Installing Of PHP on your Windows XP computer with IIS. Now i found the simple way to install the PHP on your Standalone Computer Running Windows XP To Install the PHP you must install a web server. A web server is software that serves web pages in response to requests from web browsers. A web server is sometimes called an HTTP server. The default name of your web server is the name of your computer. You can change the server name by changing the name of your computer. If your computer has no name, the server uses the word localhost. The server name stands for (or is an alias for) the server’s root folder, which is most likely C:\Inetpub\wwwroot . You can open any web page stored in the root folder by entering the following URL in a browser running on your computer: http://myServerName/myFileName For example, if the server name is localhost and a web page called pert.htm is stored in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ , you can open the page by entering the following URL in a browser running on the local computer: http://localhost/pert.htm You can also open any web page stored in any subfolder of the root folder by specifying the subfolder in the URL. For example, suppose the pert.htm file is stored in a subfolder called pert, as follows: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\pert\pert.htm You can open this page by entering the following URL in a browser running on your computer: http://localhost/pert/testPage.htm Installing IIS IIS may already be installed on your computer. Check your folder structure to see if it contains a Inetpub Folder. IIS create this folder during installation. If it not, just do following Task. To install IIS on XP Professional: in Windows XP, choose Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Choose Add/Remove Windows Components. Select the IIS box and follow the installation instructions. Testing the IIS Create a html file and saved it in Inetpub\wwwroot folder on your computer. The HTML page can consist of a single line, such as: <p>My web server is working.</p> Save the page as pert.htm. Next, open the test page in a web browser with an HTTP request. If IIS is running on your local computer, enter the following URL in your web browser: http://localhost/pert.htm If the browser displays your page, the web server is running normally. If the browser fails to display the page, make sure the server is running. Click on the Control Panel > Administrative Tool > Internet Information Service. In IIS click on Plus sign of Local Computer, now click the Plus sign of Web Sites. Right Click on Default Web Site and Click on Start, if Start is displayed dimmed. This means that the Web Server is already running. If the page still fails to open, make sure your test page is located in the Inetpub\wwwroot folder and has an .htm or .html file extension. Download and install PHP. After configuring the IIS successfully, Now configure the PHP on your system. For PHP, You can download it to other location, but I download it here. After Unzipping, follow the following procedure. There are two main ways to install PHP for Windows: either manually or by using the installer. I not prefer installer way, I installed it manually for the experience. It’s a simple way, just joking. Just do it step by step. There is no problem now. First create the Environment Variables PHPRC. For this follow the following steps: Next step is to set up a valid configuration file for PHP, php.ini. There are two ini files distributed in the zip file, php.ini-dist and php.ini-recommended, in c:\php (where we extract PHP files). You may use any file. Copy your chose file in c:\php and rename it to “PHP.INI”. Edit your new PHP.INI file. Set the doc_root to point to your web servers document_root. For Examples: Doc_root = c:\inetpub Set the browscap configuration setting to point to c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\browscap.ini. Like this: browscap = c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\browscap.ini Start the Computer Management Console. For this Click Start > Run and Type “compmgmt.msc” without quotes. And click OK. In open window’s left pane click on plus sing of Services and Application, Click on the plus sign of Internet Information System, Click on plus sign of the Web Sites. Right Click on default web sites. Under the Home Directory, Click on Configuration option. In mappings click on Add option. Type the “c:\php\php5isapi.dll” in Executable and in Extension box type “.php” (Without quotes) and click OK. Again click on Add and type “c:\php\php-cgi.exe” in Executable, and in Extension box type “.php3” (without quotes) and click OK. Repeat the same process for “c:\php\php-cgi.exe” and “.phtml”. Now click on ISAPI Filters and Click on Add. Type “php” in Filter Name box and “c:\php\php5isapi.dll” in Executable box. And Click OK Twice. Restart the IIS completely. To do it. Click on Start > Run. Type cmd and click ok. In MS DOS windows type “NET STOP iisadmin” and press Y for ervery Question. Aftert this, type “NET START w3svc” You have configured the PHP successfully. To test the PHP installation For it, type the following code in a file named pert.php and saved it to c:\inetpub\wwwroot directory of your webserver. <html> <head> <title> PERT Installed PHP Successfully</title> </head> <body> <?php phpinfo(); ?> </body> </html> and open the Internet Explorer or Firefox. What else u using. And Type following in Address Bar. http://localhost/pert.php and U Will see an introduction page. The Script is successfully installed. I successfully test it on my computer, it success. But I did not take any responsibilty. For further Queries Feel free to contact me at RIMWEB. I will try to help u. Thanks and Take Care.

FREQUENLTLY ASKED QUESTION 1. Why does my computer sometimes say 'Connected at 115200 bps' when the phone is capable of upto 144 Kbps? When your computer reports a speed of 115200 bps, it is referring to the speed across the interface between the phone and the computer. The speed between your phone and the Reliance CDMA 1X National Network (and thus the overall system speed) can reach a maximum of upto 144 kbps. 2. How does my Reliance IndiaMobile differ from a standard external modem? Your standard external modem needs a fixed line phone connection to connect to the internet while your Reliance IndiaMobile is a wireless phone cum modem. Reliance IndiaMobile does not require any land-line phone connection. The phone itself has a high-speed modem built-in that can support upto 144 Kbps data rate. You can also make or receive phone calls when the data connection is "dormant", without having to terminate the existing connection, and resume data session when the voice call is over. 3. Is it OK to end a data call in the same way I end a voice call - by pressing END? Using your phone to end a data call won't usually cause problems. However, it is recommended that you end all wireless data sessions via R Connect Dialer. 4. What will happen if my battery runs out during a data call? The call will end. To avoid this charge the battery while using the phone to connect to the internet. 5. what should be the strength of a signal to be able to use R Connect? Data transmission can occur at any signal strength level. However, the connection will be more reliable with higher signal strength i.e. at least two bars on the signal level meter. 6. What happens if someone calls me when my Reliance IndiaMobile is on a data call? The caller will get a 'busy treatment' if your phone is actively transmitting or receiving data. However, if the phone status shows as "Dormant", you will be able to make or receive voice calls as usual. 7. Is there actually a modem in my Reliance IndiaMobile? Yes, your Reliance IndiaMobile has sophisticated communication electronics built-in, that includes a high-speed wireless data modem. Although this modem appears to your computer as any other standard dial-up modem (Hayes Compatible), calls cannot be made to other landline modems from Reliance CDMA modem. 8. What happens if I disconnect the data cable in the middle of a call? It is recommended that this should not be done as it may lead to permanent damage to the electronics inside your Reliance IndiaMobile or your computer. 9. Can I use my internal modem with my Reliance IndiaMobile to place a data call? No. Your Reliance IndiaMobile has a built in modem and is configured to communicate to the Reliance CDMA 1X network only. 10. Why don't I hear dialing (touch-tone) sounds from my Reliance IndiaMobile when placing a data call? When using an ordinary modem, you hear dialing (touch-tone) sounds because the modem is negotiating data rate and other communication parameters with the modem/ Access Server at the other end over a voice based analog communication channel. When using Reliance R Connect, your phone places the call on the Reliance Nationwide Digital CDMA 1X Network, and the call parameters get negotiated digitally within a fraction of a second. Further, all the communication is in Digital form. 11. How can I charge my battery and use R Connect at the same time? The data cable has a power connector specially built to accept power and charge the phone battery while you are using it as a modem. 12. Can I connect to my existing ISP account using Reliance IndiaMobile? No. Your Reliance IndiaMobile is configured to connect to the Reliance CDMA 1X network only. 13. What would be my average throughput speed? Several factors affect the average throughput speed (end-to-end speed). Broadly these are your computer' configuration (CPU speed, RAM, etc), radio network (number of concurrent users, radio resource availability), data network and the Internet (the site that is accessed, traffic/congestion at that site). The radio network can support speeds upto 144 Kbps. 14. Can I use my existing R Connect when I switch from one model to another? No. You need to reinstall R Connect software to be able to use your new model to connect to the internet. 15. Do I have to reinstall R Connect each time I want to switch from one model to another? No. You need to install R Connect only once for each model. When switching from one model to another you need to select the appropriate modem under the Properties tab for the R Connect Dial-up connection. Select Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Network & Dialup Connections Right click on R Connect, select Properties Choose the appropriate modem as given below: LG RD2030(serial) Standard 28800 bps modem LG RD7130 (serial) Standard 28800 bps modem LG LST-250(serial) Standard 19200 bps modem LSP-340E (serial) Standard 19200 bps modem LG RD2030(USB) LG USB MODEM RD7130 (USB) LG USB MODEM Samsung SCH-N191 Samsung CDMA modem Samsung SCH-A563 Samsung CDMA modem Samsung SCH-A603 Samsung CDMA modem Next time we discussed the Error Message which are pop up during use of RConnect. See this next time and Please help me if you have any proper solution. If any problem then Please make a post on Rimweb. Thanks and Take Care!

Here is the NEW review related to the 6130. Look and Feel Its rectangular shaped with dimension about 102X40X19mm (approx). The phone comes in dual colored with shining silver overall whereas the middle of the keypad the areas covering the Top portion (Front and Back) are black. Its Weight is 95 gms. Display It has brilliant 65000 Colour backlight LCD with 6 line text + one for service + one for menu item take it to 8 line display. Good Enough and far better than Nokia or Ericsson GSM sets. Displays Brightness and Backlight can be adjusted. The photo shots can be set as wallpaper. Since its a CSTN display, its not clearly visible in sunlight. I guess its the same feature as in LG RD 5130... The LCD light switches off after few secs, this makes it really difficult to know if the cell is ON or switched OFF. In the earlier LG model , when we press the # Key, it goes to LOCK MODE which we really useful. But that feature is MISSING. If u r a frequent LOCK MODE user like me, u can put this LOCK MODE in the Shortcut Menu called MY MENU. the blue backlight beneath the 4-way navigation keys blink intermittently, with about 15-30 sec intervals. and i think it has something to do with the signal, because it doesn't blink when I'm out of service area. Ring tones and Sounds 34 in-built ring tones, 3 downloadable from rworld and 5+5+5 from MMS (5 tones can be kept in ring tones menu, 5 can be 'My Media - Sound' menu and 5 can be there in 'MMS inbox'). Downloaded ring tones ring very well and loud unlike 7130 and 7230. Ring tones downloaded from Rworld also ring very loud. Vibrating alert is also present. The Tones are sometimes screeching and so its better to keep them low. In profiles > Ring Tone > My Media Ring tone. These tones are the ones u download using MMS Feature by sending a tone to your own mobile phone. Support .amr(AMR format is used for Nokia mobiles for voice ring tones such as Nokia 3220, 6600, NGage or many others. You can use Nokia Multimedia Player and converter to convert any audio file to AMR format file. Nokia Multimedia Player is a bundled software comes with Nokia PC Suite. AMR is a true tone type. 1 min of default setting amr file only took up to 60kb of your phone space. ), .midi, .WAV files & also .QCP (QCp is qualcomm CDMA Pure voice format u can download the player from this link http://www.cdmatech.com/solutions/products...ce_download.jsp the size of the file is less than wav.) The 6130 is also supports Voice ring tones like GTRAN, u all can get a lotta .qcp files here http://www.portablez.com/3g/collection.php...filter=2&size=0 ...i downloaded sum to my 6130...and was able to play them...but hey the songs sound horrible...the talking ring tones fare much better though.... use qcf for voice tones ...that's what i suggest...or make sum gd quality song tones by using qualcomm voice converter. or u can also try these links. Ringtones for lg rd 6130 (WAV format) Ring tones 6130 Wallpaper As many as 25 images can be saved in the 'Gallery' irrespective of the resolution. Further Up to 5 images can also be saved in 'My Media > Images' menu and 5 other in 'wallpaper > My Media Images 1-5'. Also have the black/white mode and 15 interesting fun frames. 640*480 covers the whole of the phones screen perfectly and wallpaper type is .jpg. Camera 0.3 M pixels Digital Camera (the sensor type is CMOS) with in-built flash - with image resolutions up to 640 X 480 pixels . Also have up to 4x zoom facility at lower resolution. It has three resolution 160X120, 320X240, 640X480. The camera is really cool and is one of the best camera (in a phone) available in the market. The lowest resolution in this handset is what most of the mobiles including Nokia offer in their so called 'the best' camera phones. It allows multishots 3 and 6. 25 pics can stored in the memory. They can be Mailed, set as Wallpaper and as Caller ID to. Inbuilt photo frame can also be assigned to the photo but no photo editor. Image can store in B & W and Color mode. but the pics are coming blurred. camera is not so good with compare to LG 7230 . The picture quality is amazingly good, but you need to make sure of the good light. It's, obviously good for using in the daylight. Pictures taken in night will not produce better results. It's true with all mobile cameras. since u cant really expect the pics to be as good as that of dig cam's! When shooting in dark increase the brightness and when in sun decrease the same. Also take note that to get clear and sharp pictures turn off the flash during the day time. Flash is good only during night. As an Example, I am posting these unedited pictures taken in broad daylight at 640x480 resolution, Brightness set at -2 and with the flash off. some exp. is required... Some body's experiences listed below 1. Pics in yellow bulb light are not great unless they are really bright on the subject area. If light source is reasonably away, you get a lot of noise. 2. In built Flash ... Hmm I would rather not use it.. pics came out awful.. only one side lit up like diwali.. 3. Bright daylight is great for pics.. 4. Sunshine directly on subject makes the subject appear bleached 5. Diffused sunlight that is .. on the outside under bright shady area .. works the best.. 6. Point the center of the pic in a dark spot and pics will get brightened up.. I think automatically. I usually have the lighting at -2 and take pics in daylight mostly. Good quality of light is essential for the Cam for sure! SMS u can receive up to 160 chars of SMS but cant send or forward any SMS more than 140 chars which i personally think is very bad. Apart from the regular features, SMS has features like Deferred Delivery and SMS to multi recipients. Can also send messages in Hindi. a new SMS Groups has been added to the Messages Menu which has actually made it possible to SMS to the entire Group(10 Members) at 1 go(with 1 press of a key)!! U can make 5 such groups(with 10 each)! It stores only 31 SMS. Moreover as it supports Hindi as well and therefore the capacity reduced if the SMS received is in Hindi. However 15 sent and Unsent SMS can be stored in Outbox. MMS 5 MMS can be stored each having a maximum limit of about 100KB. 4 can be saved in Unsent and other 5 can be saved in drafts so the total MMS is about 13. MMS cannot be sent to GSM currently. It comes with the 'Click and Send' feature. Take picture and instantly send it to any RIM (NOT any other network) or any email address. Can be sent to up to 10 recipients at one go. The message can be of up to 1000 characters in MMS. Just imagine, sending all important emails right thru your cell, anytime and anywhere. Above all, MMS feature is currently free!!! But now MMS are chargeable and the MMS registration for the prepaid customer is not confirm so far! Link to reliance MMS portal is http://bill.relianceinfo.com/webapp/portal/servlet/MMSLogin Download (Also see PC Sync) Midi files and .jpg images can be sent as attachment to this phone thru emails (your phone MMS id would be - '9193xxxxxxxx@mms.ricmail.com') and the content can be saved as ring tones or wallpapers. There is a website - www.muskurahat.com, from where all latest Hindi midi ring tones can be downloaded over internet and can be mailed to this phone thru any email. This is yet another wonderful feature of this phone, or I should say Reliance. The total size of MMS can be 100K which is good enough to have a complete 5 minute midi song, a high resolution image and text of up to 1000 characters! you cannot download the ring tones and wallpapers from any WAP Site. U got to make sure that the tones/wallpapers are below 80-100kB. inbuilt as well as downloaded ring tones could be attached and sent as MMS. Yes I tried it on my friend's 6130 by sending a ring tone to my 2030 and even successfully saved it on to my 2030. as written by URL=http://www.rimweb.in/forums/index.php?showuser=509]AMTRAG[/url] Speaker It has got speakerphone as well. Since, the speaker is different from the traditional earpiece speaker, it is very loud and sound nice...though not as stereophonic and has fine audio output while using Rworld multimedia applications even. It can be activated by pressing the # key. Battery its about 2 days stand by time with average 1 hr Talk Time and other stuff. if u used Camera the charging life reduces about 20%. The Battery is Li-lon 3.7 V Battery. The charger pin is now like Nokia and the charging port is the in side at the bottom. When the fon is off and is kept in charging it indicates the charging progress covering the whole screen and states phone is off. Low battery alert comes in twice before the phone is switched off automatically. Flash Light It's in-built flash light can also be used as mini torch. Just keep pressed the 'CLR' button for a while and it's on. To put it off, press 'End' key. This is not given in the manual I suppose. But this feature is not mentioned in the instruction manual it will consume more battery. it was mentioned in the initial offer brochure of the handset. Phone Book 300 number phone book with 4 numbers, 1 email, 1 memo along with Photo Caller ID, Ring tones and set secret passwords for particular number. Well the problem faced in 2030, is resolved for 6130 as far as the Caller ID is concerned. We don't need to store the nos in international format (0091....) anymore. Speed Dialing can be assigned for as large as 99 numbers. Rconnect and R World It has USB connectivity for data cable and has improved data transfer rate - upto 153.6 Kbps. and also full support for R World. PC Sync the PC Sync software for the same is on the link bellow: http://www.lgmobiles.com/LGSync_Link.exe After you install the software, you desktop will show two programs. 1. LG DesktopLite and 2. LG Link. Now use the first to download, or upload information like phone numbers, memos, todo ets from your fone to the PC and vice-versa. Use the second program(LG Link) to transfer pics from ur fone to ur PC. With LG Link, you will have to create a username and password. The password for you fone by default is 0000, unless you have changed it. One more important thing is I am having to use different com ports (to be set in sync manager) for desktop lite & LG link; otherwise, they r not recognizing that the phone is connected to the PC. The Software which you download from lgmobiles.com work irrespective of your cable is USB or COM. you can ALSO download the driver for USB cable from the website of FTDI as this cable is by manufactured by them. Just search the google for the website of FTDI. Keypad For all those who have used NOKIA before, the keypad might be clumsy for first few times. Four way navigation key is present and a CLR key is burrowed in the middle of it. This key is serves as shortcut key to Flash (Torch). Bottom key served as shortcut to Camera Menu and Other three key and two key between navigation and display are same as in previous LG set. Shortcut key for switching the camera on is next to the display at the right hand side (in the middle portion). Pressing it for about 3 sec. directly lets us to shoot pics. I think they are made of aluminum. The keypad backlight is blue. Keypad layout is not something to write home about... ok ..but to much close! The click button of the camera in 6130 would have been better placed in a more central position; like for eg., the CLR button position. Now it is inconveniently placed along the right border. But it is not a big issue. Profiles and other The phone support 4 profiles ans silent mode can be activated by pressing the * key. It has Organizer which includes Scheduler, a To Do list, Memo, Alarm(3) in which ringtones can be set as Alarm. A stop Watch, Basic Calculator and World Clock. Menu can be set as a list of Horizontal Browsing. Animated Menu icons are present that look great. There is a option called my menu in which the most often used Menu items can be set in a list. Games There are 2 Games Nine Ball and Anaconda. Language Hindi and English support Intenna This feature is not there in most of the phones. This makes the phone look good and easy to handle. This phone does not support downloading of Wallpaper and Ringtones through PC. I am not a user of this phone (6130); I collect these details from the RIMWEB and elsewhere and present before u. More comment and correction are invited. Please give full details, not fast reply. Only Review (i.e. pros and cons). Not problems which can solved in a time duration. Thanks and Take Care!

Improving Serial Port Performance You can get more out of your serial connection and get your modem working its fastest with the help of Device Manager. Go to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager. This will show you a list of all the devices attached to your PC. Look for the Port (COM) communication port. Right click and select Properties, and click the port settings tab. Increase the bits per second from "9600" to "128000" and Flow Control to "Hardware". Then, click on the Advance tab and set the Receive and Transmit buffers to Maximum. Click OK and close all Windows. Your COM port will now run at full throttle. Speed Up the Start Menu in Windows XP The Start Menu take a quite a while to display the list of programs installed. In order to get Windows XP to display the list faster, you will have to edit some registry settings. Remember to back up your regitry before making any changes. To speed up, goto Start > Run and type regedit. This will open the registry window. Then navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. Scroll down in the Right panel and double click on "menushowdelay". In the Value Data box, change the default value for the menu speed from 400 to a lesser number, such as 1 or even 0. Click OK You should now find a significant increase in the startmenu speed. More Next Time. Thanks and Take Care!

