I download gmap from web in my computer & then transfer it to my ph. & then install it....

MTS does not start mobile internet in wb circle.....but I test email sending & receiving with reliance & its working fine for me.... I am also install google map in metro tv & this application is working fine for me......

@Himanshu Singh Yes,Samsung guru559 has true 1300 mAh capacity battery.....it has good talktime of 5-6 hours & almost 5-6 days standby time with moderate usage....it has good built quality,good fm reception & recording....overall a very very good cdma handset within low budget range....I personally recomend this to my friends & they r truly happy with this one.......It costs about `1950-2050 INR.....

@ mathvar Thanks 4 ur reply...... BTW...This is not a problem.......it is as equal to the cell info display/broadcast service of gsm connection....this thing never happened with me...it may be due to ur n/w provider(Reliance cdma provide this cell location display facility with every rim cdma connection...I faced this issue in my lg 3530 with rim cdma connection).....I am using metro tv with MTS....& it never happened to me because MTS has not activated cell info display option till now.... Which connection r u using?

@raghugs it gives me 2-2.5 days standby time with moderate usages...I never switch off my mobile.....

@mathvar Can u post ur current software version of metro tv? to know ur current version just dial *#0000# in main screen.....

Samsung METRO TV is very good in case of NETWORK RECEPTION......it has not a single -ve issue regarding network....as a metro tv user I can confirm this......

Metro cdma support photo caller id,& per contact ringtone also.... i dont know if it survives in a condition as described u or not...I seems that it is quite long lasting...

@ rohit_m786 Samsung METRO TV has 1000 sms memory & 1000 contact memory.....Messages can not be stored in memory card.....

Ans.This phones operating system is good & u can say it is fast but not superfast...sometimes it lags in Music player & gallery...but not bad...as a brew/rex operating system phone,it is good.... Q.Is the mobile phone support minimising java aplications ? Ans.The answer is NO.... Q.I hope the mobile phone would act as modem too ? Ans.100%...It act as a modem for 1X/EvDo connecion both.... Ans.I could not understand ur question...but in case of its own screen..it is very good...& in case of samsung pc suite app in pc screen,I have nothing to say because I did not use these pc studio till now.... Ans.In main screen the network logo is with tiny size...but others in main screen & menus is not small...I think screen elements have good size & it can not became a problem for anyone.... Q.Moreover why Samsung Metro TV M519 is suspiciously absent in Samsung India website and Tata indicom / Reliance mobile websites ? Ans.It is a big fault of Samsung & Tata Indicom,they did not update their site with this handset till now...Even Samsung has not update their cdma site with so many new cdma handset till now,i.e. Metro TV,Guru CDMA etc........ @raghugs @chitshar After using this handset for about 1 month..I am satisfied... Pros.... 1.it has good battery backup...almost 2-2.5 days with normal use(2hours calling,few hundred sms,1 hour music,some bluetooth file transfer,.5 hour fm,& browsing phone menus & gallery for almost .5 hours) 2.I bought a Reliance OMH sim card & able to test the browser & mobile tv...it has a excellent browser,page loading is fast,web pages r opening very fast with every details including pictures,graphics,google docs everything just like my pc browser...I use opera mini also..it also gives good browsing environment.....Metro Tv browser is far better than my old Nokia N73's browser....Mobile TV interface & functions is good...it available with full screen also....My all internet experience with Metro TV was with 1X network(in my place,there is no evdo coverage)...& i am very much satisfied with its internet experience...... Cons..... 1.All java files r not supported...I think its due to resolution problem....but google maps,opera mini & so many other usefull apps are supported.... 2.I am not able to use my Nokia stereo bluetooth headset BH-204 with it for music listening....although voice call experience is preety good with a2dp headset with Metro TV.... BTW in my opinion it is a good handset for cdma users.......& sorry I am not able to upload pictures.....feel free to ask any question regarding Metro TV..... & @raghugs..I do not find any bugs in this handset till now....

@Asit Lg 510 is a open market cdma handset.....see other threads about this handset in Rimweb.... @chitshar Samsung Metro TV CDMA is way better than LG6300....Metro Tv is EvDo enabled.......

I bought it on 4th june....I always charge my new handset daily for first 7 days...so till 10th I am not clear about its battery backup...I will surely update my experience after 10th...BTW thanks for ur quick responce...

I am using samsung cdma handset from last one year...I used Mpower Muzik,superstar,b559,guru muzik & now m519...all the handset except superstar has good n/w quality all over...Till now I did not face any signal problems with this samsung cdma handsets....

But as per the ongoings of Indian Market...this phone surely not come to India....although if it comes..it will tied with Reliance or Tata...so no hope to grab a OMH powered Wave...

U can use tata photon plus or Reliance netconnect plus.....but the best choice will be MTS Mblaze.....but at first contact MTS cc to know if broadband on mobile is available in ur area or not.... but pls post a review of ur new handset M519(Metro TV) here soon....I am planning to buy one....

I am confused b2in samsung mpower699 & Samsung Metro TV....which is better in terms of network quality,voice clarity,battery backup,screen resolution,ringtone & music sound over speakers,build quality,internet surfing over phone browser & in allmost every criteria....the price diff is not a matter for me...pls suggest me b2in this two handsets...which is better???but pls do not suggest any other handsets,bcs I am buying 1 b2in this two soon.......users of this handsets & rimweb's experts pls suggest me soon.... R u U expecting stereo bluetooth facility in 2000 Rs/- samsung cdma phone?..... It not has any connectivity option like bluetooth..it just has brew support...If u want a2dp enabled handset in lower price segment..go for any chineese craps or rebranded chineese craps with Indian company logo....but with those company u also can not able to get a2dp or even blutooth with 2000 price range...
