In Patna you will get cdma network everywhere but the problem is that MTS is not there and for 4g upgradation cdma is being served from single carrier only on every bts. All other carriers are vacated for 4g alignment. Resulting in lot of congestion in network here. You will face problems most in Danapur and Patna city area. In all other areas you can make calls in 3 or 4 attempts.

Bihar and Jharkhand are 1x circles. Evdo was never here.
-
Cdma services is on in Bihar. Only activation has been stopped. Since MTS is not here and only 1 carrier on every BTS is serving cdma, services are effected badly. Services will not be discontinued before 31st

Price for 4G sim is Rs 25/- for all circles. Its not free. Anything above Rs 25/- is being extra charged by that particular store.
-
All you need to do is upgrade your current cdma sim to new 4G sim in Chennai circle. Your zero plan will continue as it is on the new sim till the remaining period. Zero plans have free roaming so u can use it in Siliguri without any issue. Dont go for INP/MNP process.

LTE sim has nothing to do with cdma or gsm handsets. If your handset supports LTE band 3/5/40 then RCOM 4G sim will work maybe the handset is cdma or gsm. But since they are providing voice on 2g/3g gsm network you need gsm handset for both data and voice. With cdma supported sets you can only access data through LTE.

^^^^ No only Jio 4G. Second sim is Rcdma Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk

IMG-20160414-WA0001_1.jpgIMG-20160414-WA0000_1_1.jpg Cost of 4g sim card is Rs 25/-. For upgrade customer has to send a sms from his existing cdma no. Sms format is 4g19 digit 4g sim no to 1299. Upgrade can also be done by calling 1299 and entering 19 digit 4g sim no. So migration successful??? Is ur network gsm??Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk Migration has not started yet. For the first phase circles it will start from 25th. Customers can purchase the 4g sim and register their request by sending the sms. Migration will start in batches from 25th of this month.

Process is RCOM cdma>4G. (No INP process)Only for cdma customers. Rgsm not allowed.

All ur core balance, as well as data balance will be carried forward. Promotional balance shall not.

What plans are on offer for RCDMA users migratign to RGSM? Migrating to RGSM is completely different than upgrading to 4g. You have to do MNP/INP to migrate to RGSM and the plans are not very attractive too. Better upgrade to 4g and ur same voice and data plan will continue. You can use the 4g sim in normal 2g/3g gsm handset also if you dont want to use 4g. Post 90 days you will b eligible for MNP once again. What do u mean by 4G is different than RGSM here? Are you saying that CDMA customer who upgrade to 4G will have different network than RGSM? I thought even RGSM customer can use 4G network Reliance CDMA migrating to 4G will NOT use Reliance GSM network at all. They will solely use JIO's LTE/GSM network. When did JIO put their gsm network ??????. They only have their own LTE network and for voice they are still struggling with VoLTE.Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk JIO's LTE network will be known as GSM for the general public for all sense and purpose. It will use 4G enabled phones with LTE bands which are all basically GSM phones not CDMA. Reliance's GSM network is pathetic to say the least and the voice fallback plan for Reliance 4G customers is suspect and JIO is developing it's own backbone over LTE and VoLTE to counter that.Hope that clarifies. Whatever backbone JIO may be developing, the reality is that their commercial launch is being delayed just because of their unsuccessful VoLTE testings. So JIO cannot think of providing voice fallback for RCOM 4g customers. Chances are very high that JIO will use RGSM and their ICR partners for its voice fallback even after successful VoLTE launch.

Exactly. For me it seems that JIO is somehow testing its LTE on 850 band with RCOM cdma customers before they strart deploying for themselves.

Does it mean that temporarily we can take 4G SIM and use with normal 3G phone till we get a 4G compatible handset. Yes you can. Whenever u buy 4g handset you can use LTE. Till then u can use normal 2g/3g on gsm handset.Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk
