme came and what the hell is this OMH sim card. One customer executive even said : "aap mobile pe internet use nahi kar sakte. agar aapko internet use karna hai to MBlaze le lijiye. Aur OMH sim card ki hamare pass koi update nahi hai.".......... Amazing..... I have e-mailed MTS. Hope to get reply from them soon...

well, it may sound stupid... but i should say this as i was complaining a lot about the battery... 2 days back i removed the memory card and reinserted it after few hours (as i gave it to my friend).. Now am now getting good battery backup... i have not charged the phone since i re-inserted the memory card (i.e. 2 days ago and it was approx. fully charged when i removed the memory card......) I know its stupid... :PMay be there some other problem... But knowi think ... there some memory card issue with this phone.. Battery "can" last for 2 days..... can somebody else do the same thing and tell what happens....

wow, gr8 , u kept phone unused for 26hrs without using, and even no miss call no sms screen didn't blink/glow for 10second?? hat's off to u can patience. yup.. removed the sim.. and inserted it in my old phone .. and then kept corby in offline mode ... any doubt ??

ya thats true.. u didnt got my problem bro. i can read sms from the pc studio but i have to import them from mobile.. and if a new msg comes, it doesnt get showed in the messages. i have to import the messages once again and then the new msg gets showed.. i have to import again & again to read new msgs.. and msg manager gets loaded with tons of msgs coz it does not remove the earlier msgs wen i imoprt new ones.. so the earlier msgs gets repeated in the msg manager... i have to manually delete all the msgs from msg manager and then import again so that the same msgs dont gets showed up twice... i hope u r getting what i m trying to say... and ya one more thing... i earlier asked Hetal that do he use his phone or it remain in standby all the time when he said that he is getting 3 days of backup.... i take my words back.... even in standby mode battery cant stand for 3 days... i tried it... compelete standby for one day... but still the battery goes down and have to charge it after 26 hours....

i m feeling like crying......................... very bad yaar.. very bad..... is there any other third party pc suite which supports corby ???
