I am one of the happy customers of them...in voice I am using lifetime 1p/2 sec plan & in data 97/147 INR plan...its great to use a single operator which is giving best voice & data plan with great network quality & good coverage...............

I got few official sms's from MTS regarding this evdo plans.... i.e. "Get 2 Gb Free Data Usage For 30 Days With Recharge Of Rs97 Only. To Activate Sms BUY<>STV<>97 To 51230 (Toll FREE). Customers bought mobile handsets by using their hard earned money & they have the right to get the latest software/firmware update in his handset from the companies if the hardware spec of his/her phone support future updates....We know that companies have lot to do for giving sw updates to different phones....but it is not our headache....we are here as customers/users & this forum is for customers......so pls dont bother for companies....they always misguide us by different ways...they have enough resource & money to give us the desired sw updates to almost all phones they introduced & its their duty....they are cheating us by not giving the updated softwares......

After so much googling at last I bought Samsung Metro TV(M519)@6000INR On 4th june'10.... Pros: 1.Attractive screen 2.Nice looks 3.Good & attractive metal like finish 4.Awesome sound output through headphone 5.Good contact & Messaging management 6.Good camera 7.Voice quality & n/w quality is good 8.U can use any resolution walls as full screen wallpaper 9.Stylish graphics as other Metro series GSM phones 10.Lightweight & very thin body 11.Good sunlight legibility Cons: 1.Sound level through loudspeker is not up to the mark 2.Small 2inch screen 3.All java files are not supported 4.non customizable sms tunes 5.Keys are not good for heavy sms users I am not sure about its battery backup & evdo/internet features till now....I have no OMH sim,so I cannot test internet through it till now & after few days of using I can say some words about its battery backup... BTW it is a good buy for cdma lovers(who prefers non touch phones)...I am using it with MTS & I am happy now....

@saket Retailers should put a point beside the amount... i.e. if anyone want to recharge with 4.99..retailers should write 4,then put a point(.) & after the point put 99....then it becomes 4.99...its very easy....there is no chance of recharging 499.... @gpkumaran As per my knowledge these evdo plans were not introduced for pan India till now....its 1st launched in West Bengal. But it will soon launch in all other circles also...if i got any update regarding this,i will post that....

@me_saket Hope these plans are soon available in other circles also..... @mujeebrehman Its ur choice mate.... @xuketo I think some Sprint/Verizon phones are already available for using with MTS connection which were programmed by Rimweb Guru's....hope all Sprint/Verizon phones will usable with MTS in near future......

@saket There is no direct way to check data balance till now...but when we will send "BAl" to 51230 or call 177,all other balance including remaining data balance will be displayed by sms...this is the only way as per my knowledge till now..
