Posted on 11 Aug 2005 # UNI Reliance Inf tie-up with XLRI for e-learning management course Kolkata: Anil Ambani's Reliance WebWorld, an arm of Reliance Infocom, today announced a tie-up with XLRI-Jamshedupur, one of the country's premier management institues for launching e-learning course on logistics supply chain management through virtual class room platform for the first time in Asia. Targetting high-potential mid-career managers, the 14-month certificate course would be available in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune through Reliance WebWorld outlets, company's CEO Sarup Choudhury said. He said the venture was a part of Reliance WebWorld's ongoing drive to add value to its broadband network service, at present having a four-lakh strong membership base. The company would shortly go for a different kind of tie-up, the web marketing organisation was at present holding talks with several reputed universities both in the cournty and abroad for launching various e-learning courses, he said. Explaining the mode of the virtual class room platform, Mr Choudhury said the professor would use the WebWorld's state-of-the-art video conferencing facility to reach out to the student community across locations on a real time basis. Students can not only see and hear the professor live as they would in real class room, they can also interact with the teacher and fellow students at other locations through a two-way video conferencing unlike the system in the past. ''This is for the first time in Asia that such a course is being launched through virtual class room platform,'' he said. Mr.Choudhury said the e-learning course would benefit a large number of aspirants, who despite being capable and good, could not find accommodation in class room course. The structure of the course had been developed based on a comprehensive study conducted by XLRI involving 3,000 working supply chain professionals across the seven cities and found that 85 per cent of them preferred a course on the business aspects of logisitcs and supply chain management, XLRI Director Father N Casimir Raj SJ said. ''Our tie-up with RWW to offer PGCLSCM on the Real Broadband platform will take the management training expertise of our faculty to several virtual class rooms across India. This programme is a part of XLRI's larger plans to upskill corporate India by offering premium programmes right at the doorstep,'' he said.

I send this query related to the LG RD 5130. But no body solved my problem. Please help so i can decide, whether i purchase this phone or not. Presently I have LG RD 2030 and GTRAN GCP with two batteries and Both phones are Working Great. Waiting for Reply! Thanks in advance.

Check all the things one by one. First check in your phone (LG RD 2030). 1. Click menu > settings > phone > data setting and click on the Data/Fax option, and check yes, and fix the Data Baud Rate to 11500. In your Laptop, First shutdown your laptop completely and switch off it for a moment. After some time, Switch on it again and try to connect the Rconnect. If you find the previous problem (0633 Port is already Open) Again. Then follow the following steps. 1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Double Click on Phone and Modem Options > Click On Modems Tab in the Phone and Modem Options Dialog Box. And Check whether other modem or device attached to your COM3 port. 2. If Yes, then remove the following device and restart your system. 3. If no, then remove your modem from this dialog box and uninstall Rconnect. 4. Restart your Laptop. 5. Try to install the modem and Rconnect again. 6. If Problem not solved, remove all devices displayed in the Phone and Modem Option except Rconnect (LG RD 2030 Modem) and restart Your Laptop. Restart means Shutdown Your Laptop and Start it Again by Switch On. Give me Phone and Modem Option dialog box’s details. If problem does not solved. Thanks for reading. Please help me. I am new for Rimweb. Please describe me Working Condition of the Key Pad of LG RD 5130. Somebody say me that the keypad is very disturbing because of Rubber Band. So it might get some wear-tear early. And want to know the accurate (about) details of Talk time and Stand by time. Because I cannot depend on the Reliance description of that phone on their respected website. Presently, I used LG RD 2030, and want to purchase this phone. But I am very confused about its keypad and battery life. And also describe me other prose or conse, if possible, which are not describe in this or other posting. Thanks for reading.
