MTS customer care has no information regarding the launch of this mobile. I have a question. I have a RUIM based MTS connection. If i purchase corby speed, will i be able to just take that RUIM from my old handset and insert it into corby. Or will I have to get a OMH MTS sim ? I read on MTS website that "this handset can only be used with OMH enabled SIM". Are RUIM and OMH enabled SIM different things ?? I am sorry for asking these questions but i cant help it. I am from a small city and neither these new handsets nor any info on them are available here. I want to confirm everything before i order it from some other city.. Thanx in advance guys !!!

i asked for this phone and the shopkeeper said its for 10,300 Rs.. cant wait to buy this mobile but sumone said that samsung will be launching other corby versions in cdma also... it would be great if corby plus gets launched in cdma as it has a slider qwerty keypad also.. but god knows , it can take time. i own MTS so will get it and will enjoy 15GB free usage for 3 months... MTS is offering this superb plan.. 15 GB surfing free for first 3 months (5 GB per month.) some queries :- 1) can group sms can be send from handset itself (no pc studio software required) ?? 2) can sms be transfered to computer ? 3) u got this phone on Dealer Price ?? 4) to take benefit of data plans given by MTS or Tata, do i have to buy this phone from them ? Or i can buy it from market and they will still give me benefits of their data plans ??

by more cellphones do you mean other corby models, like corby pro or corby plus ?

WOW !!!! finally a good cdma handset... i was waiting for this to come.. i will surely grab this one. But i have 2 ques: 1) Is this an Open Market Handset (OMH). I m using MTS. Will this handset work with MTS ? 2) What about other Samsung CDMA handset like Samsung Duo Touch. It is priced at 8.5k and is not having tons of features as seen in corby.. Will other Samsung CDMA handset's prices come down ? Answer for the first question is eagerly awaited.. Please reply asap...

I am not getting this info. I remember once I crossed my 100 free sms limit and lost all my balance. I was so frustrated and I asked customer care executives also. They said their is no way to know, how many free sms are you left with. Are you sure you are getting this information when you check your balance. If yes, can you tell me how its done ??

yup.. Chinese.. that's the only problem with this cell.. One other problem, its not available in India. And i m sure that to order from there (i.e. the website) is "completely" unsafe. If it would be available in India i would have definitely bought it.
