Installing the R Connect Here we discuss how to install your R Connect without any problem. I will give it step by step. 1. Make sure your phone must be unlocked. 2. Change the Baud Rate of the Phone following: As in dot phone case: a. click menu > 2 > 4. and set the DATABAUDRATE to 115,000. b. click menu > 2 > 3. and set the RX CALL MODE to always modem. 3. Connect your phone and computer by the help of cable. 4. Now insert your CD in CD DRIVE and follow the instruction. For more help read following in R CONNECT help file: For this, open your cd drive and double click the RConnectHelp file. here click on Installing R Connect. now click on Installing R Connect Software and select your phone and read the instruction carefully. After this i think u did not have any problem. If any, contact me! This Help file can also be download from here R Connect Help File Uninstalling the R Connect To do this follow following steps: 1. Open Control Panel and Double Click the Phone and Modem icon. At modem tab click on your modem and click on remove. It will uninstall the modem. 2. To delete the R Connect folder, Go to Windows DIR, in my case it is C:\, open the program files folder and delete the RConnect folder from this. U have successfuly uninstall the R Connect. I have a problem in my LG RD 2030. It has speed dial feature. When anybody press 9 for a while, it automatically dial the police control room number i.e. 100. I want to change the number, but found no way to change the number. Please help me to change the number from this particular position. i think this is company default. Thanks in Advance. Take Care.

Congratulation for your PC. I think u taking this topic second time. First time, you answered by the Vishal in a jocking style. Because u ask question so happily. BTW come to the Point: First check the Following thing: 1. Ringht Click on your R Connect Connection Icon and Click on Properties. In new dialog box, Click on the Advance tab. Select the check box which u find here. 2. Click on Control Panel and Double click on Phone and Modem icon. Now click on Modems, Double click on GTRAN USB CDC Modems. In new window click on diagnoses tab and click on Query modem. And write down message which u are getting here if any. If no message then try to uninstall the R Connect from your computer. For this do the following: 1. In Control Panel, remove your modem GTRAN USB CDC Modems. 2. open my computer, searche the program files foleder and in this folder search the R Connect folder. Delete this folder also. restart your computer. After this, install the R Connect Driver again by the CD which come with GTRAN! Tell me your details! Thanks and Take Care!

Now, I am confused! I don't want to use the R Connect in these settings because R Connect is not free at all. I just want to forward the Content of R World from my mobile to the PC by use of Mobile to PC cable. As you say it can be done by some type emulator. Are u have this type package. How can we implement this? Again, I don't want to use the R Connect for this purpose. Thanks and Take Care!

Some thing about the Mobile Technology Four technology Experts were golfing one day, 3 Americans and 1 Japanese. On the 7th green they heard BEEP BEEP BEEP. The 1st American took a pen from his pocket, clicked it twice and said “Hello”. After a short conversation, the man clicked the pen and put it back in his pocket. He beamed to the others that his company was good enough to do away with cell phones and replace it with a cell pen. The others were not terribly not impressed. A few holes later there came another series of BEEPs. The Second American touched the palm of his right hand with the index finger of his left, then extended his thumbs up and his pinky down. He put his hand to his hand and said, “ Hello.” There was another conversation and he said, “BYE”. He made the fist and told the other that his company was to the point of installing the microphone in the pinky and the speaker in the Thumb. The first guy was impressed, the other two unmoved. A couple of Holes later there was another BEEP and the 3rd American held his right hand high in the air and said, “Hello.” After his conversation he lets the others know that he was so progressive he had a mike in his lip, and speaker in his ear, and an antenna in his arm. The other two Americans was very impressed. The Japanese gentleman said nothing. On the final hole there was one more BEEP, followed by a SCREEEECH……. The Japanese man ran to the bushes and disappeared. After a few moments their companions went over to see what was going on. There he was, squatting in the Bushes with his pants around his ankles. Thanks for your support! As u say u run the EDIT program but it is not running properly. Try to do following thing one by one and give me information accordingly. 1. First Run the MS DOS prompt. For this Click on Start > Program > Accessories > and click on Command Prompt. And now run the EDIT command in MS DOS window. Tell it working or not. 2. If it not working than Open the My Computer or Window Explorer and go to Windows\system32 and search the file name edit.com here and Right click on that file, click to Properties. Click the Program Tab and then click Advanced. In the Windows PIF settings dialog box, select the Compatible Timer Hardware Emulation check box. Now go to first step. And check again. 3. If problem not solved than select the Windows\system32 folder again and search a file named config.nt and rename it to config.bak and now copy the following attached file to the same system32 folder. 4. Now search the file named autoexec.nt in the System32 folder and rename it to autoexec.bak and copy the attached file to the system32 folder. 5. Restart the system. And Check the first step once again. Contents of the File Config.nt dos=high, umb device=%SystemRoot%\system32\himem.sys files=40 Copy in notepad and save as Config.nt! and take step 3. Content of File Autoexec.nt @echo off REM AUTOEXEC.BAT is not used to initialize the MS-DOS environment. It may be some minor defect possible, but only if the harddisk is crashed due to electricity failure. Hope, your problem will solved properly by the help of Ashok instructions. Hey Bhutes!