Error 720: No Ppt Control Protocol Configured
RajanPERT replied to Pradeep Tyagi's topic in Data services
I think your problem is Error 720: No PPP control protocol configured Try this Possible cause: You have NetBEUI selected under the PPP Network Protocol Settings, NetBEUI will be the default protocol used by PPP. Solutions: Deselect NetBEUI protocol in PPP Network Protocol Settings by following the steps below. Click on Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Dial-Up Networking. Click on More -> Edit entry and modem properties. Click the Server tab. Clear the NetBEUI checkbox. Click on OK. restart your computer. If problem not solved try to restore to a previous restore point if you are using Win 2000 or XP. Other wise try to reinstall the software, if you are using related to the cabel. I hope, your problem will be solved soon. Please give me detail. PS: I have to edit this post due to an error. Thanks and Take Care! -

Also Adding thought of Some user on RIMWEB. Which are described in some topics. Other LG models like 7130 and 7230 had many software bugs which i found fixed in this set. Over all, I would say for 7000 rupees (though you will find people selling it for even 5700 rupees also in prepaid), it is very good buy and value for money. Since, I have been using LG 7130 set for the past one and a half year, I can feel the difference in the software and this one has highly improved software. By Basant Firsts the Minuses or what I would have liked to have. 1. No Infrared, No Bluetooth, No FM radio 2. No Voice Recording 3. No Spare Battery included in the pack 4. Does not support MP3 ring tones 5. No Stereo headset 6. Not possible to change the font size 7. Not possible to change the Theme Colour 8. No Screensavers. 9. Clock time no option for Clock variant 10. Cannot delete default pictures/ringtones 11. Speaker Loud but not clear 12. Cannot switch off Handset on/off sound 13. Cannot change the wallpaper for Handset on/off from Gallery. 14. Buttons to near to each other 15. Alarm clock does not work if handset is off. 16. No battery charge status light. 17. Only 140 Characters SMS 18. No music composer 19. Battery charge port at awkward location making it difficult to talk while charging the battery. 20. Data cable not included 21. No Video recording 22. No built in Answering Machine PLUSES: 1. Excellent Integrated Hands free Speaker phone 2. Camera with flash 3. 300 phone book memory with 5 entry per memory 4. Ability to download midi tones 5. R world looks great 6. Simple to use menu interface 7. Flash doubles as torch 8. Good reception despite internal Antenna BY TD7678 Some points i would like to suggest as far as software & hardware is concerned!(1) Change of Text format (ie:T9 to ABC) is cumbersome, and default values are odd. (2) Camera is prone to damage, and cover would had been a useful feature. (3)Key Pad light goes very quickly...at least a 30 second or a manual adjustment would had been appreciated. (4) Body frame is prone to scratches, a more rugged back would had been better. BY RAHULDEVNATH Just Thanks and Take Care!

Forcing user to enter Password during Login in Windows 9X Unlike Windows NT, 2000 and XP, the login window in Windows 9X and ME can easily be bypassed by pressing the [ESC] key, or by clicking the Cancel Button. To prevent this from happening, first make sure that the user profiles are created and enabled, and that the "Include Start Menu and Program Groups in User Settings" option in the Control Panel is enabled for each user. Reboot the PC in Safe Mode by hitting the [F8] key during start up, and choose Safe Mode from the Boot Option. This is very important, because if something goes wrong, you can always reboot your computer in safe mode and rectify the problem. Type "regedit.exe" in Start > Run. Find the following key in the Registry: HKEY_USERS/Default/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run. In the right hand pane, right-click and choose New String Values, and rename it as "FixLogon". Finally, open the FixLogon entry you have just created, by double clicking on the right pane of the Registry Editor windows, and specifying the following command as its Value data: rundll.exe user.exe, EXITWINDOWS. Reboot your PC to save the change. If you want to restore previous setting, simply delete this key. Thanks and Take Care!

Presently, I have clean installations of Windows 98, Windows XP, and SUSE Linux on different partition of the hard disk “hda”. I also have an installation of Windows XP on another hard disk “hdc”. Now I install both hard disks on same set. Every thing is working well. I can mount both hard disks from Linux, and access its data. Now I want to add the Windows XP, which present on the first partition of the hard disk “hdc”, at the boot loader LILO of the Linux. I configure the boot loader of the Linux like this: boot = /dev/hda vga = normal read-only menu-scheme = Wg:kw:Wg:Wg lba32 prompt timeout = 80 message = /boot/message image = /boot/vmlinuz.suse label = suse root = /dev/hda9 optional other = /dev/hda1 label = Windows other = /dev/hdc1 label = WindowsXP But i cannot access the WindowsXP present on "hdc1" (i.e. my second hard disk "hdc") from this. When i click on WindowsXP option it take me to a continuous looping as i think (i.e. nothing started and no error message). Other setting are working well. Please help me! Waiting for your valuable suggestion. Thanks and Take Care!

Thanks for your valuable suggestion. I will definetily try Grub Boot Loader. But the matter here is not GRUB boot loader or LILO boot loader. The Fact is, when i try to boot my Windows XP partition present at second hard disk. It doesn't boot. But by the help of Windows Boot Loader, it boot properly. Thanks and Take Care!

First, Thanks to u for your support. But i don't want to use Windows boot loader. Because i already configure my system according this. I want to use the Lilo boot loader available in Linux. U ask some question to me. The answer is given below: Yes, i am 100% sure that the Windows XP is present on the HDC1 (Primary slave of IDE2) and i already mounted it in my Linux installation and access its content without any problem. The Windows XP is not corrupt, because i can run it through Windows Boot Loader. Waiting for more comments and suggestion. Thanks and Take Care!
